A Very Overbearing Religious Carnival This feels like Dolly's version of a gospel album. I understand that religion is the reason for the season but I think this is not a story first movie. I felt overwhelmed with religious browbeating. This was definitely not my style of happily holiday movies. This "movie" felt more like a Dolly/Dollywood commercial than an actual movie. A notice at the beginning of each section should warn that this is an infomercial. The story writing is very poor and disjointed. The movie seems like it was written by choosing songs, writing a story for the section, and pasting the sections together later. This would have been better if the story was the first priority and the songs were integrated cohesively.
