This is a very good show. Emma Corrin is amazing as the protagonist, perfect casting. The atmosphere, ice cold, swallows you in. We get to see a show that has drama, mystery, and good acting in it. I have seen almost all works of Britt Marling and Zac Batmanglij, (my favorite one being Another World). When I saw their names in this project, I knew it would be good, and I wasn't dissapointed. This may be quite different from their other works, but still the same elegant, beautiful, gripping story telling.

I can not understand the bad ratings here. Are we really watching the same show? Or are some people perhaps looking for a lightweight fast forward adventure style thing? This is not it people, please go watch something else and don't spoil a good shows ratings.

Edit : I have just finished episode 7, and I am so dissapointed. It had started so good, but towards the end so many illogical details, unsolved questions..The final episode is so bad ,it is almost humiliating to watch. Sorry.

I love this series. There is something so real and sincere about it. After each episode I end up sitting silently there, remembering those same feelings and situations I myself had been in, not with a celebrity of course, but with the real people of my own life. She knows how to touch your soul, whilst putting a smile on your face. It is like therapy sometimes. Everyone is acting superbly, and the music at the end of each episode is wonderful. I have just finished season 3, and I do hope there will be many more seasons to this charming series. It is so warm, cozy and down to earth. Thank you Rose Mattefeo ..

I honestly don't get the bad reviews, it is a decent and well acted show. The atmoshpere is mystic and absorbing, the story is interesting,and all in all I have enjoyed all three episodes so far.

Younger audiences like fast paced and action filled thrillers,which is not the case here, this is a slow burner,but a good one.

Shahmaran is actually a mystic figure in the center of an epic tale. If you know about the tale, most of the the mysterious and weird looking pieces come together right from the start, and it is a much more enjoyable story for the viewer.

By the way, it is not fair to rate so low on a show, when you don't know what to look for when rating.

The first season was just ok and even a little too slow, dragging the story. But season 2 is a real delight! I wasn't expecting the second season to be this good. Highly recommended.

I have just finished watching this amazing series, and I must say it was a real journey. This is a very good drama, about the evil in human nature, about slavery, and terrible,horrible injustice, but also about love, kindness, hope, deception, cowardness, about good and bad, and about endings and new beginnings. Don't miss this gem.

This documentary was better than The Vow. Thank you India Oxenberg, for so honestly sharing your experiences . I have enjoyed this documentary very much, it was a journey through a young woman's sincere experiences ,it was very intense, disturbing at times, but I definitely have learned much about cults from it.

Thi is one of my favourite films. I have just finished watching it the second time around after 4 years. It is dark, it is intense, feels very realistic and makes you look for clues until the amazing final, which even in the last minute makes an unexpected difference to the whole story. A very delicous thriller for grown ups.

Emma was well acted, funny, authentic and beautiful. I enjoyed it very much. Anya Taylor Joy is an amazing actress, all actors were really good,perfect casting. The cinematography was perfect, the costumes, the detail, the music all were really good. I can't understand the bad reviews, don't be discouraged by them.

Jodie Comer is just amazing. Everyone on the show is amazing. There are so many layers from thriller to drama to comedy to politics and it leaves you with a feeling of having just had a slice of a very delicious cake. This is one of the best shows on tv!

It is a decent, enjoyable, well acted series. I quite liked it.

I am upset because I have been wanting to see this mini series very much. What is this with that shaky camera work? It was impossible to watch. What are we, 10 year old kids to get excited over a wobbly screen? .I am so very sorry for everyone who worked and invested in this series, the camera just ruins it all.

I was not going to watch Messiah, the bad reviews had discouraged, I didn't want to spend my time on 10 bad episodes. Then, I noticed that although the critics had rated it very low, the wievers have rated it very high! So I gave it a try. And I was blown away by how good this show is! Watch and see for yourself. It is a multi layered, thought provoking, intriguing drama/ thriller, fair to all cultures nations,conflicts and religions it deals with. Just brilliant!

I don't understand the bad reviews, it is a very entertaining, funny, sweet movie. I enjoyed it, and I am glad I have seen it. It was a comedy people, sarcastic and absurd at times, that was how it was meant meant to be,I think some people did not get this.

I didn't know if I would like this show, I saw the high ratings and decided to give it a go..And I absolutely loved it! Amazing, so much fun to watch, and so wonderfully sweet in delivering even the sharpest messages. Shrill is different, fresh, modern. I definitely want a season 2.

I absolutely can not understand the bad reviews. I usually read a few reviews before I watch a show, and from what I read about this one, I wasn't expecting much, but boy was I positively suprised! It is a very multi dimensional, well acted,engaging series, don't miss it.

I can not understand all the bad reviews, I have enjoyed all four episodes very much. The story is good, the twists are unexpected and good, the acting is good, the cinematography is good..What else do people want? Nudity?graphic violence? Sex scenes? No, there is none, but there are clever twists,interesting characters,and a story that unfolds revealing things that make you say Wow that was good!

I was not expecting it to be this good,I really enjoyed all 4 episodes. The story is interesting,the acting is brilliant and the cinematography is just beautiful!I am eagerly waiting for the next episodes.When I compare Peaky Blinders to other popular TV shows that use sex,brutality and violence to shock the audiences and get high ratings(which they actually do)this sincere work is like needlework;fine,classy and detailed.The makers of this drama have not chosen the easy way,they have set off to make a first class period drama,that dares to be different.Cillian Murphy is at his best,I will even go as far as to say that this is one of the best performances I have seen of him.Sam Neil and Helen McCrory must be praised,all casting is perfect.Peaky Blinders sets high standards for other television dramas to follow.

The Killing started very good,and I was hooked all first season, it was a very dark,realistic,clever thriller. Although disappointed by the season finale I gave it 9 stars. But then came season 2,and with each episode I watched a good show being ruined by all that drama,too unrealistic most of the time,almost Hollywood style. I also have lost count of the red herrings.I started to think that they would make a season 3,then4- 5 and so on and we would never know who the killer was until each player in the show had her/his turn. What had started out as a realistic,dark and clever thriller almost turned into a soap opera.The finale though,was very good.They should have ended the Rosi Larson story with the season 1 finale,and told another story in season 2. Still,I enjoyed watching it,and I would give 9 stars for season 1, and 7 stars for season 2.

I don't understand the bad critics,it is a good movie. I watched it after I read the reviews here and was expecting something worse.I must say I was pleasantly surprised by Retreat. It is a psychological thriller,the acting is very good (Cillian Murphy is a remarkably good actor,but also Jamie Bell and Thandie Newton are a pleasure to watch)and the story kept me guessing until the end. Retreat slightly reminded me of 28 Days Later,but it is a totally different story and captivating in it's own way.I liked the pace and the atmosphere of the film,and I would recommend it to everyone interested in this genre. Retreat definitely deserves better critics and a better rating!
