Somewhat predictable or I just got lucky with all my guesses. Watched it with the g/f and we talked through the movie. It was that boring and contained some broken story holes. People's actions are just explained through blind anger every time which is a total cop out.
I finished the film just so I could confirm to myself that there was nothing more to this. I was hoping to my core to really enjoy this film, but I couldn't. Action sequences were bad or they didn't give enough time to it.
It's just sooo bad. I really tried to just accept the symbolism - but --- ugh
I loved his work in Get Out -- but this one was a super stretch for me.
Basically, just read the reviews about how confusing this film is and all the plot holes. The references and symbols are just far out.
Yeah...this was just horrible - money grab. The Meg was better.
Yeah...this was just horrible - money grab. The Meg was better.
Story isn't even good - not that I expected it to be. The only good fun person to watch was Hasan Minhaj.
I'm cheering for everyone to die and I'm only 55 minutes through it.
I guess every film needs some one to do something very very stupid in order to keep the story moving. But for a colony of amazing humans to be on a ship, travel through space and complete mile stones of human advancement, they still suck at following their own security protocols and suck at giving their peers and teammates details like. Someone does not look normal and they appear to be very very sick on this strange planet we landed on. So let me bring them back on board. Then the "pilot" of the ship decides to overly panic. Horrible character driving story.
The beginning was horrible. The acting and chemistry between characters isn't there.
The middle got better. Also, when she patches up the guy they could've just started the call for an airlift and then she could work on him. Minus the risk of liability and lawsuits.
The acting is sub par. The action sequence is horrific. I've seen better on YouTube.
I know it's meant to be a no brain watching action flick with some martial arts. But, Good God, this is horrible. And what, all of a sudden the daughter goes missing?
The review said it had to be 10 lines. Not sure how they think they're editing will allow things to fall in to place. The story telling is not very good.
Of course, I can't film anything this good. Sorry for tearing it apart, but you asked for a review and you got one.
