Don't Look Up
(2021)

End of the World film that was actually good for once.
Yes it's a star studded film but making an "end of the world" Oscar credible film is completely on another level. This flick was actually funny, interesting, and well written! This film makes you cringe and really look in the mirror at how incredibly retarded we have let our politics become in this country.

I'm embarrassed I'm laughing at this brutally honest take on how purposely ignorant we've allowed ourselves to become.

DiCaprio, Rylance, Blanchett were masterful!! Everyone else had B performances!

The Tomorrow War
(2021)

Chris Pratt should be forced to retire.
Sure... he played his typical dumb, lucky-guy role but I'm sure his agent should have read the script first.

The movie gets 3 star for entertainment and Pratt gets 1 star for picking this god horrible movie to be in.

Manhattan Undying
(2016)

1/2 great and 1/2 garbage!
The direction and writing are all over the place.

The vampire scenes are the worst. Why would a vampire dress up and a cocktail dress all the time and moving at a snails pace like some foolish runway model? It's embarrassing and corny! The sultriness makes you want to vomit. Secondly....why waste time watching her kill people? She's a vampire...duh we know that. If this was a romance without vampires is it necessary to follow the lead to her job everyday? No?

Great concept poor screenwriting.

Rewrite it and make it REAL!

Wtf with that doctors office??? Geesh!!! Sooo many added scenes that needed to be on editing room floor.

Crimson Peak
(2015)

This ranks up there with Stroker Ace
If this movie only had Burt Reynolds and Lonny Anderson it would have had a chance at the box office. Instead of the female lead of Ms Chastain Dom DeLuise would have been an improvement. Mr DelToro really outdid himself. The last time I've seen direction this fine was coincidentally in another Bert Reynolds classic The Cannonball Run. It was shear genius. Stephen King even gave a glowing review. I wonder if it was out of courtesy. You would think their art is more important than friendships.

The Haunting of Bly Manor
(2020)

Acting was superb! Unfortunately.....
The story could have been better told in a single movie.

Vampires
(2020)

Homeless people. Vampires 2 needs you!
Not sure who had the privilege of casting this series but they weren't very selective.

Just Looking
(1999)

I really am annoyed with way too many movies involving jewish faith.
We have 6 million People who practice Judaism in this country but Hollywood thinks that every other movie should have overtly jewish references. If we had as many JW or Mormon movies people would riot! The movie was full of over acting and too much going on. Could have been dumbed down for the story line and have added a narrator.

Longmire
(2012)

Seriously the best TV show I've seen in a LONG TIME!
It was difficult for me to pull this out of Netflixs to watch: First, I'm not a cowboy type of guy. Secondly, something about the middle of Wyoming doesn't sound too interesting. Well I was completely wrong! I only watched this because I was a big fan of BSG (Battle Star Galatica) and Katie. Anyway, the writing, lead acting, and many story arcs have you on your seat waiting for you next scene!

I really have to give it to the creators of this show. You really outdid yourselves with genre that was dead some time ago. If anybody liked Tom Seleck in "Jesse Stone" you will like this exponentially more. Mr. Taylor (Longmire) really was casted well for this show and he has done a masterful job! His daughter also gives a great performance and expect to see more of her everywhere!

The Grand Budapest Hotel
(2014)

"Prohibitited" Brilliant!
I really can't say that I was overcome with particular emotions during this movie as I sat next to my girlfriend (who isn't a movie person), but I can honestly say that this movie made my life better by seeing it. It was a wickedly creative story that fed intelligent viewers nectar of the gods.

The Grand Budapest Hotel was a masterfully written story, and without looking at the credits I can say that the director also deserves much of the fanfare.

Ralph Fiennes proves he is easily one of the best actors on this planet by his portrayal of Gustav. I don't recall one point in the movie were he wasn't flawless! William DeFoe is easily one of the best "wingman" an actor can have. Mr. Abraham did not "kill Mozart", and was pleasantly appealing.

Casting was great, cinematography was intelligent, art direction delightful, writing superb, production of this was made to look like child's play! Seriously, I'm going to rave to everyone, even my Republican friends who will not understand what an accomplishment of a movie this is!

Thank you all of you who put this together! I would have paid $50 for a ticket!

Funny I just looked up the director and I will definitely view his other works.....except the Royal Tenenbaums, because I already loved that movie!

Great Job to ALL! Perfect Movie!
