This film took me back to my childhood, when horror was subtle & implied instead of relying on graphic, visual images that current horror films rely! The subtle, implied terror is much more dynamic than current representation of horror, because my imagination is more creative than the HOLLYWOOD idea of horror! I saw PSYCHO as a 7 year old at the drive in ( what were my parents thinking?) The constant references to the 50s are appreciated, because they remind me of a time when we .didn't lock our doors, but still enjoyed scary shows like TWIGHLIGHT ZONE, THRILLER AND OTHERS! Does anyone remember those idiotic appliance commercials? It was common to refer to a refrigerator as a FRIGIDAIRE.... I refused to respond. Typically I don't like period films, but this one hit the spot!

Regardless of my personal or political opinions I found this film to be accurate! Many friends of mine (Marines, Army Rangers & Navy Seals have reiterated the same stories.....and nobody has returned the same (or intact). They felt before deployment!; God bless our military & please hold them in our prayers!

Most Americans are ignorant of our involvement in Iraq OR Afghanistan because US MEDIA provides politically inaccurate news regarding THE WAR! The US portrays this conflict as something other than a WAR! This continues to be a WAR, despite what US DOD insists! The US GOVERNMENT COMTINUES TO ASSAULT OTHER COUNTRIES!

Without question I've never seen a better film! Mark Rylance absolutely drove this production because of his talent & experience, but the other actors were extraordinary as well. Despite taking place in one location, the plot, dialog & performances propelled this production "off the charts" in my opinion. I've never been so intrigued by a story before, because the synopsis really didn't pull me in.....I took a chance & was rewarded by a magnificent, intriguing story that captivated my interest throughout! This is something I'll watch again, because it's mesmerizing!

The attention to detail is important regearding behavior as well as props,. & setting. Well worth my time!

The HOLOCAUST is never a pleasant subject, but this extraordinary film offered me the opportunity to view this subject from a different angle. The acting was excellent & the screenplay was able to portray the feelings of both of the central characters well! Initially I was very upset by the conversations & behavior displayed until I realized that in an odd way it offered me an opportunity to better understand history. Throughout history sociopaths have lived amongst us & we should realize that everyone is capable of horrific acts in certain situations! Although I continue to think about this film & be disturbed by the subject matter, I'm glad I stuck it out until the conclusion! An important portrayal of an important historical event that occurred before my birth!

This series is excellent for viewers who don't require a high octane, non-stop action thriller! This ensemble of quality actors is excellent because it provides an intriguing look @ actual police procedures that Hollywood typically ignores in favor of fantastically ridiculous, over the top representations of how crimes are actually investigated! These screenplays, locations, dialogs and locations are more authentic than anything I've previously viewed. PRIME VIDEO doesn't offer the opportunity to rate this great series....thus it doesn't offer customer ratings....shame on AMAZON because this is a series to not be missed! I've really enjoyed season one and half of season two. Give this wonderful show a chance!

Initially I passed on this because of the weird title, but I was hooked immediately from the first episode! An intriguing show caught my attention & carried me through. Nothing slow or boring here because the acting, screenplay & production values are excellent! I adore a great mystery, & haven't ever been disappointed 🙃. I loved the unusual, bizarre aspects of this dynamic series, & wish there were more offerings like this to satisfy my appetite for "the strange" ! Really a worthwhile use of my viewing time. Thankyou AMC!

Almost a Sci-fi feel if it weren't for the fact that I find it so familiar!

My favorite episode of all time! I was especially fascinated by this particular theme because the BBC really knows how to portray the "SPY GENRE" well. Unfortunately the sound volume was erratic & CC was uncharacteristically unavailable. Also couldn't download for easy reviewing . The storyline held my attention thoroughly with it's mysterious details & I'm rewatching now to catch missed details because it's stuffed with plot twists! Love this series.

A weirdly different, somewhat sluggish zombie film. The first half was relatively slow, but revealed a backstory that was certainly pertinent to character development. And then it accelerated & the fun really began! The actors were mostly unknown to me, but were very talented & engaging. Viewers who crave non-stop action & special effects might prefer a more idiotic representation of the "apocalypse", but I really enjoyed the slow buildup to this surprising conclusion! Remember that in 2011 the U. S. Department of Defense actually developed & published a protocol for a "zombie apocalypse" ! I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

After learning that this film's stars were Bette Midler & Billy Crystal I knew it would be excellent 👌! Full of gut busting laughter plus important life issues. This film demonstrates my issues regarding HOW many parents raise their children! I've been told " it's none of your business " ,but eventually children become adults & affect everyone they encounter! This was funny, but also addressed poor parenting 😢. This movie is a "keeper" for my library!

How could anyone not love this film? I think that everything about this film is great! I'm watching this late in the game, but am really enjoying the action, acting & absolutely EVERYTHING about this movie because it hits me in my heart & I enjoy & appreciate this scenario! No complaints from this novice watcher!

This psychological thriller was far better than I'd anticipated from posted ratings! The plot was slightly far fetched, but after all it is a movie & certainly did entertain me throughout. The lead actors were unfamiliar to to me, but their portrayals of their characters drew me in so much that I found myself rooting for them during the final scenes! I was glued to the screen until the film's conclusion, and happily surprised and satisfied that I chose to watch!

I'm seriously disappointed because this IS NOT WHAT PREVIEWS IMPLIED! My complaints aren't what most other reviews portray! This series is blase because it wasn't exciting or even mildly thought provoking. I'm not concerned with the idiotic criticisms of other reviewers who nitpicking minor details! I was looking forward to HUGH STRANGENESS after viewing previews & bonus features. THE ONLY MYSTERY IS THAT I CONTINUED TO WATCH 8 BLAND EPISODES WITHOUT EVER FEELING SATISFIED! Poorly executed without any payout! BOO AMAZON!!!!!😩

Finally an AMAZON series with excellent actors (SISSY SPACEK AND J. K. SIMMONS) who deliver an intelligent,, intriguing look at the unknown! Not for the "BABIES" who require nonstop action, CGI or a plot that moves along at high speed! Everything is fascinating for me & drew me in immediately! For intelligent adults it provides stimulating & ongoing fascination at a gentle, magnetic pace! Avoid this if you require constant stimulation, because this is a cerebral, thoughtful series for intelligent ADULTS 👌!

A clever & thoroughly delightful story with well placed humor! "TOP SHELF" acting, extraordinary dialog and visually stimulating. I haven't been this entertained by a production in decades 😂. I knew that great film makers still existed & THANKYOU....it's about time! Makes me remember that anything is possible.

Babies won't understand this, but viewers who "GET IT" might realize their purpose & be inspired to fulfill their potential 😉! OPEN YOUR MIND & ABSORB THIS EXCELLENT SERIES. I'm only 3 episodes in, but certain I won't be disappointed!

Some parents may think this excellent film isn't appropriate for children, but it provides an opportunity for discussions on many levels! Todays kids are more savvy than adults realize because they're ALWAYS listening & now have enormous access to information. This extraordinary production addresses many issues in today's world that should be discussed in a safe setting 👍. Having worked with horses & at risk adolescents my entire life, I was impressed with the thoughtful approach presented! The acting was incredible and my emotions went on a Rollercoaster ride even after a 2nd watch in years Keep your tissues handy!

A dynamic film full of action, suspense & mystery! Excellent acting on the part of Angela Dixon portraying an unusual sort of action heroine while operating within a backdrop of visually stunning locations. Like nothing I've ever watched before, I found this film to be exciting & mesmerizing. Not a movie to casually view because it's content is so complex that I really felt the need to commit my full attention! Great screenplay that certainly grabbed my attention & dealt with a very sensitive, real issue.

This film has it's faults, but they don't involve the skills of the actors,the plot OR the locations! Certainly not a Hollywood blockbuster, but that's exactly why I enjoyed this movie so much. Without special effects it was capable of portraying exactly what was needed to engage the viewer! Isolation, fear & hopelessness prevailed, while at the same time demonstrating the strength maintained by a group of survivors who refuse to give up! Never boring for me, I was intrigued & engaged by this ragtag bunch of young, creative individuals. Excellent watch & well worth my time!

I enjoyed this film because it was extraordinarily funny for a B MOVIE! I appreciated the simplicity of this movie because it was low-key & still maintained humor. As previously reviewed by others, I had low expectations, but thoroughly enjoyed myself & experienced many laughs 😃! Simple doesn't necessarily mean bad! Everything was acceptable, including acting, sets and "special effects" ! WHAT A HOOT FOR ME & A GREAT WAY TO SPEND MY SUNDAY!!!

After watching this film I became a fan of ANSEL ELGORT because his portrayal in this movie will always impress me regarding his skill as an excellent actor! After multiple viewings I still appreciate his acting skills AND enjoy what I consider his support actors, including KEVIN SPACEY because the action is excellent & the character development continues to intrigue me! Never before have I totally been so focused on a plot-line and final outcome! Everyone involved provided fascinating & beautiful portrayals of the central characters and gotten me SO INVESTED In a movie plot until it's conclusion! This continues to be something I'll watch repeatedly for action, intrigue and satisfaction!!!!

I can't remember the last time I so thoroughly enjoyed a film so much! Everything delighted me & carried me away to the point that I forgot I was watching a film....seriously! I became SO INVOLVED that time seemed to slow down & I felt like I got my "money's worth" because I never felt bored or distracted! Acting & production values were excellent 👌! This is a "keeper" that I'll definitely enjoy again 😀. KUDOS!
