WrestleMania 21 (2005)
Very well done PPV
Well well well. Its that time of year again! WRESTLEMANIA!!! I for one thought it was great. Here is my review.
Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guerrero. Great opener. Eddie really surprised me in this one by (in my opinion) out preforming Rey. Lots of risky moves and dives made this one quite memorable. Could have been longer though. 8/10.
Money in the bank ladder match. One thing I have to say is that its about friggin time we had a multiple man ladder match. This match was so good that I dare say that you could compare it to the ladder matches of 2000 and 2001. Simply perfect. 10/10.
Taker vs Orton. Not as bad as you'd think. Very fast paced (yes you hear that right) and lots of cool looking stuff (Takers freaky looking old school and of course the chokeslam counter). I was surprised to see Orton lose. I thought the streak would end. 8/10.
Trish vs Christy. Get a pillow for this one folks. Its another womens championship match. Christy sucked big time in this match and the ending had no flair what so ever (are we really supposed to believe the chick kick is that devastating?). 2/10.
Angle vs HBK. Mr.Michales all is forgiven. Being from Calgary, I used to hate this guy. I slowly have grown to accept him and after this match I do 100%. HBK and Angle were at the top of their game here. During the begging of this match you will probably think, what the crap, this is going nowhere. But at the end, it was main-event quality. Match of the night definitely. 10/10
Sumo match. Seriously guys, did you really think this would be worth watching? Believe me, don't get curious like I did and actually watch this. They take like 10 mins to prepare for the match and it ends after 1 min. 1/10.
Cena vs JBL. OK guys, heres my theory. Take the rock vs hogan match from wrestlemania X8 and turn the volume on mute. Pretty boring eh? Exactly. The match could be Flair vs Steamboat and it could be boring if the crowd is dead. Same case here. Almost Wrestlemania quality, but still good. The one thing that surprised me was JBL carrying Cena for almost the entire match. 7/10
HHH vs Batista. Oh, what the crap! The crowd was dead for Cena vs JBL and they were live for this! Come on! This was not a bad match, but it definitely was not wrestlemania main-event quality. The last little bit was good but HHH was really slow through the entire match. This was okay but not great. 6/10.
The Hogan segment and pipers pit were great segments and both come to a 10 when it comes to segments.
All in all this ppv rules. It definitely made up for the No Way Out disaster. Good ppv. 8/10.

WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW (2004)
Great game, but some huge flaws.
Smackdown vs Raw is definitely, hands down a great game. But how great? Let's see.
THE GOOD. Clean-dirty tactics. This really captures the flow of a match. Being a hardcore WWE fan, I love it when wrestling games are realistic.
Season. Not as long as the other games, but in my opinion that is a huge improvement. I was sick of long seasons. Also the story lines are fresh and original.
Create a PPV. Ahhhhh.... it's good that THQ finally put this back in. It's really detailed.
Entrances. The thing that most people look over. I personally think that these entrances are awesome and I love the fact that they even went as far as to make your manager walk out with you for your match.
Detail! I love the fact how every match has been improved on (for instance you can tell your manager to get a weapon, and you can argue with the ref).
THE OKAY. Royal rumble. The royal rumble is still really fun and great, but the meter is a little odd.
Challenges. I thought this was gonna be great, but the fact that some of the challenges are really tough and you don't get paid that much, just does not really make me excited. Still pretty cool though.
Create a wrestler. As usual, pretty much the same, just with more options.
THE BAD. Online. OH MY GOSH!!! THIS MODE SUCKS!!! GET IT UPDATED PLEASE!!!!!
The menu screens. The fact that divas are the menu screens is just stupid. Especially the fact that everyone thinks that I did that on purpose.
Hardcore matches. Multiple interactive backstage areas you will be missed.
So that's my review. Hopefully this will give you some thoughts on if you want to buy this game or not.

Summerslam (2004)
Great PPV(spoilers).
This was definitely a great PPV with lots of good matches. Here is my review.
6-man tag. DUDLEYS vs Kidman, London, and Mysterio. A good way to kick things off. As usual the dudleys are seemingly lacking the flair they used to have but still a good match. Rather bland ending though. 7 out of 10.
Matt Hardy vs Kane, winner marries Lita. This match was just brutal. WWE really needs to give kane back his mask. 5 out of 10.
Cena vs Booker T. 1st out of best of five series. Why is this match on PPV?
Oh well. Still a good match that really made up for the last one. Booker seemed in my opinion, to be having some trouble doing his moves. 6 out of 10.
Edge vs Y2J vs Batista. Triple threat for IC title. Very weird how Edge was booed in his hometown. Not the best triple threat match, but still a good one. It seemed that there was never a scene where all three men were in the ring at once. 7 out of 10.
Kurt Angle vs Eddie Guerrero. Awseome match. Very technical. Kurt seemed to be at the top of his game here and Eddie was not that far behind. Was not predicting Eddie tapping out though. I thought the angle slam would put him away. 9 out of 10.
HHH vs Eugine. This match would have been 10 times better if they made it a NO DQ match (I am not copying material, I just have the same thoughts). Eugine is not a good wrestler, he is just really entertaining. I laughed so hard when he did the stunner. Good match. 8 out of 10
Diva dodgeball. Good grief this was stupid. 1 out of 10.
Undertaker vs JBL WWE championship. I thought this match was going to suck but I was wrong. Undertaker was 100% on the top of his game. As usual JBL sucks. Disappointing ending with the DQ and all. However I did love it when JBL was put through the roof of his limo. 8 out of 10.
Chris Beniot vs Randy Orton. Match of the night. This match proved to me that Orton deserves the belt (although Beniot is my favorite wrestler). Unbelievable performance by both men. Surprised that Orton got the clean win. 10 out of 10.
