American Conspiracy: The Octopus Murders
(2024)

Typical overdramatized Netflix production.
I have no doubt there is meat to the story in some way. The powers that be in our government agencies is too much and suspicion is high. For me, the story began to fall apart upon the assertion Ronald Reagan won the election because of the hostages. Completely untrue. The economic disaster that Carter presided over was why Reagan won in a landslide. Iran hated Carter due to allowing their prior leader asylum in our country. Once Reagan was elected, they released them. When I see a fact this large misconstrued in a documentary, I fast forwarded it from then on.

Netflix needs to keep these real. Stop with the dramatics and manipulations. Just tell the story.

On a Wing and a Prayer
(2023)

Terrible terrible terrible
They took what should've been a great movie story and absolutely destroyed. It was a horrible script and B level acting. Actually C or D might be better descriptive. I ended up ff to end as I couldn't take it anymore. The ending wasn't any better. Oh, and kids on bikes roll up on the scene with the emergency equipment?? This was a failure at every level. Guy working on car in a dark garage with the door closed. Air traffic controllers in dark rooms that apparently do not know ANYONE who pilots a plane that could talk him thru procedures. Building a mock cockpit in a garage outta crap is necessary to speak advice over a cell phone? Scenes of skimming over the ground but the next scene they're above clouds? This isn't a true story told or a entertaining movie, about a plane, this is a documentary on poor movie making to the highest degree.

Drive
(2011)

Ridiculous.
Too many writing holes to list. Unnecessary violence gore. Very few drive scenes despite the title. One long stare scene after another. Ridiculous plot with a stupid ending. Complete waste of time watching this failure. Being star studded didn't help... not even a little.

Kid 90
(2021)

Jeesh. Growing up in LA with ties to Holly Wood.
This is an interesting story of how live is lived when you're semi-famous, plenty of money and connections, but a complete disconnect to Christ. Good story and raw. It ends with increasing the focus on finding and elevating "self love". These people continue to miss the point of why we're here.
