Dossiê Urnas Eletrônicas
(2018)

Brazil was...
Mini-documentary produced in 2018 that shows the fragility of electronic voting in Brazil in terms of fraud attempts.

The Brasil Paralelo production team showed their courage and search for the truth by showing a subject that is considered taboo in Brazil. In addition to showing all the contradictions of those who defend the voting system used in Brazil.

It also shows a statement from presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro still in hospital, shortly after an assassination attempt was made on his life.

For this reason, the documentary and the Brasil Paralelo team suffered persecution and censorship from the electoral courts and the mainstream media.

Senna
(2010)

Senna
Documentary with excellent editing and rousing soundtrack that takes Senna's career through epic moments. As some critics said, a true action drama. Another positive point was not hiding the spiritual side of the Brazilian driver, one of his main characteristics.

However, the documentary suffers from some script errors. It leaves out some important moments of Senna's career, like the almost zero appreciation of the 1993 season, and some duels with Alain Prost, for example in the San Marino of 1985, the first between both.

In the end it is clear that it is not the definitive work on "Magic" Senna.

A Viagem
(1994)

Overrated
Only for those who are adept of the Spiritist doctrine that this telenovela can be considered good.

Several script errors, dialogues with meaningless sentences. The minor stories, as well as the supporting characters, do not excite. In addition to characters with no relevant role in the plot. Exaggerated advertisements for beauty products and a bank. From the first episodes everything is already clear, the revenge of a criminal against his three enemies. This story drags on until the end. Annoying. The main couple has no chemistry, as well as an absurd love story.

Of course, there are positives. Some performances are noteworthy; Ary Fontoura, Cláudio Cavalcanti, Andrea Beltrão and Laura Cardoso. The couple Téo and Lisa is the only one that draws attention due to their chemistry, although it is poorly used. Alexander's scenes in the "valley of the suicides" are also worth mentioning. Positive ending, showing the victory of good against evil and a pro-life message.

O Farol
(1991)

Highs and lows
Miniseries with great soundtrack and impeccable cinematography. Despite the potential of the story that was based on the short story "Light in the Storm", the adaptation was poorly done, especially if we take into account some silly and meaningless dialogue. Regarding the cast, very irregular, some very good performances (Sérgio Britto), others very weak (Vanessa Barum).

The main couple formed by Ângelo Antonio and Vanessa Barum has great chemistry, but it was not properly used.

1964: O Brasil Entre Armas e Livros
(2019)

Indispensable
Until recently, this type of work would have been unthinkable in Brazil. Brasil Paralelo is helping to enlighten Brazilians so that they know the truth of various moments in our history that have been completely altered by the national left in recent decades.

The period before the Counter-Revolution of 1964 is detailed by the Brasil Paralelo team to show that the tentacles of communism were present in much of the world, including Brazil. And that the military response, with the support of most politicians, the press and especially the population, as can be seen in the newspapers of the time, was necessary to prevent a revolutionary dictatorship in Brazil, and as the history of the 20th century showed, it would have devastating consequences in the largest country in Latin America.

Suave Veneno
(1999)

Underated
Unjustly cursed by the Brazilian media, Suave Veneno maintains the average of the vast majority of productions of the genre.

It has qualities, with good scenes, good performances and the first part of the work, with a good dose of mystery that holds the public's attention. Not forgetting its bad moments, with bad performances, disposable scenes and the second part of the story, it loses in interest.

The couple Regina and Adelmo stand out from the rest for the high chemistry of the actors, good musical themes, with an unpredictable ending until the last episodes.
