A Decent Watch!
I couldn't get the tickets to watch this move in local theatre on two occasions. I am a horror fan and so I was a bit disappointed. But recently, I found this listed on Emirates ICE so, used the free to give it a go.

There aren't many Bollywood movies releasing in this genre which are also bearable to watch. So, the only impression I had about this movie was the houseful situation.

If you have a keen ear you can notice the background music within the first few minutes of the movie. Ketan Sodha has done absolute justice to the movie especially however, I did hear many chordations similar or the same as Hans Zimmer. You can't avoid such things but on the whole, the background music lifted the movie. Sachin-Jigar has also done a tremendous job with a couple of great upbeat songs, an intro song, a love melody though the song featuring Kriti & Badshah is easily forgettable.

The story is based on a ridiculous true phenomenon, not sure who decided which is ridiculous and which is not especially when it is based on real-life events. That aside, the movie has an excellent story, well written with a great mixture of horror and comedy which is a rare combination. The director has shown his skills in presenting the story in a well-balanced fashion.

Acting of Rajkummar, Shraddha, co-actors and not to forget Flora is just perfect. Funny scenes between Rajkummar, Aparshakti, Abhishek and Pankaj with excellent dialogues were simply hilarious. The movie takes advantage of down to earth approach which is essential for all true life-based movies.

Unfortunately, there are some imperfections too. Especially, about an old mansion that no one ever been to. However, as this is a real-life based such things can be ignored.

Overall, I feel this movie is well worth your time and can be enjoyed with the horror fans. I do recommend you to watch it on a big screen with a soundbar/surround sound system. Enjoy!

A Wasted Opportunity
I just finished watching the movie with two of my friends weirdly enough in the UK. Unfortunately, the film disappointed all of us. Worst is I'm a fan of Chiranjeevi's acting.

Starting from the introduction of the Chiranjeevi scene onwards the movie has many issues, weak screenplay, mediocre music, and background score and last but not the least direction. Surendar Reddy mentioned in an interview that he was very inspired by the character after reading many books and gazettes however, he was mediocre if not worse guy to direct a movie of such a genre.

Chiranjeevi, as usual, has given an excellent performance. Sudeep, Jagapati Babu, Nayana Tara, Vijay, Tamanna and not to forget Amitabh Bachchan have all had a decent share of their performance. All the British actors definitely overacted compared to the likes of British actors from Lagaan. I can't really comment on the story as it is based on real-life events, but the flow of the whole movie was prolonged. It had too many unnecessary graphics which makes the audience disengaging. On the other hand, Amit Trivedi, a well known Bollywood music director, has failed to get the pulse of the Tollywood music lovers, I could hear people say its a crap music. And I personally observed background music and its a disgrace.

All in all, there is nothing exceptional about this movie if I'm honest, but if you're very bored then you can give it a try!

Crap
One of the most useless and terrible reality show that British bang on about.

Getting more sexual and revealing, however people are getting used to such sex based program. Racial hatred was the basis anyways and now put some idiots in a room and ask them to act as stupid as they can. Waste of my time. I wouldn't watch even if you pay me.

The house guests seem to never engage in intelligent conversations or to even discuss anything interesting. People don't realise the value of their time. The rules, anchors and participants all staged and fixed.

Only making people more foolish and strangely they're succeeding!

Illogical, Silly and Stupid Movie
Here is the movie with much hype and craze but offers very less in return.

The movie aims at comparing religious life (mostly Hindu) to practical life. The lead role tries to find his stolen object through the help of people, beliefs and God. In this journey he learns how God helps people in their wishes so he gives a try and becomes unsuccessful. So, he starts questioning the actual existence of God and it goes on.

Acting by Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma is good and there are few funny scenes. As with all Rajkumar Hirani's movies, the music is not great. Poorly written and shady screenplay are the weaknesses of this movie.

To be honest, it's a one time watch at the most or be a sheep and go with the flow.

5/10

Jhootha Hi Sahi
(2010)

Boring slow drama which leads nowhere!
Wanted to watch this movie since long time and finally, watched it over the weekend. The movie in the first place is not comedy and story is so illogical that you don't understand the movie.

John Abraham and A.R. Rahman both did a fair job. The actress is not up to the mark and she lacks facial expressions in many scenes across the film. The story of the film is very weak to be honest, it's a regular film nothing new. Director failed to show the love between the hero and the heroine and unnecessarily included much junk which is no way funny.

Couple of songs are good and the background score is okay. Overall, it's a drama you can ignore to save your precious time.

Srirama Chandrulu
(2003)

On the lines of Kshemanga Velli Labanga Randi......but is very funny!
Srirama Chandrulu is a very funny family movie. The story of the movie is very good giving main importance to the comedy element through out the movie. It is similar to the movie Kshemanga Velli Labanga Randi movie in the sense that it involves 3 middle class families and the attitude problem of the husbands. Dr. Rajendra Prasad with Bramhanandam creates great humour and the sentimental aspect in the climax is also very logical.

The music is average with a couple of good songs. The song "Jabili Lekapothe" is alright. This film provides a good laughter to the whole family.

A nice, weekend watchable movie! 7/10
