Bad Moms
(2016)

People would have protested this movie if it were a male cast
Nothing, but spoilers ahead:

If you've seen this movie and you're looking at reviews, then you're probably curious what my summary means.

Let's make this movie into an all-male cast and summarize the story:

A guy's wife falls for someone online for 10 months, so he meets up with his guy friends who talk about banging lots of chicks and they make it a mission to get him laid to feel better but who cares about the other person's feelings, right bro?!

3 guys spend a few minutes talking about floppy vaginas and men should run fast if their vagina looks different.

Father neglects their kids and even when they realize they're a problem, they drive recklessly endangering their lives and the lives of others.

Even after the realization that he's failing as a father, rather than coming up with solutions, he accepts that giving up is the right thing to do.

Then being a total d-bag magically makes everything work out so it's okay to be a d-bag.

Moral of the story: Neglect your relationship, neglect your family, neglect your job, bang chicks bro, and everything will be alright.

Satire is not always good
Laugh track, Bad jokes, and Poorly executed jokes

These are all done on purpose and that doesn't make it good. If a bad movie knows it's a bad movie, that doesn't make it a good movie.

This show feels like they dug into a dumpster and found a folder containing all the rejected skits from Saturday Night Live and that does not make it funny.

If you're one of the people that can laugh at bad movies like Scary Movie or Sharknado, this might be something you'd enjoy.

I, for one, am tired of shows selling off the idea of "we're lazy and that's why it's good!" to the simple-minded who accept bad writing because it makes them laugh.
