The Muppet Christmas Carol
(1992)

Great muppet/Christmas movie
Ok before I start this review I must say that I didn't like Muppet treasure Islant,Muppets from Space,Muppets takes manhatan or any other muppets movie. BUT this one is diferent and i think to compare it to the other muppets film would be a crime. You see the main diference with that film is that Michael Caine dosn't play scrooge for Kids (Like tim Curry played Long John Silver in Treasure Island or all other human played in any other muppet movies but play scrooge like in the book.Mikael Caine after that film you earned my respect,I was twelve when I whent to see this film and while I was watching it I didn't feel once that you were acting the part thinking I was a kid and it wasn't important giving your best to the role.He was great and the film was good mostly because of that,he acted so well around the muppet that you nearly forget that that his costars were mostly muppets. The humour was light and didn't take away from the story, which is a welcome change from space or treasure were the muppets are just too loud and crasy. Gonzo was at his best in that film and look more like the gonzo we love from the tv show than the moaning Alien (Horible idea that was to tell the world gonzo was an alien it was better when nobody knew what he was) you see in Muppets from Space.Ignore the other muppets film just watch this one.

Michael Landon, the Father I Knew
(1999)

Very bad movie.
I find that film terible,it was like landon jr was trowing his angers over his dad at us the audience. It was like listening to a a teenager moaning for two hours. And it's not this terible movie that gonna make my opinion change about Michael(Sorry Landon jr)Landon ,we are talking about a man that made the best television shows ever and brought smile to familly all over the world and that's what count not that his son had somme problem with him,H.E.L.L.O everybody have problems with their father the only diference is that they are not rich.

Little House on the Prairie
(1974)

The best and most touching show ever made.
I love that show,I grew up with it,I saw all the episodes about twenty times.Michael Landon was a marvelous man he knew the how to make the show works and to touch audience all over the world. The casting was perfect. The music was great, all the characters had their theme song. If only we could see more about the little house actors now because they were more talented than somme actors you get on television drama now.Mattew Laborteaux was a great actors especially in the episode I'll remember you and Fagin and who could ever forget Scottie Mc gregor and Alyson Amgrim as Hariet and Nelie Olson. My point is that THEY DONT DO SHOWS LIKE THIS ANYMORE and it's sad, they did try to copy it with Dr queen but still it wasn't the half as good. I am hoping one day of somme sort of a reunion even if I know that it wont be the samme as the great Michael Landon died and that many of the others actors did too.

Camp
(2003)

Not good,not bad.
I went to see Camp and didn't like it very much, worse than that I felt very stupid that I whent to see it because this is clearly a film for gay people and well the thing is I'm straight so I was very bored indeed. I was fooled by all the critics that called the movie the "new Fame",This movie is not even close to be as good as fame but it is obvious that the director was trying very hard to copy it. The worse thing is that I really wanted to love that film ,I wanted to see a young talented cast in an involving story about a camp for wannabe Actors/singers but what I have seen is a film about gay kids. Dont get me wrong the cast was good and they were great singer and thats the only reason I stayed until the end of the movie,I wanted to ear all the songs. But this film is far too campy so much that I think that the film was called camp not because the story is set in a camp but because it's so campy. I got really frustrated because it was a big cast but most of the actors were nearly just there to hide the fact that it's a film about being gay. It's very sad because I wanted to know a bit more about them who even if they had VERY little to do were interesting like that lonely sports teacher and that kid he was desperate to convert into sports or the dance teacher and the very young boy he was training or even that girl who had her mouth locked but they were all very unfairly ignored. I have nothing against gay people but the film was only about and for them. But the film aside, all the cast members were great,I hope to see most of them in something were they could truly shine, they deserve it.

The Good Thief
(2002)

I don't think it got all the credit it was due because it was turned in France. Then the war broke out in Iraq
Excellent entertainment and acting on the part of Nick Nolte he was at his best. The character he played was very attaching. I don't think it stayed long enough in the cinema here in Ireland which was a great pity. I had seen the origenal french version, and I honestly think this one was better.
