Seattle Superstorm (2012)
Here we go again!
This is SO formulaic... nasty happenings, big storm ... there's the smart woman with the stressed face, the bad guy who snarls all the time and reaches for his gun, the smart-arse kids ... Oh come on, you guys, think up some other scenario PLEASE!
Mind you, of course, it's standard day-time telly and that's when I'm watching it so .... my fault, I guess!

Worse than awful!
I never even made it to the end ... and then when I read the plot summary I'm so glad I didn't; life is just too short!
WHAT a waste of time! It must have been raining the afternoon they made this and they didn't have anything better to do with the time! Dreadful acting ludicrously stupid script - how on earth did it ever get on the screen?

King Solomon's Mines (1985)
Oh dear ...
This movie is dire, sorry but it is. I'm not sure how Sharon Stone ever got another job, frankly, because she's ham and then some!
The story of King Solomon's Mines was very exciting and a great read - this has so little to do with it that frankly it's an insult to give it that title. There is purpose to the book, there is no purpose whatever to this movie and oh dear, oh dear, just how insulting to other races can you get?
No, I'm sorry, but if this is a sample of what 1985 movies were like, then thank goodness we've moved on - and one has to say of it's similarity to Indiana Jones, at least they were new stories ... this is supposed to bear some resemblance (one supposes) to a great book!

Deadly Voltage (2015)
Deadly voltage - deadly dull
I have just turned this movie off with five minutes still to go, because I really had had more than enough!
Truly this movie is awful and as the tension is supposed to rise, the glazed boredom just gets more pronounced. I was astonished to find it was made in 2016, the special effects (so few as there were) were awful. There wasn't a single heart-stopping moment and the endless driving around in various cars on completely empty roads was pathetic!
Maybe I should have looked at IMDb before I watched it, I mean it was being shown this morning on Freeview television in England so that gives you some idea of how awful it is. The script is so mind- bogglingly bad, I almost felt sorry for the actors having to speak it - but the actors themselves were generally so dull and disinterested that you felt they knew what a clanger the finished article was going to be.
And I thought film making had improved over the years - not if this is anything to go by!
