Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back
(1980)

Star Wars in it's Prime
This is the (in my Opinion) the the best of the Star Wars franchise ...... Love, Hate, Death, Rebirth .... it encompasses it all ... As far as the other movies are concerned (they have to FIX or manipulate) ... MEH ..

The Mandalorian: Chapter 10: The Passenger
(2020)
Episode 2, Season 2

Why?
I'm not sure what is going on in "hollywood" but this Mandalorian Season started off badly.... I mean c'mon man .... This isn't even Star Wars anymore ... it's just sad..... :(

UnMade
(2019)

Drunk History (UK etcetera) wrapped up in a Good! way
I forgot, the "peons" can't Rate can you/me ? I give this "clip" a .... and this is genorous ..... a " ... FROM WAT is shown, "7.7" i'd give a 8.8 but ... they aren't even drunk ... and ................ and....

This is, from what I've seen, a version of Drunk History (if that's how it actually plays). The problem with this is with "name brands".

Nobody wants to actually get drunk and spew on about things they think range in the brain. LOLZ. If this does work, it's another "spin-off" I feel of Drunken History (but with Less History). :)

Hope this helped!

btw, recent is also good, doesn't have to be History (even though it is by days or weeks)..... :)

G'luck!

PS: why can't I rank this.... hrmmmm :) (oh well) :P

Cold Pursuit
(2019)

Very entertaining...
I won't get into the whole "Liam Neeson controversy over statements made" yada yada...

This movie is good... Both funny and scary "in the actual way that murder scares a self-brained-individual"....

SPOILER ALERT~: each character gets their due Credit post-death... even in the ending......

That being said, I didn't like the way Laura Derns' character and Mr. Neesons' interacted. They seemed so in-tune, yet.... Just didn't seem credible. Watch it, you will see it.

Anyhoo. Good Movie. It almost starts to feel like a "Taken" at some points, then pushes the reality that "Getting too old for this sh!T..." :)

Watch... you won't be dissapointed.

Captain Marvel
(2019)

Meh.....
As far as Marvel movies goes... this isn't the worst...

Could have been done better, but, in hindsight, the editors had to battle all the 'bad' publicity that surrounded this and Endgame (via Brie Larson).

I haven't actually watched any Brie Larson movies (or have and not noticed her) so I have only been "biased" by her own words regarding "inclusivity, sjw etc etc" which I feel is getting just a bit out of hand nowadays (IMHO).

If you want to watch a Marvel movie and just escape for a while, this will suffice.

Note: I did like the way Brie uses her acting skills to show emotions etc. Kinda funny actually..... :)

Yeah... 5/10 (middle of the road)

Never Grow Old
(2019)

Very very very very good movie...
Up-front, yes, I am an old skool John Cusak fan from the 80's.... He has done tremendous work in the Industry. That being said....

If you want to watch a movie that will both terrify and inspire at the same time, this is one of them. I advised a friend that if he only watches one movie this year, let it be this one.

I won't spoil anything.... just watch this movie... you WILL NOT be dissapointed!!!

Supergirl: Solitude
(2016)
Episode 15, Season 1

Super"g"irl is still out of this world?
So I was watching this episode and I thought to myself, "Why do I want to watch this?". So, I then thought, is DC actually going to do a "Hail Mary" and be the 2 Bil merge with Marvel? Oh wait, did they already do it? ;D I would rate this ep, eh, a 6... They need (fx) to get more action shots in. I can count several that should have been better. Eh. Meh.. Don't like seeing a lead actor on a show led by a villain that used to run a hospital. Mr. Laurie.

This show rocks if you are new to DC. Marvel fans, well, just oobtooobe Superman vs Batman and you know how they look at DC. :D Enjoy! :)

PS: Oh wait, did I offend the SuperGirls out there? If you are reading this, even still, and feel you have something to offer, well then, send it in. Please don't send anything to me. Send it to IMDb. If you send it to me, you might not be able to fly on an airplane. Or you might not be able to leap a building. Buildings are to be leapt. Yes? :D

Ant-Man
(2015)

Et Al Paul Rudd ... Sex Symbolizer2themax.. ish... :D
8 For definite.

I want to focus on the star and money-maker, Paul Rudd, whom, I feel is a... dare I say, SEX-SYMBOL! Mr. Rudd is the kind of on-screen presence that oooooozes, yes, sexuality. Now, mind you, this type of nonsense is only seen by a handful of willing, paying, movie-goers. So, as I have stated and proved. Yes. Paul Rudd is sexy... symbol.

As far as this movie is concerned. The tie-ins to multiple future movies within this franchise will boggle the mind. I hate to say it but, I actually like the TV show Supergirl. Should I capitalize that G?

8 out of 10 definitely, an AWESOME family-ish pic to while away time that you should have been.... oh wait, that was Paul Rudd... :D

PS: Jaws is way bett3r with a fine piece of Great White jaw hanging on the wall in full view.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Yes Men
(2014)
Episode 15, Season 1

A Comedy Of Errors Part Deux
There were many errors of continuity within this episode... the most glaring when a blood pour out of the nose of a main. It was glaring to me... maybe nobody else. Otherwise... the little here and there things eh.. can be overlooked...

If A fan of Marvel's hero's.... it stil works (as well as goes onto the movies).

Should have made Stan Lee a regular with his 2 women on his arms...

Maybe he could be the ... "C" :)

I don't know who the "C" is yet... ... not an actual "C" person by name...

Have to watch to know.... :)

Awesome show that attempts to link all of the Marvel movies yet still gives it's own flavor.

The Seasoning House
(2012)

Mute girl abused and takes revenge
To start off, I give this a 9 out of 10 rating. This has to be on anyone's list of movies to see '12-'13. However, because I don't believe in ratings... I'd personally give it a 10.

From the beginning, which is horrible watching women herded like cattle to be 'things' in rooms for men to play with however they want, it then has flashbacks of the 'girl' tending to them and giving heroin to make the experience less painful (and it's painful).

Flashbacks to how her mother and sister? were killed and the man responsible. Typical villain setup. What I didn't understand is if she was put in charge of the house duties, why did she let herself be so unclean? Anyways.

She's a mute with a birth scar on her face witch intrigues the headmaster (killer). He makes sure they will comply with a gory outcome at the beginning. He takes her under his wing and shows her the ropes of how to control the girls and make them at ease (in a sick sort of way he's respectable as respectable in a kill-em world is). So she does her tasks and watches new girls come in and go out (usually dead).

The second half consists of her turning on the men (the guy that helped kill her mother) and doing a twisty maze through the innards of the house. It does work. Sort of. Guns have a way of penetrating things though so I doubt she would have made it without a shot or 2 (or 10).

The final showdown with her "savior" ends in just her and her nemesis. Which proceeds to a factory or something? Where all the big muscle men just give in to his authority as she cowers behind them begging. Pathetic to all men out there that would actually do this. Anyways... he gets stuck and you would hope she'd knife him right in the eye but lets him live..... ? Huh? Final scene she runs up to an old lady who just happens to be the wife of the doctor that cares for the girls at the, how can I call it? "F&^k house" "Whorehouse" "Beat a sluthouse"???? unreal...

But....

The saving grace is that the doctor is only shown briefly earlier and he feels misaligned with the powers-that-be.

I think she was saved in the end. :))

True Blood
(2008)

This isn't spoiler since season 1 was many seasons ago
What I still don't understand is this. How does any woman like the feeling of a cold hard object penetrating her? (Ask any woman and they will say no) Which begs the question. Does Sookie like a hard, cold object penetrating her while she gets blood drained (maybe they negate each other?)? There are just so many plot-holes and character-holes in this show that I wonder if I want to continue on to season 2.

And another thing that I noticed about Sookie which is that she always wants to 'do things her own way' no matter who she affects. Almost selfish in some ways.

And as far as the whole 'LGBT' movement that I've heard backs this show, if you can't see it, then you are blind. It's so apparent in so many angles that it is almost absurd.

Blech.. JMHO :)

Star Trek
(2009)

A Twist of All Twists
I honestly told all of my friends this "If you aren't a Star Trek fan of episode II .... don't even bother. They will rip and shred and tear it all apart...." After a few months of this movie being out, I finally watched it on blu-ray.

Beyond the... I can't even explain it... the... lensing? The sun-in-your-eyes effects? It's actually a good movie! If you can get beyond the whites (major blaring whites) and the sun-effect in every scene which takes place in the "main room" which is the "bridge"... then I suppose this "MAY" take a place in the Star Trek Universe. Having not read any other books other than the one book where the Intrepid was introduced, and yet watched every single episode of the Original Star Trek and all of the movies to date....

It gives me pause....

What is the original motion of everything Star Trek? This movie makes a stand. Takes the Universe in another direction, good or bad. Do I like this movie? No. Is it good? Yes.

Fans since the 60's will absolutely hate this movie. Fans of the 2000's (nay 2009) will probably love it (as it is new to them).

Granted, the movies beyond ST2 are so ... cheap, or, devalued... if they watch them... UGH. My sentiments exactly.

THIS MOVIE HOWEVER, tries to tie into the history from one point to the other and in it's own sick way... accomplishes that (even with cheap CGI... cmon...)...

I give this a movie an 8 out of 10 because at least they stuck to the "characters" and the growth...
