. Through the movie Lucifer prithviraj presented our lalettan in a way we want to see him. Through bro daddy prithviraj brings the vintage entertaining mohanlal...!

Mohanlal's new movie directed by prithviraj sukumaran now streaming on Disney hotstar. A perfect game changer for the disney hotstar. Through out the movie mohanlal Steele's the complete show. What a screen presence and performance. Director prithviraj sukumaran cleverly used the comedy performing mohanlal. There is a shot in the trailer, an expression of lalettan, which got many trolls from the social media. But in this film that expression of mohanlal works well. There are 6 main characters are in this film. All their performance just ok. Another actor lalu alex put out a shoulder to shoulder performance with response to mohanlal. Comedy scenes and emotional scenes are worked nicely. But In majority situations i felt that actors just done their job. There is no changing to a character.
Script was just ok. Cinimatography and colouring was so stunning. Especially colouring... It gives a fresh and happy mode for that film. Scene by scene colourist done a fantastic job for creating the mood with respect to the scenes. Song's and BGM's are nice. Deepak dev done a great job. Abhinandan Ramanujam's Cinimatography was also nice.

The plot of this movie was nice. The movie is a story about two rich families. So in reality there is a doubt remaining that the concept shown in this film worked out or not. That is why i felt the film like a folklore. But it was not an impossible thing. Bro Daddy. Totally the film was a fun ride. One time watchable.

. First i want to tell about Basil Joseph before I'm going to tell about minnal Murali. Kunjiraamaayanam & Godha are two movies which have most repeate value in recent years directed by basil joseph. He made his own throne in mollywood through that two movies. Through minnal Murali he is sit on that throne and declares as a brand of minimum guarantee.

. Minnal murali is an amazing cinematic experience in 2021. In first half the movie concentrated in character development and some comedy and testing of super powers. In second half the super hero elements are coming and last 45 min was in the top notch. Jaison played by tovino thomas was nice. The super hero minnal murali is well placed in his hands. A coward and superhero at a time. It was well presented by tovino thomas. Heroine Bruce lee biji was also nice. She is also contributed some superhero elements in climax.
But in the entire movie the show stealing performance done by the tamil actor Guru Somasundaram. His character name was shibu. The depth of his character was awesome. With his awesome performance guru somasundaram made shibu as a perfect anti hero.

The movie is technically also awesome. First of all the movie have a perfect excellent script. Cinimatography was done by sameer thahir. All frames are top class. Colouring also outstanding.. Shan Rahman's music and Sushin shyam's BGM's are top notch. Especially that combination scene between shibu and usha. The song 'uyire' gave a different feel to that scene. That entire sequence was awesome👌🏿💯. Vlad rimberg's action sequences are next level. It give a feel of typical super hero fight. Editing was also nice. The entire crew of the film gave their best output for this movie. Missed that teaser BGM.🙂 .
. Story of shibu was the backbone of the script. His characterization, character depth all are outstanding. The man who done anything for their loved ones. Shibu. He didn't fall by his death also. We can find the different connections in the basil joseph universe.

Positives.
. In single words like mohanlal said, Marakkar is an emotional drama... A technically magnum opus from mollywood. I think those who watched this film haven't any other argument with that. VFX, Cinimatography, Art direction, Bgm all are excellent. All actors are except mohanlal contributed their maximum to the film. Especially Pranav mohanlal.. 💯👌🏿🔥 First 45 minutes he was the center of attraction with his screen presence and performance. Also Arjun sarja & Jay J. Jakkrit(Chinnali) amazed with a stunning performance. Bgm was good. Two wars.. Some action sequences.. Climax.. Totally these are the main positives i feel.. .
. Negatives.
. The film is more concentrated in the technical aspect so i think they don't care about the script. Script is just an average one. Not a strong one. Along with that 3hr duration is also a factor. Priyadarshan didn't use mohanlal in his full potential. Mohanlal just did his role as the script demands. Dialogues in some places feels like cringe. BGMs are good but i felt there is a scarcity for the BGM... At some moments visuals are so silent.. Character development was so poor.
. Over all Marakkar : Lion of Arabian Sea deserves a theatrical experience due to its visual extravaganza. Theatre with a good quality screen and good sound system have offer a great theatre experience.. Like Priyadarshan sir said Marakkar is a most brilliant film in its technical aspect. Like lalettan said its an emotional drama. If these words are in your mind you have get a great theatre experience.. Personally i like this movie. But not an extraordinary one.

One more thing. Its not a mass movie like KGF or Bahubali. It contains some history and some fiction. So don't approach this movie as a mass film. It offers a watchable stuff in theater. This movie doesn't deserve a degrading now going in social media.💯🔥 .
. NB: Director Priyadarshan once said that Marakkar is one of his dream projects. So he could have avoided copying things from Braveheart and Troy.🙂 (Personal openion)

Sardar Udham (2021)
Masterpiece
Uddham Singh is one of the unsung heroes in the history of Indian freedom struggle. Sardar Uddham is a film inspired by his struggles.
The film is not ready to compromise on its content and quality. It can claim to be the best making film I have seen in recent times. Vicky Kaushal's performance as Sardar Uddham is excellent.
The last hour of the film.. I don't know how to describe it. The audience will sit for an hour not knowing whether what they see in front of them is imaginary or real.. That whole hour will be a total freeze..
The climax of the film shows that a lot of documents about Sardar Uddham are still unpublished. Real life is not brought to the screen in the same way. It has cinematic elements. But the film will never disappoint the viewer.. Another epic film in Indian cinema...

It is a good attempt in fantasy genre.. The climax promises a second part of this film... Bcz of that i thought this film made a base for that movie... Anyway 2hr 14 mins we can enjoy this movie with a happy-pleasant mood.. I saw a lots of negative reviews about this film.. I don't understand what's wrong with this movie... Its just a fantasy-comedy-drama.. I think many of the people are take this movie as a horror one... Actually it is not horror... It is a good fantasy movie...
The only negative is that many of the comedy seens are didn't worked.. Actually those seens are tragedy.. Anyway movie is nys... Watchable.
