Let Me In
(2010)

one of the best movies of all time
let me in is not your typical vampire movie, its much more than that. its also a love story mixed with pure rich drama, suspense, and weird romance. let me in is about 2 neighbors movie in a quiet town we don't know the characters till the movie's middle however if your looking for stab blood blood stab then your watching the wrong movie. this movie is really about two individual kids befriending each other despite the fact that the girl is well been 12 for a while, and a shy boy who's a loner. together they make the perfect couple in spite they're age and is able to make grown up decisions somewhat.

Now the performances: Kodi-smit mcphee gives an Oscar worthy performance as the shy kid and often bullied by teens. i think he bring caricature to his role and he's one of the best young actors in this decade. mcphee previously play in (the road) which in my opinion his performance in let me in tops his performance in the road. i think he will be the next jimmy Bennett. Chloë Grace Moretz from (Kick-ass) gives another strong and Oscar worthy performance as the girl who normal by day and vampire by night. what really made the movie is the 2 lead who were believable from the start of the movie till the movie's closing. thats why I'm giving this an 10/10 stars.

Born Killer
(1989)

a great send-off for fritz Matthews
fritz Matthews and Ted prior are my two favorite David prior regulars and they are really believable in born killer. this movie is of course ultra-violent in ways you can imagine however this one actually has a plot.

2 deranged convicts one being played by (in the most convincing and strong turn from his good guy roles) Ted prior. they escape from prison and all of a sudden interrupt a paint ball game going on nearby. there prior meets nick played by ( the amazing fritz Matthews in a final movie role/yet a strong performance). prior decides to pick on Matthews and his friends but when he cant take it anymore he decides to strike revenge.

this movie is not about paint ball gun, its all about brain-vs brawn the only play you can find this movie at is on amazon/ebay. director Kimberly Casey has a ideal potential on becoming a good director. this movie is an edge-on-your-seat thriller Matthews and prior are great in their roles, sadly fritz Matthews quit acting somehow, he could of gone somewhere with his career but i guess he wanted more opportunities. therefore if you like Ted prior then its a must-see

Death Chase
(1988)

AIP movie
i bought this movie off of amazon.com and i have a knack for AIP movies. ever since i saw William Zipp in operation war zone i wanted to see more of his work so this title came in mind. its cheesy stupid funny and dopey and i loved it heres the story: William Zipp somehow gets tagged into a game where random bad guys go after him for a gun and money. the only way to stay alive is to kill bad guys for money. there's plenty of action, fight scenes are good the ending could of been a little better but still rather enjoyable therefore thats why I'm giving this a thumbs up.

director David A Prior knows how to direct a movie with plenty of action in it however there's not a single standout performance in the entire movie the acting from the vast majority of the cast is terrible Bill Zipp is the only exception.

Coldfire
(1990)

alternate title: wings Hauser sits on his butt.
coldfire is a typical low-budget title that supposed to tell us about a drug that makes people go crazy instead it tells a story about 2 cops (kamar DE los Reyes and Michael easton from the one life to live fame)who are rookie cops who are out on the hunt for the people who created the drug coldfire.

the other actor is wings Hauser who supposedly the lead actor of this group instead sits behind a desk until the final 20 minutes of this movie. the acting from the two leads are good wings Hauser on the other hand is what you see as what you are going to get. the direction is not bad, not much action but sometimes humor and emotion. this film is rated:R for violence, sexuality/nudity and language. if it wasn't for Reyes and easton we will probably see wings Hauser sit on his butt all day.

Square Dance
(1987)

love it
a couple of years ago bought square dance at a video store on VHS and watched the movie from start to finish and i have to say this movie is very good but very underrated. let's start with the film debut of wynonna rider. i thought her film debut was very astonishing and to be considered a promising actress in that decade which she continued to promise more great performances up until her arrest for shoplifting years ago.

Jane Alexander and Jason robards were very affective in this film. last but not least rob Lowe's performance.

let's start by saying that his performance was very underrated however was nominated for a golden globe, i thought he should of got an Oscar nomination for his role as mentally in-pair gema now that's the hardest role Lowe has ever taken on. if you can find this movie on VHS or DVD go buy it!!!1

No Country for Old Men
(2007)

best performances from brolin ,bardeem, Jones
this is one of the most entertaining however confusing movies of 2007, this has Oscar written all over it.

the story begins where Javier's character is taken to police custody and suddenly breaks free from one of the police officers causing a graphic neck breaking scene. the story continues with josh brolin finds an stash of money in a local area, now the chases begins were Javier's character tries to find josh brolin's character but in between that and the graphic violence there's tommy lee Jones character comes in as the sheriff.

this movie is directed by the coen brothers who gave us raising Arizona, blood simple and Fargo. tommy lee Jones give a strong performance as the sheriff. josh brolin give an Oscar worthy performance, Javier bardeem gives an performance of a lifetime winning him best supporting actor Oscar. the movie is very suspenseful from the beginning however the ending left a whole lot of questions so if you like unexpected endings, see this movie.

Cover-Up
(1991)

Dolph lundgren's best
when i first bought this movie at the dollar bin at the video store, i wasn't sure how this movie is going to be but now i have to say, i'm a proud owner of cover-up.

Dolph lundgren's performance as mike Anderson was excellent. Lou gossett Jr give a good performance. john Finn from shows like Dawson's creek and cold case is surprisingly good. Lisa Berkley is sexy.

director Manny coto does a fine job keeping the story alive but there is a lit of bit lacking in the action department but this is worth seeing. i hope to see Dolph lundgren in more in the way of drama movies.

A Raisin in the Sun
(2008)

best of 08
first of all i want to say for the people who thought Sean combs was great in the movie. what movie were you watching!!!!!!!!!!!!!. first of all i want to say, the movie its self was very good.

also it send a very important message.

Oh yes the performances. i thought Sean combs establish himself as an serious actor i thought he gave an Emmy worthy performance. Rashad from the Cosby fame gave an very should add another Emmy to her name. the unrecognizable sanaa la than gives her best performance in her career, john stamos is know for bunch of TV movies was very funny but strong as usual. not to mention the little boy don't know his name but he was also good. i hope this movie comes out on DVD.
