With a bit of editing and imagination this could and should have been so much better. A fascinating test of endurance but unfortunately the viewer was often left wondering at what stage of the journey Gerald was on as we struggled to eavesdrop on conversations between him and the support crew. Captions indicating location and distance would certainly have helped. It seemed, erroneously, that he was doing very little running/walking before collapsing into his portable chair again. Still interesting to those who like this sort of documentary though especially those of us who enjoy a bit of fitness running but would never contemplate undertaking a challenge as gruelling as the Badwater 135.
