The only people not liking this is the MAGA crowd because it shows what lunatics most of them really are. We all know they can't stand anything close to the truth so they are the only ones who don't like it. This fantasy thriller is as close to real life as can be, the only thing missing is someone portraying their orange God but it has everyone else. It has Evan Green in as close to a Tucker Carlson impression as can be. It has Green's "crazy conspiracy theory without any actual facts" fans that will go to any lengths, including a violent mob, to protect their leader...just like the MAGA crowd. It was hilarious when Green is in jail talking about putting his name and face on tshirts and hats because his crowd loves hats and tshirts. That's the MAGA crowd, they're the only people in history who wears clothes of their leader like a sports team. It's nuts. We also have Monica Kidder in the extreme right, crazy billionaire role who continues to promote extreme propaganda ala Elon Musk. Richard Dreyer is in the role of any top right politician who knows their side has lunatics but caters to them for their votes. This was a great political thriller in something that's so real that we can see it happening. Robert De Niro is a national treasure. As great as a person as he is an actor. We need to end the extremes on both sides and try coming back together.
