Twilight
(2008)

to the twilight fans!!
The movie "Twilight" was an ideal and unforgettable experience for any fans of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" novels. It was as compelling as the story and though everything happened quite fast in the movie unlike the novel, the characters were played stunningly by every single actor. Robert Pattinson was the ultimate "Edward Cullen," beautiful, strong, daunting and irresistible. Kristen Stewart was the perfect Bella, unlike other reviews I've read saying she can't act, those people are obviously delusional. Bella is your typical, clumsy yet ordinary girl next door type, she's not materialistic and she's not into the ladidadida of high-school or boys until one very peculiar boy comes into the picture. The props, scenery, location, effects and music were all absolutely exquisite and very faithful to the books. It is not just a typical teen-bop blockbuster but so much more, it appeals to both male and females yes even to the adults out there. It is the story behind Twilight and these remarkable characters which puts almost everyone in a coma… "Twilight is my personal heroin" I give props to Catherine Hardwicke who did an extraordinary job with the movie as well as the ideal cast who brought the characters to life on screen. This movie is definitely worth seeing at the movie theater, the 122 minutes fly's by. If you haven't read the books yet, please do!! You're missing out, and you're a fool if you are not a Twilighter.

p.s. lookin forward to New Moon!

Adventureland
(2009)

clever, witty, and absolutely enjoyable
So I saw "Adventureland" at an advanced screening and I found it to be quite entertaining and funny with a certain "real & genuine" vibe. It takes place in the mid-80's and involves a college grad played by fairly newcomer, Jesse Eisenberg who takes a job at a local amusement park to save money in hope to go to New York. Though the job maybe dreary; he finds himself having the best time of his life. I personally loved how director, "Greg Mottola" incorporated a few clever sequences one involving "weed cookies" which just made it diverse to other teen comedies. The music was typical 80's which also made the movie that much more fun! I particularly loved "Lou Reed." All in all the story and characters were enjoyable to watch and you can truly find yourself relating to them. It may not compare to movies such as "Superbad" comedy wise because it is much more of a semi "dark humor" type reminiscent to "Juno." Genuinely speaking, I personally really enjoyed this movie and would actually see it again with friends at the theater for a good time, which I can't say I would for the majority of other teen comedies out there.
