Imagine a mixture of Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson and some other crazy directors you can think of. Put some badass western to it, add an incredible story, writing, dialogue, characters, actors, music, cinemography, execution. Ethan Hawke was absolutely incredible, and with everyone else.

This show was a breath of fresh air for me. Being an admirer of Fargo, True Detective, The Handmaid's Tale, Mr. Robot and similar ones, I really think this show deserves and should get a much better score.

I loved every second of it and I rewind some scenes over and over again. I laughed out loud on some scenes, got mesmerized by others.

Give this one a shot. You won't regret it. Just watch it.

That is the sentence I read which got me to give this a chance and BOY I AM HAPPY I DID! This is not your Christmas fairytale, noooo sir. This is a badass movie with a lot of style, just the right amount of dark and blood, some badass acting throughout, great script, etc. Just watch it! Mel Gibson is doing some fine work lately (Along with Dragged Across Concrete). I am pleasantly surprised and I really feel like this movie needs to get a higher grade!

Possibly the best cinematography of all 4 seasons. It is oscar material. It is magical.

Before The Rain and this one are possibly the two best cinema creations from the country. Well done.

A very brave move from Sam Esmail, but he knew what he was doing. He knew it was going to be masterful. And it was.

I LOVE this show because of it's masterful way of how it is recorded, music, atmosphere, plot, actors, everything. But this episode... Man. Even with high expectations which I have for every episode, this blew my mind. It is a stage play for those of us who rarely go to some. A masterful one. What an art. This is what it is - ART. The actors, the atmosphere, the music... Last night a theater came to my room, and I fuc***g enjoyed every second of it, and I am not even going to theaters.

And the dialogue? I am thinking that this is why he decided to make it this way, so that we don't get distracted by other things. Damn, I am going to watch this again.

I just wasted 2 precious hours to go to a great Saturday evening because this thing was on, and it was quite intriguing, so I stayed at home.

Then, at the end of the film, they said that it is all fiction.

Why?

Why did you waste my time? Why?

I was wondering why a seeming fascinating documentary like this was not on National Geographic, and only after the thing ended, they say that it is not actually real.

Why do you play fairy tales on a documentary channel?

This is my first review on IMDb because today I got motivated to write one. All because this movie deserves a higher grade, but got low ratings from people expecting to see Star Wars or Star Trek when they heard that this is a SCIENCE fiction movie.

So before I start:

1. This is not Star Trek where small midgets run around with sharp ears and shoot among themselves with green and blue laser guns. So in other words, this movie is SCIENCE fiction. Star Trek is CHILDREN's fiction.

2. Thus said, probably the poor reviews came from people who were expecting to see a Star Trek movie.

3. Surprisingly great acting from a guy who came from a very shallow show like The Walking Dead. If you want to watch a bunch of pointless running around, explosions, hot chicks on bikes with laser guns killing zombies while standing on one foot and throwing fire through her ears, then don't watch this movie.

4. But you liked Moon, Interstellar, Sunshine, etc you will enjoy this. This is a very intelligent, well thought SCIENCE fiction thriller movie, and we need more of these.
