The Adam Project
(2022)

Could be a 7 or 8 but is a solid 5.
Since Deadpool 2 I'm not comfortable with Ryan Raynolds anymore. All his jokes in other movies are foreseen and kida the same.

This was different. I liked the plot and the powerful dynamic between both of the main characters.

So Ryan Reynolds can be funny, again! It's a nice story with well-balanced humor which could let me rate this as a 7 or 8 out of 10.

But, the total ugly and cheesy looking CGI fight scenes with the easy predictable "on the nose" ending will let me rate this movie only 5/10.

Chucky
(2021)

Wanted to quit after 30mins...but...
The first 15 to 20 minutes, I thought it was going into the wrong direction. I was annoyed by a lot of characters. I couldn't find interests in the storyline with bullying at school etc.

But because of Don Mancini, I gave it a chance and boy he paid back and delivered so that there wasn't any kind of disappointment.

I think I'll have to get over it that CGI is a must nowadays.

I also hope that beeing on TV isn't a setback when it comes to slasher and gore scenes. But this picture will be painted for me at least five more episodes in.

So there you got my 7/10 rating based on the pilot and what I'm looking for in this TV show.

I'm looking forward to raise that rating pending how they can entertain me with Chucky on TV.

Last Man Standing
(2011)

Downhill from season 5
The 1st four seasons were brilliant! I've lost interest in the middle/end of season 5. Watched frequently loose episodes till season 8 and there have been made too many changes who made this very dull for me. Every move and sentence of Kyle's character is predictable and absolutely not funny anymore. The "new" Mandy is just portrait dumb. Chuck Larabee became just an unintersting yea-sayer. Jay Leno can't act, is just annoying and the new so called Chinese/Hong-Kong teenager in the show, who is (allegedly) born and raised in Asia, speaks perfect English without any kind of error in grammar. That's (for me) not just unbelievable, it seems she also is just in for the quote of races to show off and to bring in new young blood into the household. But this backfired to the costs of the show.
