I Do, I Do, I Do
(2015)

2nd time watching.
Its 2023 now. I'm watching it for the second time in the hope I've become less cynical . I havent. I first watched it one Sunday 8 years ago with my husband and 11 year old mildly autistic youngest son. My husband and I thought it was rubbish , our son liked it. Which was nice . But for me the acting is over the top, the concept ridiculous and makes you yawning wonder, if you're that bored, what happens in the future ? . Still the same old mother in law to deal with, and probably she wont be Impressed at the son swap. If you have young kids and nothing better to do on a rainy or snowy day give it a go. If you're in your 50's and intelligent turn if off and watch almost anything else. Sorry. Zzzzzzzz.

Your Place or Mine
(2023)

Hmmmm
I really wanted to love this. Really really, I love romcoms, it had a great cast, promising if cliched story, I still had high hope. Sadly I didnt love it, I barely liked it. And i have questions .............. if they are the best friends ever how have they never visited each others homes ? And also when Debbie can't get in touch with peter who is responsible for her son, being the helicopter Mum she is why is she not freaking out . Also it was waaaaay out of the blue the sudden romantic feelings for each other. It kinda came out of left field. I feel sad , I'd been waiting to watch this for weeks and then boom, the night of release arrived . I just felt let down 🙁

Rock of Love with Bret Michaels
(2007)

I'm obsessed!!
This is my favourite show ever! I'm still watching episodes , at least 10 times each, on youtube 15 years later ( December 2022). I had such a crush on Brett when the show was first broadcast, now I'm older I see him for the sleaze ball he is but I still kinda love him. My all time favourites were ashley and farrah on rol bus. I thought Daisy was beautiful ( have you seen her recently though, shes put on tons of weight , looks scruffy and unrecognisable) I thought she was perfect for Brett. He was such a hypocrite calling out ladies for having relationships, he was still part time with his baby mama. I'm watching talk of love with lacey on youtube now. Catching up with the cast .

Christmas in the Wild
(2019)

I'm overthinking .
I liked this movie, the scenery and animals were gorgeous. But I can't help picking some bits apart. A new Yorker ( or any sensible woman in my opinion ) wouldnt even get in a car with a strange man never mind hop in a truck with a bunch of them, then live in the middle of nowhere with them. Am I just being paranoid. ? And when pilot Derek stopped the plane i would be thinking ok I'm about to get murdered. Apart from that, it was a nice movie and killed a couple hours on a wet , grey Monday for me here in scotland. Makes me want to visit Africa, as I can imagine most viewers now do. And of course I want to adopt baby elephants now too but will just have to be content sponsoring them and donating.

Then Came You
(2020)

Loved it !
I'm scottish and I loved this film. I thought the acting was fine too. I dont know what all the hate is about. I met ford Kieran who plays gavin recently in glasgow and he was lovely. It was funny watching him after that. The scenery of course is gorgeous. The banter from Craig fergusson was realistic , you really do get cheeky wise arse men like that here. I like the story and the ending and everything in between. Theres really nothing I could criticise. Not much more to say coz I dont want to spoil the plot for anyone. I would recommend this film. Any woman watching, prepare to fall in love with mr fergusson.

Falling for Christmas
(2022)

Why cast a middle age actress ??
I'm honestly confused why they cast someone in their late 40s/ maybe early 50 even for this role.freckly, wrinkly, unattractive, flat limp.hair. It was confusing. The love interests were so much younger. It's all I could think about. It wasnt totally believable.. it wasnt a terrible film. Acting not brilliant but hey ho. Tad was reasonably entertaining. ............... this review needs a lot of writing apparently but I dont have much more to say. If you want a really good movie, watch a very merry mix up starring Alicia de witt. If you can. It's not on netflix but fingers crossed it comes on tv over xmas. ......
