Animal Kingdom
(2010)

Poo
I came across animal kingdom via the American series, I have not watched the American series yet, purposely because on checking the reviews i discovered the original title film.

I much prefer to check out the origins of TV series first especially if there is a book or film.

Man was I disappointed! I turned off at 60 minutes because its shallow uninteresting and daft.

My only hope now is the TV series or I fear much like I have in the past wasted my evening on Australian trash.

I really would like one day to watch an Australian film that is at least good but they are awful actors seriously awful the best film inever remember watching was memoir and again same actor etc Australia seem to have a handful of actors and I'm not hating please believe me, I've travelled Australia and tbh what a boring bunch they are in real life too.

I watch all genres all languages (subtitles really help make a film come alive for me) but this is another poopoo.

I have it a 3/10 because it held me for an hour whilst I ate my vegetable Biriani, which was fantastic if I do say so myself.

Poo.

King Jack
(2015)

Is this as tough as it gets?
I watched in hope of an American tale similar perhaps to kidulthood, but instead all I got was retarded state in America.

Like is this supposed to be a tough tale of bullying? I went through a heck of a lot worse growing up in south London but I'd never consider it hard or tough compared to others I have known and wouldn't write a film about it, this has no depth and meaning isn't much happening and apart from a few stones chucked here and there or the odd slap it's nothing short of a kids film about puberty Some good acting don't get me wrong but a rubbish script. Watch to maybe discover what it's like to live in a backward state in USA. Or cos your bored and there is nothing else worth your time.

Captain Fantastic
(2016)

Great film, timeless.
It's a bold move and one I'm glad I had the pleasure of watching.

10/10 simply because it's am original film and so important to have been made.

Funny some hate it like 1/10 that's worrying, most have rated 9 or 10/10

All I can do is tell you all to watch this film as your in for a treat.

The Wall
(2017)

Not really sure where this was supposed to be going.
Look forward to a great beginning, an even greater middle.

That's where the buck stops for me.

This could have been so much better, I thought by the middle of this film I was in for a nice little finish to the story, instead it fell apart, like what a crock of s*** man, I mean come on this was seriously going places and just like that it was as if the writer or director was shot and the film died on its backside, the ending was just dumb. I'm not having it not one bit, it sucks when films like this have great potential and fall apart towards the end. Watch this film to witness a nice little current vibe of late but only to be disappointed as it falls apart much like the title .. ..the wall isn't much of a wall at all more a few good bricks and no cement to hold it all together. Shame.

City of Tiny Lights
(2016)

Great if your a fan.
I'm a fan of London based tales, probably biased as I grew up in south London, so first off, the American audience very rarely understand our street talk, and secondly, as for sound issues there is none and I was watching low volume too.

I really enjoyed this film, yes some parts not superb but all in all its a good watch and has potential.

My Name Is Lenny
(2017)

It's a snippet of Lenny's boxing matches.
I agree people that had no idea who Lenny was will hate this, I'm a Londoner and this was a good bit of fun about a very small part of who Lenny was.

Watch it enjoy it they did a good job it's funny and sad but not at the same time.

Want more read the book.

Message from the King
(2016)

Trash.
Your get used to my honesty. Don't bother there's much better out there of this type of revenge film.

Acting is very poor nobody seems to know what there point is and lastly if your making a film with a title as bold as this one has, at least provide some decent fight scenes this is so poor it did surprise me.

Shot Caller
(2017)

Oooooh yeah! This is a good one !
Quality quality quality

Hopefully people will get to know when I say something is good I'm usually right.

That's not me trumpet blowing, just means I've been about a bit and seen a thing or two, I love good movies and I'm not stereotypical at all, I like all genres because when it's done right it's done right, and trust me when I say don't blink or look away one bit because your in for a belter with this one.

Enjoy it late at night on your own is my advice. (Best way to enjoy most things in life)

Heroes Don't Come Home
(2016)

Top shelf.
OK been an avid user here and at most trust the reviews.

Time for me to now write my own reviews because I feel there are a few review critics that seem so off key.

I won't ever say much because I like a good film to do it's thing, what I will say is this is a little gem of a story exceptional acting great story seemed very real and could connect on the emotions this film portrays... Just watch it because it's a brilliant film.
