I rented this movie and I stopped watching it in the first 20minutes or 30 minutes something. there are many unnecessary scene in this action flicks. I do enjoy watching action movie, but with clear reasoning of what the situation and the characters did and will do. I just take one of the examples of waste of time scene. when Aisha, the lead female character enter the room with Clay, the "team leader" character, suddenly they started fighting,,, for what??? i know maybe she wants to test him or anything, but for what purpose they have to throw a tantrum? and they even burnt the room,,, and,,,, for what????? after that, the scene change to the street where there are not a single marks or bloods of their punches in their faces after their big fights,, what??? And there is one scene that they walked in together in a row in slow motion... that is so cliché... and for what????? and they depend so much on Chris Evans's good looking without having anything value to his character.. come on... I sometimes like to watch B class action movie to just get relax without thinking too much and just enjoy, But even this movie really cant give me that since it is too simplistic. The new "The A Team" movie is way.. better than this, very smart movie in action movie.

Very deep story, nice characters, great action scene and awesome background music, opening and ending song. if you know and love Avengelion, this show really suits for you. there will be also two things that might be a little awkward perhaps the characters and monsters designs, but still it wont bother you a lot. this show really tells you that it is not easy to be a magical girl, there will be consequences that you have to pay for being magical girl. "in great power comes great responsibility" really fits the story. Maybe it's a little bit similar to "Bokurano". I watched this series nonstop from episode 1 to 12 in 1 day because the story really will make you curious and you cant stop watching it unless you finish it. Moreoever, you cant guess what will happen till the end, even for me, I didn't expect the ending would be that good.

I am a big fans of superheroes stories, you can name it almost most of them I can familiar with the story. so my opinion in here is based on my "experience" to watch them and I will give my ratings in many aspects.

For the powers (5): too obvious and don't have its own distinction with other superheroes movies, superhuman strength.. seen it, super-speed.. watched it, mind-reader.. lots of superheroes use this power already.. Maybe super genius is little bit different.

Characters (6): the father character maybe is a bit unique because he is somehow not a leader figure in his family.., the mother is the leader figure in the family.. the son and the daughter are an average stereotype kids who tries to adapt to their friends at school, nothing unusual. Although, I like how good the characters can connect well with each others, it feels natural.

Story (5.5): really confusing, I think the writer is trying soooo hard to make the story look complex but it becomes not very believable. For example, if you watch in the first episodes, the father sometimes do the opposite of what he just said and believed with no logical explanation at all. In episode ten, the writer make the story too simple, why are their side kicks want to get out of their own teams just because a personal feeling? where is the determination to be a hero that the characters showed in first episodes. It looks like they are just playing a game and being a childish, grow up.. you are all an adult (the father and mother's sidekicks) it's like "if i don't like the person Im out the game".. hey are you serious want to save people? there are super villains in this TV series you know.. It's like I am watching a cartoon here, even cartoon's story nowadays is not like that. So actually is not the characters' that make the story becomes so weird, but it is the writer's responsibility.

OK, why I give 6 in here because I like that we have given another choices to watch superheroes story. Also there are many jokes that match with their own personalities. But if they are planning to make the second season of this.. please please please, don't let me get the feeling "it's not relevant, why is she doing that easily? Why didn't he just do this?"... anymore and try not to make the story complex if the writers don't have the capabilities to make complex story.

I like to see any movie that I think I like without too much depending on any good/bad rate/review here. And for me, even though many people seem don't like this movie, I enjoy watching this. OK.. maybe to me Tom Cavanagh is not a fit actor here, he doesn't play his role naturally here, like flat or no passion or not relax. and my real rate would be 7, because Tom's acting is really not interesting, T.J. Miller would be even better to play ranger Smith's role.. still i give 10 to raise the total rate of this film, 4 in total rate is too cruel for this film's rating.. but I like to watch this movie not because of the actor performance, I watched it because I want to see a comedy movie. if you want to see great actor performance maybe you should just watch any winning Oscar movie. And I think in terms of jokes, the movie is doing well. Although in some scenes they use classic jokes, but it felt so natural to me. So if any of you are looking for a good comedy movie and a nice laughter, I recommend to watch this movie.

I always watch every movie that I like to watch despite the bad reviews, because hey... each person has different preferences, don't easily influenced by reviews from somebody that you don't know personally. I watched the trailer of this movie and I was stunned with how "cool" is the alien warship. Then, I still watch the movie regardless many bad reviews out here. It turns out, the movie is really awesome if you are one of the action sci-fi fans. I have to admit, first minutes are totally useless scene with the drama and all that, but after that, it is like you are riding a roller coaster. The continuity of the action scene is really good. It is delivered in a good pace and the story is still believable. One more time I say this to you all. "If you like to watch good sci-fi action movie, just watch this movie, don't mind the bad reviews".
