Time for You to Come Home for Christmas
(2019)

The Best Blake Shelton Movie!
This was by far my favorite "Time For You To Come Home For Christmas" version for 2019 and all the B. Shelton Hallmark movies. Number 5 movie is my least favorite. Alison Sweeney and Lucas Bryant have a strong chemistry that made this believable. I loved the story, the actors, and how it ended. The son was very cute and hope to see him in more movies. The mother is lovely. Some fans stated that the ending song was distracting, but the way Jack walks slowly toward Katherine is very provocative, and the interaction is mesmerizing. I hope Hallmark puts these two together again in a movie. I would love to see more follow-up movies, to continue the storylines. Bring it on!!!!!!!

Blue Bloods: The Blue Templar
(2011)
Episode 22, Season 1

Emmy Worthy!
In my opinion, the most compelling episode out of all the seasons. The season finale to season one. Tom Selleck should have won an Emmy, based on his performance for this season finale. He performed like a Godfather, head of his family and the New York police department. Michael T. Weiss should have won best supporting actor as the corrupt detective. Both performances were brilliant and chilling! Why is it that the same actors seem to win Emmy performances and those that deserve it, do not. It must be politics in the television industry.

Michael T. Weiss went on to make the series, "The Pretender." He's a brilliant actor. Additionally, I don't understand why he didn't become more popular as lead actor in a television series or movies. His caliber of acting is out of the ordinary.

Silver Bells
(2005)

Beautiful HHOF Movie!
I love "Silver Bells" and I own the DVD, because I am a fan of Anne Heche. I've always thought she was a great actress, and so sad that she is now deceased. Anne was beautiful in appearance with a stunning carriage in this movie. I had never seen Tate Donovan and felt he did a good job playing the controlling father. He did ease up after a scary incident involving his son. The son was ambitious, the dad controlling and the daughter was trying to keep peace. The scenery in the beginning is beautiful. Over-all I was happy with the outcome of the movie. I can watch it over and over again because it has a great holiday feel to it.

Five More Minutes
(2021)

Heartwarming and A Touching Story!
I love this movie, even the third time seeing it. It touches me so much, especially having Alexander Jones in the movie playing Jay. I really felt he was the heart of the movie, as he's nice looking, and he seemed to really care about Clara, and what she was feeling, especially the last scenes. We discover why he is important to the story. I disagree that it was a downer movie, living in the past. This type of movie helps you to appreciate your deceased relatives, and because I have been thinking about my mother a lot lately. I wish I had 5 more minutes with my mom and dad. This movie teaches us to spend quality time with our loved ones. It teaches us that memories are held close to our hearts, and are there for a reason. It teaches us to cherish our minutes with the special people in our lives. It is very well acted with all of the actors, and very well written. And thank you Scotty for the beautiful song.

Heart of the Matter
(2022)

Heart Of The Matter
Probably one of the most dramatic movies on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. Well cast. Aimee Teagarden is becoming one of my top favorite actresses on Hallmark channels. She plays a cardiologist, Andie, in tune with her patients, and personable. One of her patients was one of those "special" ones that she got to know. Tragedy strikes and Andie is having a challenging time dealing with it. Gail O'Grady plays the mother, and she's superb in the role. I encourage you to see the movie, as it ends teaching life lessons of love and forgiveness.

Adding: When you look at the whole picture, the mother was just as responsible for the outcome of the son driving. She could have told him to stay put and she would come and get him or call an ambulance. The mother should have known better, instead of blaming Andie. This is not brought out in the story.

Cinderella
(2015)

"Cinderella" Is A Work Of Art!
"Cinderella" Is A Work Of Art! Why? Because the story is laid out brilliantly. All actors have beautiful chemistry, and I don't know how it could have been improved. Lily James and Richard Madden are beautifully in sync with one another. It's obvious how attracted they are to each other, having strong chemistry. TPTB had the ability to bring this story alive with an almost cartoonish behavior, especially from the step-sisters. Helena Bonham Carter was excellent as the fairy Godmother, exercising compassionate control over Ella's transformation. Cate Blanchett as the stepmother, which she played so magnificently, with every evil mannerism . I could go on and on with the whole cast. I have no negatives concerning the whole movie, as I love it over and over again.

A Christmas Together with You
(2021)

I loved The Story!
I thought the story was unique and different from the other Hallmark movies. The leads were very good at presenting themselves. I enjoyed every minute of it.

My Christmas Family Tree
(2021)

Filled With Emotion!
I loved this movie, as it has everything I want. A good story, good acting, and the leads were very convincing. I thought Aimee Teegarden and Andrew Walker had great chemistry. Aimee made me feel what she was feeling. Becoming attached to a family that she felt comfortable with, and they felt that way in return. Some of the new holiday movies on the Hallmark channels don't do much for me, but this one I will watch over again. Such a tender, believable movie.

Remember the Night
(1939)

Stellar Cast & Movie!
I look forward to TCM playing this movie every Christmas Eve. Fred and Barbara are superb as the leads. The supporting players are excellent, as well. This movie brings tears to my eyes, because I miss the days when families gathered together during holidays, to communicate, cheer each other on, and believe in the quality of love. Today we have electronics, which we got along without in the early days. Just about everyone focusing on their cell phones, and not focusing on family togetherness or chattering. I love how John's family shared their gifts with Lee. It's as if she couldn't believe that she was treated so well. She learned a lesson by sharing in this family's love toward her. Mrs. Sargent was loving toward Lee in the beginning, but finding out that she stole goods, she eventually judged her. I guess that is realistic, given that the mother wanted a good outcome for John. Understandably, John fell in love with Lee, because meeting her mother, he understood why Lee is the way she is. Lee learned a good lesson from meeting his family. Lee felt she deserved punishment by being in jail. She took on responsibility for her behavior. Such a heartfelt holiday film, one of my favorites!!!

Coyote Creek Christmas
(2021)

The Lead Actress Was Harsh!
The story was just okay. I thought the lead actresse's character was very harsh toward her parents and the Ryan character. She was controlling, didn't let the parents talk to her, when they were trying to be upfront with her. She took over and wouldn't let them talk. The two had chemistry and that was about it. I prefer watching the older movies like "The Christmas Card" and "Christmas Shepherd" which were good stories. Also, they are putting actors/actresses together that don't even click or don't have chemistry. The older "Hallmark Hall of Fame" holiday movies are better than these, as well. I am so disappointed in the new movies.

Roadhouse Romance
(2021)

"LOVE" Roadhouse Romance!
When I first watched this movie, I didn't think that Alaina did a very good job. The more I watch it over again, she is quite natural and is playing herself. It's her happy, delightful personality that I find quite wonderful. It took me a bit to get used to her with Tyler, but it works. Every time it comes on I watch it. Alaina's voice is right up there with the best country singers. I do feel she'll gradually become very popular. WAY TO GO Hallmark.
