Well scripted, superbly acted and absolutely funny. I don't remember a movie in which legends of Indian cinema, Amrish Puri, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Johny Walker, Nasser and Kamal Hassan came together in a comedy.

It is a laugh riot, and it will make you forget all your worries for a moment.

There is nothing much to write about the plot. It is half baked and silly.

It is actually a musical. There is always some song playing in the background. All those songs are loud and generally speaking, terrible. It might probably appeal to people who lived through the 60s ("The music was better back then" a character says in the movie).

If you want to watch retro fashion and burlesque there are better movies.

If you want to watch psych horror, there are definitely better movies.

It is OK.

The story unravels in 3-4 episodes. Rest of the episodes are plain old crime- chase drama. Nothing outstanding. Not great not bad either.

There are subplots that exist for no reason. Like why do you even have the character of the right wing reporter and the politician? There is no bearing of it on the main story. Also, about how that spy was killed (and who killed him). There is absolutely no connection of that plot to the main story.

I don't understand how this series got such a high rating.

The first couple of episodes are fine. The premise is interesting. The atmosphere is brilliant.

Then you expect the horror/mystery to unfold.

However, nothing much happens. There is no story. There is nothing to unfold. It is not horror. It is not thriller. It is mostly pointless DRAMA.

They probably had material for a 90 min feature film which they decided to stretch for 5*4 20 hour television series.

Save your time and watch something more entertaining - like watching paint dry.
