Kimetsu no Yaiba: Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji
(2023)
Episode 10, Season 3

**Manga Reader Review
This episode focuses on Mitsuri Kanroji- The Love Hashira. Unlike the previous episode, she rightfully takes the spotlight in an episode titled on her.

A recap is played showing her amazing moves from episode 9. The way they have adapted Love Breathing, especially the 5th form, is so beautiful and makes Mitsuri so elegant. They perfectly captured her aerodynamic fighting style and with the effects work, it cannot look better than this.

I loved how they adapted Striking Trees and Compressed Sound Waves making the scale of this fight even bigger than the manga. The camera angles to show off different moves used is so unique.

The pacing in this episode is far better than what we have got.

That one scene where the camera rotates around Tanjiro and the burning wood is so amazing and that tells you how amazing the storyboarding this episode was.

As for Mitsuri's backstory, they really knew how to capture Mitsuri's struggle with her insecurities and how being around the people you love can change yourself and that it's important to know your own worth where Mitsuri isn't ready to changer herself for a marriage.

I love love how they extended a panel of Mitsuri and Obanai to a wholesome sequence.

The OSTs for Mitsuri by Yuki Kajiura is phenomenal!

And now if you know what's gonna happen in the next episode, you can understand my excitement for that moment.

Also, learn to form your own opinion and not agree to what Twitter Sakuga experts tell you who form an opinion before the episode releases!😂

Kimetsu no Yaiba: A Sword from Over 300 Years Ago
(2021)
Episode 3, Season 3

The tone shift is insane!
This episode picks up from where we left off in episode 2: Yoriichi Tyoe Zero. The comedy in this episode is even better than the previous one! Let's just take a moment to appreciate Haganezuka's beauty! Haganezuko just adds to the comedic element to this episode and I'm here for it.

We get an interaction with Genya and some foreshadowing at his powers, if you know you know. Tanjiro braiding Nezuko's hair was the cutest moment in Demon Slayer. We then have Muichiro is just as lost as he always is.

But then there's someone at the doors! One of the things that Demon Slayer does best is the tone shift. This can also be felt in Episode 1 after the Upper Moon Meeting. The way the atmosphere changes from a comedic element to a horror scene. I would not say much about what happens next but I am astounded by the quality and how unique they are. The animation is out of this world for real. Even the OSTs have a horror element when Sekido is introduced which truly terrified me. I mean just go an watch already!

The fish monster as expected was CGI but a good one. Just watch on Crunchyroll in HD and you'll love bug don't cry seeing it in 144p clips.

Demon Slayer's cliffhangers are the best that keeps you wanting more and it just gets crazier from here!

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yoriichi Type Zero
(2021)
Episode 2, Season 3

Type Zero
We directly pick up from where we left in Episode 1- Someone's Dream.

Proceeding, we are introduced to Yoriichi Type Zero. We are now getting deeper into the Demon Slayer lore with Kotetsu mentioning a swordsman from Sengoku period and the inherited memories. I love how they maintain the mystery around this man and how important he is.

Ufotable perfectly captured movements of a centuries old Mechanical Doll that is on the verge of breaking down and still emphasising on its power that still gives a tough competition to Muichiro- a Hashira.

The episode picks up a comedic tone and knowing what's to come in the upcoming episodes, it was a good episode atmosphere wise.

I live for the dynamic that Kotetsu and Tanjiro have with each other :)

Top-Notch
I've already watched this episode 3 times in theatres and I still can't get over it!

We start with the meeting and the eerie music that starts playing set chills down my spine and goosebumps of course! The way they take Akaza through the Infinity Castle and the places where we will see Doma and Kokushibo fight, loved the way they did it. I'm amazed by how imaginative they were with introducing every new Upper Rank Demon. They did justice to the Upper Moon Meeting. To keep us engaged in the story, we are introduced to Yoriichi and they perfectly portray the mystery around this man!

For the Village part, I feel they elevated how the manga introduced the village to us with all the character interactions, this couldn't get any better. They perfectly captured the vibe of the village. Amazing Episode!

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Never Give Up

Episode 17, Season 2

Peak.....Peak......Peak!!!
Y'all, this felt like a movie more than the Demon Slayer movie itself! This just shows us that how far Demon Slayer has come. Start to end: Hype! Do I even need to speak about the animation?! The OSTs are so amazing to hear. Voice actors really went all out!! Every moment from this episode is a scene of beauty. Godspeed, Mark awakening, Uzui and Inosuke's flashy comeback; these moments speak for themselves. They, in their individual entirety, are a thing of beautiful. Gyutaro's rage really came through. The parallel between the Kamado Siblings and the Shabana Siblings was beautifully presented through Tanjiro's monologue. I think what Nezuko said is truly under-looked and everyone should learn from it. I did not expect to for Gyutaro to turn into a literal blast of blood sickles. I'm sad that it's ending but grateful for what it is. Last episode, titled: No matter how many lives!, has a runtime of 45 minutes. We will get a look into the siblings past. Looking forward to it!

That being said, it's really sad and annoying considering some people are rating this 1 star without watching the episode. Ufotable is putting their best staff on this episode which includes Shirai(directed episode 19; his long awaited comeback to Demon Slayer), Abe and Kunihiro. Respect their work!

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Defeating an Upper Rank Demon
(2022)
Episode 16, Season 2

Damn these episodes keep getting shorter!!
New powers unleashed!! Tanjiro with the mix of Hinokami Kagura and Water Breathing. Zenitsu with eightfold. Inosuke with the beast breathig. Animation and music in the episode is top-notch as always. Loved the anime exclusive scenes of Tengen with his Wives. And damn the last five minutes! Hope they make it out alive, especially Tengen! We have a great news, the last episode on 13th February will be of 40-45 minutes as they added 15 minutes to the allotted broadcast time of Demon Slayer in Japan.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Gathering
(2022)
Episode 15, Season 2

The Shabana Siblings in action!
This episode was bonkers! The monologues were well delivered. I always like to see some Zenitsu action, this episode delivered it. The fight between Tengen and Gyutaro was mad amazing; animation, top-notch. Tanjiro is back with the water breathing this time around. Inosuke is ready to defeat the worm woman! Well, how many times is Daki going to surprise us with her transformations! Hinatsuru came to save faces as well. Rengoku deserved to live longer, his presence in this episode truly brought an emotional touch to it. And damn that cliffhanger!!

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Transformation
(2022)
Episode 14, Season 2

Oniichaaaaaaaaan!
Well, what do I say? What an episode! This episode was full of twists and turns. A whole roller coaster of emotions. It really made me cry. The two siblings' bonds that they are portraying from two different angles is truly amazing and haunting. There's definitely more to the demons' past. Can't wait to see what's next for our team!

Also, those who are giving it one star, what do you really criticise this anime for? You all don't really have a point to criticise it and still do. Don't come with the cliché- this anime is carried by animation itself, plot is mid. Well, look at the story and surprises Demon Slayer is giving us. And your one star rating is truly a disrespect to the staff at Ufotable who work their asses off for these amazing episodes. They truly don't deserve it!

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Layered Memories
(2022)
Episode 13, Season 2

It's only uphill from here!!
Layered Memories turned out to be one of the best episodes of Demon Slayer, if not the best! The animation, the sound, and the episode's plot was on point. The siblings went all out!! Daki's true form surprised me as well. I know one thing for sure, after all these episodes, it's only uphill from here!

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Things Are Gonna Get Real Flashy!
(2022)
Episode 12, Season 2

It's really getting flashy!!
They finally bring Uzui's wives and their characters are amazing! The food storage cave really surprised me. I didn't expect Tengen to be this gentle with his wives! The story of the episode was amazing, the animation and the sound as well.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Tonight
(2021)
Episode 11, Season 2

The fight begins!
Let's address the haters first! I know Demon Slayer is doing better than your favourite anime and this is an open platform; all the haters are writing these unnecessary responses, keep it to yourselves. There are so many other anime which deserve 1 star and not this one!!

The episode was so good! We get a glimpse of how powerful Daki is! We also get to know about her supernatural powers. Damn... Uzui is fast!! After three episodes, we finally get to see Daki in action against our boy Tanjiro. The fight towards the end sets an amazing hype and tone for what's to come in the next episode.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: What Are You?
(2021)
Episode 10, Season 2

An awesome introduction to the antagonist!!
I love how they introduced Daki- The Upper Six. I loved the whole vibe of the episode in general that it created. The music, little stories about Daki: about her head tilting habits and adding hime as a suffix to her name and the animation. It gets you so engrossed in it that the episode felt shorter than usual. Also, the ending scene with Zenitsu took me by surprise. He's definitely in trouble. Daki's character design is top-notch. Looking forward to the next episode- 'Tonight'!

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infiltrating the Entertainment District
(2021)
Episode 9, Season 2

A good introduction to the district.
This episodes very well introduces us to the district. It's quite funny as well. I am an only anime watcher, so the ending took me by surprise. It was an amazing episode. Must watch!!
