...because this episode is bad.

Unpopular Opinion headed your way: I have been patiently waiting with so much anticipation for S2 of this hilarious show to finally hit America - what a big, fat DUD. I might even say cringey awful. Too many forced attempts at trying to be funny - and it wasn't. C'mon, b'ys, let's get to the fun hockey stuff, eh?

Fortunately, we don't have to wait a week for Episode 2 to be released on Hulu (or any of the rest of them, it seems) and YUP, Shoresy is back on track. Now we can maybe start handing out game sticks again!

I stopped watching after Episode 3 as it was starting to pick up steam and I wanted to save it for later this weekend.

I had not heard one thing about this movie.

I'd already seen Oppenheimer, Barbie, Mission: Impossible, and Sound of Freedom, so on a whim, I booked myself a double feature in a cool theatre on this hot summer day.

First up - another movie I knew nothing about: Shortcomings. An enjoyable R-rated movie.

Next: Theater Camp. I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into when it started, but Searchlight movies tend to be bring me joy in a variety of ways. Theater Camp did not disappoint. There were some great laughs, great performances (I never cease to be amazed by how much talent kids of all ages and sizes can have!!), and a great ending.

Theater Camp should be on your radar to go see. Enjoy!

Just walking out of the theatre after watching the double feature #Barbenheimer. The two-hour movie was awful. AWFUL! I'm so glad I got to see that one first because the three-hour movie...aka Oppenheimer...was genius. Absolutely phenomenal. I will have to see it again to clear up in my mind which guys was which scientist. Einstein (obvious, of course) was a glorious character (as he was in real life), so I thoroughly enjoyed Tom Conti's portrayal of him. I am a huge fan of Matthew Modine - what a gift to see him on the big screen again. Gary Oldman is unreal (and unrecognizable) as Truman. Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., and Downey's (Strauss') advisor (don't know who the actor is) steal the last 25 minutes of the show. Wonderful work all around!

I was SO looking forward to seeing this. Then reading all the rave reviews and high ratings only elevated my expectations. Maybe that was the problem.

I loved the ending. The soundtrack, of course(!!), was phenomenal. Cameos and the return of past characters added some fun satisfaction.

All of those positives and I *still* stand by my very unpopular opinion...the first hour and forty minutes of Guardians of the Galaxy, Volume 3 were boring as hell. It was so disappointing. I was not the only in the theatre who had a "long blink." The man next to me snored out loud. When his wife gave him a tap, she said, "I'm dozing off, too..."

Once into the final 40-45 minutes stretch, however, it's pure galaxy fun! The dog days are over. :-)

Is this the most fun movie you'll ever see? No. Is it the most comedic roles for Ray Romano and Laurie Metcalf? Not even close. Somewhere in Queens is, however, a different approach to showing just how deep family love can go. Right or wrong, funny, sad...real genuine love for family is a gift, and that is the true message here.

Somewhere in Queens is well-written, well-acted, and leaves you thinking about the several storylines days after seeing it. Family dynamics are always thought provoking, yes?!

To me, Sadie Stanley (a doppelgänger to Julia Stiles in 10 Things I Hate About You) is the standout here. Forget about her character Dani being the most grounded of all in the film, I found myself looking forward to her appearing on the screen. You're never really sure what Dani is going to say, but it's always with tons of heart.

This film is worth your time.

Most sports fans know the story of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in Major League Baseball. And most NBA fans know the story behind AIR - certainly Bulls and Michael Jordan fans of a certain age do. But I did NOT know the story about Nat "Sweetwater" Clifton, and neither did my 87-yr. Old dad who played against the Globetrotters in his younger years.

Sweets' break into the NBA happened a mere 2-3 years after Jackie R.'s into MLB. Jackie's style of play didn't change baseball; Sweets' style of play definitely changed NBA basketball!

Not sure why there are no trailers or ads for this movie filling up our movie and TV screens, but it is an entertaining movie with a good cast, too.

Where the heck are you, Guy Ritchie?!

There were so many moments when a great, hilarious line could've been thrown into this script, annnnnnnd...nothing. Such a fun cast. Beautiful scenery. All wasted on some stale high-school boy's locker room jokes instead of Guy's BOLD and SMART laugh-out-loud zingers ala Snatch.

Hugh Grant was entertaining.

Aubrey Plaza was beautiful.

I love Cary Elwes but his character wasn't utilized enough.

My favorite character was Bugzy Malone's J. J., but, like Cary's Nathan, he didn't get enough development either.

Disappointing, to say the least.

Viola. Wonderful actor! And now and then she hit a Michelle Obamaism. But good grief. Her forcing the lip gestures was so over the top it was a total distraction.

Gillian. Wonderful actor! And acting wise she was the epitome of Eleanor Roosevelt's strong woman first, and then First Lady. But c'mon. Did Viola force Gillian to make silly mouth gestures, too, so that she wouldn't be the only accomplished actor to look like a high school understudy? Gillian is perfectly capable of acting her character to life. Case in point: her Margaret Thatcher in The Crown.

Michelle. Hands down is BEST part of this show. Best storyline. Amazing performance. Compelling Betty Ford. Michelle Pfeiffer has never been so grand.

First, I watched every episode. No way people should give low ratings when not making it through "the first 30 minutes," or stopping "after 3 episodes."

Second, I thoroughly enjoy Kaley Cuoco as an actress and humanitarian, and, yes, even outside that "Big" show, too. She's talented and likable, even when playing an unhinged character. Hahaha

However, this show was painful to watch. The jumping back and forth between flashbacks, current day events, sloppy discussions, and constant lying gave me a headache.

All in all, it made me sad and ain't nobody got time for dat!

1) This is a comedy but not a belly laugh out loud film.

2) Per usual, Ed Helms does not disappoint.

3) Sometimes we get movies that are sweet and refreshing with endings that leave you wanting more. This is one of those. It's OK to let viewers decide for themselves, in their own hearts and minds, what the ending is.

Expected so much more.

I mean, it's Billy Crystal! And TIFFANY HADDISH!! (Love her and she is the best part of the movie.) I just wanted more - of something. Not sure what, but something.

Such a pleasant surprise.

Very sweet.

VERY PG - a smooch or two but no sex, no swears, no violence, no blood or bodily harm.

Gorgeous Irish scenery.

Funnnn music!

Not too stupid or corny, just right.

The lead actress is lovely. Kinda like a youngish Amy Adams but MUCH cuter - and not some fake, skinny-ass you know what. 😆 The guy is a definite Heath Ledger wannabe but I don't fault him for it. 😂 And, of course, Vanessa Redgrave. 👏🏽👏🏽

This was well done and interesting - especially the final three episodes. 🙌🏽Jolene!🙌🏽

IMO: This would've been better as a 2-hour movie than a series of seven (SEVEN!!) long episodes.

Why all the buzz on this movie? Yes, it's a new and creative spin on the November 9 version of Groundhog Day, but it is nowhere near better. Except for some moments of JK, the repeat of nihilism day after day is not fun, nor is it entertaining. At least we weren't subjected to the first five minutes being played out each waking day. I so wanted to like this. I so didn't.

You don't have to be a Beatles fan to enjoy Yesterday...

This is a sweet little love story that is based on a very clever premise. Fun laughs. A surprise or two. And GREAT songs!

Not quite the toe-tapper/head-bobber that Bohemian Rhapsody was, but still some wonderful nostalgic moments to be sure.
