Alot of people are recommending this in the reviews which had me convinced and I ended up watching it.

Not an utter disappointment , its watchable but honestly its no way on earth worth the hype people are creating.

I enjoyed talk to me and evil dead rise much more then this one. This is nowhere near as fun as those films so now its up-to you to decide if you want to watch it.

Good Things: The sound, some creepy moments. A few good scenes. Beautiful women. Yes the two main nuns are good for the eyes.

Bad Things: Crap story, stupidly told. Unbelievable predictable plot. Bad cgi, bad depiction of The devil. Overall a meaningless movie. A Rosemarys baby wanna be ripoff at best.

The battle scenes are epic but without any kind of context or narrative.

Everything in this movie is a meaningless watch. Its as if a couple of random scenes are being played one after another with no story. No emotion. They are not even explained properly. Someone who is not familiar with napoleons history will all out within half an hour cause they wont know what the f is going on.

Napoleon was showcased as being an idiot. How an idiot like that as per depicted in the movie became an emperor of a nation just doesn't make sense.

Where is that military genius? Where is that charmer who talked a nation into following his will?? This is a complete wrong portrayal of Napoleon.

Josephine Josephine josephine they didnt even get that part right. Its a stupid relation. No character building. Very bad , very very bad.

Oh what a movie this could've been with epic battles military and political tactics. A charismatic napoleon....

It was all wasted. A mess of a movie.

I think its better to not got to the movies and waste your money on this one. I never thought I would say that for a ridley scott film but it is what it is.

For the first time I am seeing Leonardo Decaprio play the role of a character who is somewhat dim witted - not his usual sharp smart personality. But he played it beautifully.

Other characters were good but some of the acting of the side character didn't feel on point.

The story is a good one, worth watching but it feels like it centers around one family only. I hoped for a much broader picture that includes many cases of many families and overall situations and crimes against the osage people as a whole.

The story is not told on an epic scale but rather it shows just one case. There should've been more back story and other incidents. This is the only thing I didn't like, other then that everything else is mama Mia.

Jason tried to act!!?? And failed horribly. This was probably the dumbest movie i have watched in a long time. The first half under water scenes were actually ok. If they had written a well thought script and proper dialogues it could've been something great actually. But unfortunately the writers must have been drunk. So yeah the writing is horrible. But scenes are visually appealing. The film goes downhill after they go up in the surface. It feels as if the directors, writers all passed out at this moment and put whatever the hell they wished and released it as a movie. If they had done this last part right this could've been an ok movie so yeah overall its just not worth it. A waste of time really.

The quality of the movie is just as expected from christopher nolan. Extremely well structured and top class.

Everything is great about the movie, the acting is top notch. Sound design is just out of this world. The theatre was shaking from the sound design. I have a feeling that nolan specifically chooses these frequencies of sounds which will cause the most vibrational effect and physical shake. The explosions felt like a friggin earthquake or blast wave was about to hit me and i was actually experiencing a real bomb.

That was the best part of it in the cinema. But there are no spectacular visuals in this movie. I was expecting to see a scene with the dropping of the atom bomb or some war scenes at the very least. But none of that is there.

Its a very intelectual movie mostly filled with talking and drama. Dont miss it! But there is no need to go to the cinemas. Watch it from home.

I was very doubtful before going in. But somehow ended up going anyways. What followed was two hours of bore fest with 10 minutes of content which may have been somewhat enjoyable.(spread out through the movie ).

I hope this review will help anyone who is deciding whether to go to the cinema and watch it. The answer is a hard NO! Dont waste your your money and time going to watch this.

Here is a quick recap,

Unrealistic meaningless story. Extremely poorly written without any attention to detail.

CGI is BS. Bad camera movements. Bad action sequences. The talent of the actors were not utilized by the director.

Cinematography? Whats that??

Grand visuals? Whats that?

Good car chases? Nope. Physics does not exist in this world.

Poor sound design.

Poor story pacing.

Poor everything.

The good?

A few good jokes and 5-10 minutes of acceptable cinema.

So avoid at all costs unless you just don't care and don't mind watching poor cinema.

This is a great film to enjoy in the theatre. Amazing sequences, great comedy. Tom Cruise looks a little old and maybe he got plastic surgery but who cares he still got the moves.

The only downside maybe is that the story could have been stronger. By stronger I mean more towards realism and characters making smart decisions instead of chaotic ones. But I guess realism and intellectual thought provoking cinema is christopher nolans area. I am waiting for Oppenheimer for that.

Mission impossible was all about the thrill and with due respect it delivers a 100 percent on that promise.

Make sure you don't sit too close to the screen and spoil the quality of your experience . Take a good back or mid seat and enjoy the thrill.

There is no story. There is no good acting. There is no good sequence. There is absolutely nothing to enjoy here.

A couple of jump scares and thats it! Lots of messed up horror music to scare you. I mean who is not going to jump up if the music suddenly busts up to a 100 with horror ehhh uhhh grrrr demon sounds and something peculiar jumping up in the screen. This is it man. This is what the whole movie is.

I wasted my money down the drain. Please don't make the same mistake as me.

If your a horror fan try watching the new evil dead instead.

Anything else is good. The other options that are in the cinema right now are much better. The Flash was great, indiana jones was good. MI should be good too.

For me indiana jones is mindless action, thats it. If you want to get entertained then its an ok flick. Average at best. Dont expect to get filled with emotion and a movie to remember or something. I think I enjoyed the evil dead rise more because of the fun and thriller factor as compared to this one. If I am comparing mindless action movies that is. Better then fast furious although this is a bit about family too. Fortunately Harrison ford does not say the word family as much as vin disel.

If your looking for a story then forget it. I have seen this story a thousand times maybe? Tomb raider , national treasure, etc etc. Hero discovering a relic only to be snatched by the villan. The usual crap.

There were visulally appealing scenes. Specially the first part on the train and the ending ancient warfare scene. Thats the only good part of the movie. Dont waste your money going to the movies. Watch it at home. Spend your dough on Oppenheimer, john wick 4, dune. Whatever suits your taste! Not this. Save the bucks.
