Spider-Man: No Way Home
(2021)

Spider Man: A Culmination of Everything Awesome about Spider Man
As someone who loves the Sam Raimi and the MCU Spider Man movies (including Into the Spider Verse) I thought this movie did such an awesome job of integrating all the Spider Man universes that ended up working out for everyone (no matter which Spider Man fan you're a fan of; Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield or Tom Holland they bring out the best from each of them). This may be my new personal favorite Spider Man movie, period. If you haven't done so, please go see this amazing movie in theaters and get the experience you deserve!! It's absolutely worth it!!!! Reading these reviews don't do justice here, you need to experience it!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid
(2021)

A Solid Animated Movie??? Zoo Wee Mama!!!
Yes, as someone who's read the Wimpy Kid books for almost my entire life and seen all 4 of the live action movies, I think this movie succeeds at being a great fresh start for the animated wimpy kid saga. Yes 58 minutes does feel too short of a runtime for some but I wasn't too bothered by it since everyone knows what happens in the original book and movie. Overall this gets my seal of approval to go watch it immediately if you have spare time!!

Olaf Presents
(2021)

Olaf Can Retell Movies Better Than ANY Disney Remakes
While I'm not a mega fan of Olaf or Frozen (I don't hate them I just wouldn't put it on my top 10 favorite movies) I was entertained at how he can retell classic movies such as The Lion King or Aladdin or Moana in a fun and not bland or boring way. If you got time to spare, I recommend seeing this once. It's good enough for me.

Robin Robin
(2021)

Yet Another Charming Aardman Animated Film
Yes technically this is a half an hour short animated movie, but it was worth spending my 30 minutes watching this charming and adorable film. Everything about it from the pacing, characters, beautiful animation style is just what you expect from a great studio trying to experiment something new, and it all paid off. If you got 30 mins to spare, watch this masterpiece on Netflix!!

Encanto
(2021)

Encanto the Enchanted
So I went into this film with moderate expectations after seeing Raya and the Last Dragon and feeling underwhelmed after finishing it. I wasn't expecting it to be a 10/10 movie but I didn't want to hate it either. But I gotta say I really loved this movie. Even though I don't label it as a masterpiece like Pixar's Coco there is genuine heart and entertainment in this animated film. Mirabel Madrigal is my new favorite Disney gal I highly recommend seeing this one for kids, animation fans, Latinos/Columbians who celebrate their Columbian culture and moviegoers.

Doom: Annihilation
(2019)

This Makes Resident Evil Look Like The Godfather
Dreadful... ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL!!! This movie does nothing with the source material it's trying to adapt based the awesome and energetic video games. The acting is trash, sets look like they're straight out of a rejected sitcom, the characters are one-dimensional and completely uninteresting in the SLIGHTEST! Also you can tell this movie has NO budget when it comes to the demons, they look like crappy CG symbiotes from Venom (no offense to that movie) that are also NOT SCARY at all. If this was trying to go for horror/action like Alien/Aliens, it failed epically! Avoid this piece of crap at all costs!!!!

The Mitchells vs the Machines
(2021)

The Incredibles Meet The Terminator
For animation fanatics, this is similar to The Incredibles but taken place during modern times where smartphones and the internet exist. Honestly this movie has SO MUCH heart than people give it credit for. Especially with the Mitchells being a strong asset to the overall film. Each family member is distinct and likeable enough to the point of wanting them to succeed so bad! Sure for every 1 or 2 misfires in jokes (specifically the internet meme jokes), there's so much of them that gave me a good laugh. I enjoyed it so much to the point of rewatching it 3 times on Netflix and it I like it even more upon rewatch.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
(2018)

With Great Power, Comes a Great Animated Movie
Even though I love the Sam Raimi Spider Man trilogy (yes even including SM3) I think this is the absolute best Spider Man movie I've seen that is worth watching multiple times. If you haven't seen it yet, go and watch it!
