Gehraiyaan
(2022)

Wtf did I just saw?
I wanted GEHRAIYAAN to be the best film Bollywood has to offer in the romance genre but man this film got so weird with each passing minute that I lost interest in watching it after 40 minutes or so.

The only good thing about this movie is the cinematography and the music and apart from that, the script is so bad, so bad that I can't even imagine what was an actor like Deepika was thinking before saying yes to this.

I love Deepika and Siddanth and they have so much potential but man the script just killed their performances.

I feel so bad for this beautiful looking film. Gehraiyaan could have been so much more than this snoozefest.

Duh!

Kaamyaab
(2018)

Please someone from Academy watch this film and give the goddamn best actor award to Sanjay Mishra sir
I wonder why he hasn't received an academy award for this performance. We wet over so many Hollywood actors like AlPacino or Brando or De Niro but our own Sanjay Mishra is just as good as them and its our poor fate that we are so late in recognizing how incredibly talented this actor is. Its high time we respect the actors rather than stars, talent rather than the fame. So many happy tears at the end of the film, do watch Kaamyab, its a masterpiece that deserves all the appreciation.

Glass
(2019)

Critics are bunch of sad people. GLASS is a masterpiece and years to come this trilogy will be celebrated!
I love when a movie comes with an original idea. In a world where most of the source material comes from Comics, Novels or History to bring up the original idea has become quiet risky. Shyamalan, is one the victim of modernisation where he tries to captivate you with an original idea and then critics in general disregard him by saying he is "trying too much". Shyamalan is beloved by his audiences and to be honest his fans has never give up on his talent. That is the reason why his films survive and loved in later years. So when I talk about Glass, it can proudly say that this film is a profound experience. Beautifully crafted and very well written as it keeps you challenging with the ideologies of Heroes and Villains. Are they for real? Or its just a made up idea to keep us politically motivated. This film brings so many metaphors to life, you can completely understand what Shyamalan is trying to do. Yes, this film is not for modern superheroes fans. I love comic book movies but this is something that has its outer dimensions in thoughtfulness. I request you all to watch this film and enjoy the cinematic universe of a modern auteur Shayamlan who loves taking risks and executes them with all his heart.

Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl
(2011)

Dil k armaan aansuo main "BAHL" gaye.........
So girls n guys, get ready for another crap from Bollywood..."Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl"...title of course sounds energetic and full of fun, but believe me movie is a complete sh!t...so predictable and dumb story, almost looks like a sequel of DHOOM-2...well, i was expecting a lot from the director Manish Sharma that he'll give a good watchable product like BBB but all expectations were flushed away completely...leaving 2-3 scenes, whole movie was a garbage, even the cuteness and killer looks of Ranveer can't save this movie.

Poor story-line with thousands of plot holes, poor direction, bad songs, average music, bad acting and poor characterizations of lead characters...u'll always be expecting something gr8 to happen but please let me remind u, u r watching a Bollywood flick...CINEMATOGRAPHY and EDITING was mind blowing but in India WHO CARES about technical aspects.

TOTAL FARJIWAADA guys...in sweet n simple words, please ignore this cr@p.

Midnight in Paris
(2011)

Welcome to the French Surrealism
Human being has a nature that he can't satisfy himself at any condition. When a man think that there's something missing in his world than there's always an unexpected event waiting down for him to change his course of life.

MIDNIGHT IN Paris is a simple story of a man named Gil(Owen Wilson) who thought that his Hollywood world is not that quiet exciting and not fulfilling his writer skills as he wanted to write novels. Than he gets the chance to go to Paris with his beautiful girlfriend(Rachel McAdams) and her family for a business trip. He always knew that Paris is the land of LOVE and ART but he felt that when he encountered that place. Beautiful views of streets, rivers, lamps, landmarks etc makes protagonist fall in love with Paris. He decides to stay here forever but not everyone feel good about that. His great love for Paris leads him to some beautiful illusions which in the end makes him realize that this is what he was missing in his life i.e. ART and LOVE.

Allen's cinematographers never compromised to show how beautiful Paris is, every single view into the screen is in detailed form and showed with spectacular camera work. Especially the ending scene when Eiffel Tower was lightning beautifully.

Whole screenplay is one the best part of the movie. Exciting Story-line helps to meet some of the beautiful characters who keeps us engaged till the end. Dialogues are good and written very well keeping a view of French-France in mind.

As expected, all the performers are superb. From leading actor Wilson to supporting actor Adrien Brody all are superb. Special remarks for Marion Cotillard, she is looking so beautiful and stealing every second she is on the screen.

First movie of the year which i felt is Technically natural. Filmed in old fashioned style which is refreshingly cool. U have never seen Paris that beautiful in any past Hollywood films. Movie takes place in my year's top 5. With Wonderful direction of the great Woody Allen and comical-adventurous journey of Paris this movie deserves 10/10. Must watch for those who respect and love ART.

Not a Love Story
(2011)

Another headache from Bollywood
Trailer was bad-ass, movie is bad blood...everyone knows the story of infamous Neeraj Grover murder case and yes the film is based on this same murder case...if u people really want to know about this murder case than I insist u all to not to watch this movie, simply ask Google to search it and it'll save your 2 hours and 100rs.

Story- Its about a girl Anusha, her obsessive boyfriend Robin and her dreams of becoming an actress. Robin's obsession for her girlfriend changes there lives forever.

Performances- Deepak Dobriyal(Robin) rocked this movie in true sense, his eyes were showing his obsessive love for his girlfriend, great act from this guy...Mahie Gill was average and this disappointed me a lot...i was expecting something great from her. Others did there job very well and especially the inspector was spectacular.

Technical Department- Worst Cinematography Ever in the Bollywood history, music was seriously a pain for ears...Ramu wanted to create the disturbing environment in this whole movie but he failed to do so, i think he was pretty disturbed while making this movie...camera angles, editing and background sounds were really nasty.

ADVISE- Ramu its a little advise, from tomorrow please start watching Bergman's and Aronofsky's movies...u really don't know the meaning of dark cinema...watch movies like REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, PI, BLACK SWAN, etc. if u really want to know about the disturbing cinematography, sound designing and dark cinema. I can't believe that I just watched the movie of a director who made movies like SATYA and COMPANY.

Please do not waste your time for this crap...5/10

5 because this movie showed some intelligent sights of non-living things which were related to Anusha.

Dhobi Ghat
(2010)

i can compare it to the mainstream cinema of Hollywood but not to an art movie of world cinema
storyline brilliant, acting brilliant, music brilliant, direction good, cinematography good(could be much better in some scenes), screenplay brilliant.....so overall its legen, wait for it, here it comes, dary its legendary cinema for bollywood...yes it was not realistic in some parts but still u can watch a beautiful drama by feeling every character of this movie...everyone were great in this movie but a big hand for these two young promising ladies Monica Dogra and Kriti Malhotra, facing the camera first time and doing the exceptional job and hope...so finally we can see some change in bollywood, i was expecting a lot more music from Gustavo, direction was not at its best but still the very powerful ending shows the talent in Kiran Rao because the way these 4 characters shown there emotions was great to watch, yes i can compare it to the mainstream cinema of Hollywood but not to an art movie of world cinema...fearless producers like aamir khan who do not care about the returns or profits should come in more number now because this will help to bring the great change in cinematic sense in masses. go for it...10/10 in my opinion.

Tees Maar Khan
(2010)

want to take revenge from your enemy? just tell him to watch this
By making this movie the Bollywood directors-producers had clear this thing that we people are mad and we'll clearly like this BULLSH!T which has made by them...and i think they are right, what we Indian viewers really want is the senseless comedy, item numbers and the great stars like Akki-Salmaan that is why the movies like TMK, No Problem, G-3, Dabangg etc etc are the big hits...this is creating trouble for those viewers who like the off beat films, the directors-producers of India are making these comedy films and in reply they are making the huge profits out of it because of us only, i never wanted to see this movie but my parents insisted me and i was there at the cinema, starting 5 minutes had clearly explained us that this movie will be not easy to handle at all, and yes i was right...script poor, storyline average, acting of the full cast except Akshay Khanna was seriously poor and poor direction...people don't like the movies which need to use mind and this is clearly proved by making such a SH!T...i am angry now, this is the waste of money, time and cast! Sorry if i had hurt anyone's feeling but this is true which i had mention above.

Requiem for a Dream
(2000)

this director has cross the limits!
dark, dark, dark and dark...this was the 1st movie that made me cry, i was crying like a hell...every character got disturb in the end and i was crying in alone...this was the best movie i have ever seen in my life, the every scene of this movie was disturbing, u will feel to like kill yourself in the end, u'll be saying to yourself that why director has cross his limits by showing such an dark and emotional ending...acting of every character was superb and the special applause for the cinematographer and the director of this movie...this story is about a mother, a son, a lover, a friend and "DRUGS"! please if anyone who is taking the drugs and pills for dieting please for god sake just stop right now.....i m going mad, i cannot control my emotional feelings but please do watch this movie, feel every scene of this movie and appreciate this work!

No Smoking
(2007)

wanna THINK deep, just watch it than!
EXCELLENT is the only word that suits on this movie, i just saw this movie in December 2010 because of the great Indian reviewers who had given such a bad comments on this movie, my friend told me again and again to watch this movie but i was always saying no to him (i thought why to watch that movie which is rated 1.5/5 in the times of India)...i was wrong with every aspect, it is a shame that i had watch this great movie so late! i loved every scene of this movie, this movie has really something to say in each and every scene, Anurag Kashyap no doubt is the best director in India who wanted to change the taste of Indian viewers and i know that he will succeed in this...storyline great, cinematography great, a big hand for Jhon and Paresh, they did the great job...a deep, dark and real concept makes confused sometimes but if you start thinking deeper you'll see that this masterpiece really has many things to say...very well done Anurag, very well done the other star cast...lastly i wanted to say that please watch this different masterpiece and you'll be surely comparing it to the Hollywood movies!

the "best" is here!
movie starts with great camera work and ends with the emotional touch...this 15min short movie has many things to tell about India, what India is all about...the characters, the camera work, the background score was really the best one that u can see in any short film...Vinoo shows the Indian rituals and the effect on boy with the great emotional touch...i was listening about this short film from long long time and i was lucky to get a chance to watch this movie in 35mm screen...the work of the cast in this movie was seriously good and in last 2 minutes of movie i was stopping myself to cry...great emotional touch and more importantly every Indian should watch this movie and yes 10/10 to star cast and director and cameraman!
