Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas
(2011)

It's Christmas in Ice Age too
There was both Madagascar and Shrek Christmas episodes, and now Ice Age.

Next year Ice Age is ten years old, as we met Manny, Diego, Scrat and on.

It's just another feel good Christmas story, but better than nothing.

After three Ice Age movies and some shorts, are Manny the mammoth and his friends back.

This time Manny and his friends meets Santa, as Scrat chases his acorn as usual while picking up a spider along the way.

Diego he gets his first song line along the way, and the new character are a smooth reindeer.

Christmas will be saved again, but Scrat keeps on looking for his beloved acorn this coming summer.

Buck from the third movie is not back in this episode, so maybe in next movie.

It's only around 20 minutes, but worth it.

This short is Annie Award nominated, and worth it.

Moulin Rouge!
(2001)

Spectacular!
'Moulin Rouge!' was one of the greatest movie experiences of this year, the acting was great, the songs and instrumental score are outstanding, the art direction and the costumes are brilliant, and Baz Luhrman did a good job for making another 'Moulin Rouge' movie, filled with drama, humor, romance, insane jealousy and tragedy. For the audience who love musicals, and 'Romeo & Julie', 'Moulin Rouge!' is really worth seeing, and even if that the movie slow downs at a time with the many love songs, there is a dramatic and exciting ending of the movie. Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor is a very nice pair in this movie, but even the two bad guys of the movie steals the scenes, and they does it nice too, with their flamboyant acting.

Shrek
(2001)

An outstanding fairytale!
When i saw 'Shrek' in my local cinema, i thought, this would be great, and it became great, the movie was shown in Cannes this summer, it would be nominated for best animated movie in the 'Academy Awards', and there's a sequel on it's way! A ogre, a beautyful, but tough princess, and a talking donkey takes out on a fantastic journey, and it becomes an unforgettable journey with dozens of jokes, many entertaining and unforgettable characters like the Gingerbread Man, fantastic battles, and realistic looking landscapes. Without any doubt, one of the biggest family movie highlights of 2001!
