Looks Really solid so far.. Updated
I just watched the first episode. Stellar cast, great direction, wardrobe and sets are first rate and the writing is solid . Will definatly watch the entire series.

I just watched the first episode again without distractions and this is really an exceptional T. V. offering. The production quality is amazing and again the cast is stellar.

Somebody Somewhere

Am I alone in this.
I have read a lot of reviews that seemed to trash this gem of a tv show.

I don't really understand how anyone can't see the brilliance of this show from the writing to the acting to the direction to the cinematography just absolutely brilliantly done and one of the best first season I have had the absolute pleasure to view.

This could be good I was wrong
I am only halfway through the first episode and thinking this could be good.

Kind of has a Leftovers vibe and if it turns out to be anywhere near as creepy and bingeable then count me in for at least the next episode.

After viewing the 3rd episode unfortunately its a hard pass. It is res ally not very good at all and isn't even close to the caliber of the Leftover.

I am sure a lot off folks will enjoy and likely it will become another FBI which i panned harshly and somehow became a mild hit.

Quality
I just watched the first episode. Excellent all around.

No spoon feeding trying to be clever writing. Great cast great direction. Exceptional writing and editing.

I really hope the the next installment lives up to this well crafted and tasty amuse bouche.

Absolutely Love this show.
Every episode is uniquely twisted but true. There is a thread that ties it all together but it is just out of reach. It makes you feel. The uncomfortable sparks memories for everyone and is a cathartic flashback. This is quality television. The writing, the acting, the direction. I Love this Show...!!!!!!

The White Lotus

Da Boat Da Boat
Really enjoyed the first episode. It's like a deeper Fantasy Island with quirky real layered characters. The acting was good all around and I actually enjoyed the Orange filter it kind of set a certain mood that worked for me.

I will definatly watch the second installment.

UPDATE: I just watch 5 minutes of the second episode and almost nuked it.

Really bad writing and really bad acting regarding the drug scene.

I am going to turn it back on and finish the episode then decide if I will give the 3rd episode a shot.

Maybe I'm losing my mind
I have watched the first 3 episodes and I have to say compared to 90% of the crap sitcoms on T. V. the last couple of years this in my opinion is not all that horrid.

I have read quite a few reviews going on about how cringey this show is, but I think thats kind of what the writers were going for. I don't think there are a lot of shows to compare this to, I don't know if thats a good thing or not.

Anyway, its not saying much but its not the worst thing I have ever watched on network television and I may just be a cringe junkie.

Unhinged

Well... UMMMM . ugHHHH
Russel Crowe did a decent job portraying a dude that just cant take it anymore. The script could have easily been knocked out on a Sunday afternoon. was the fortnite reference meant to bring in a younger demographic..? overall a real waste, with a paint by numbers script, that couldn't be saved by a great actor.

Seriously
It seems the 2 reviews were posted by people associated with this horrid waste of cellulite, or perhaps they are just off their meds. All joking aside, this is not a movie, its at best a student film project that went horribly wrong. Sorry, just telling it like it is. With apologies to all involved with this production, Holy Crap. I hope you all go on to better projects in the future.

Interesting
Interesting show.. not really geared to my demographic being a 60 year old male but I found the pacing/cinematography/ and overall feel of the 1st episode engaging and was entertained. Kinda has the feel of "High Maintenance" would recommend based on the pilot.. will updated after a few episodes.

Gemini Man
(2019)

West Philadelphia Born and Raised.. "Seriously"
I just finished watching this movie.. I have to say umm .. I really don't know what to say.. I'll start with referencing some earlier reviews trashing the screenwriter David Benioff. David has put out some stellar writing in the past... I have no idea what has transpired since then to allow this to be put out for the public to endure. Its just really bad writing .. like 1st draft writing .. I'm just floored by how this was green lighted.. thinking back to the kite runner.. Brothers.. Troy .. WTF .. I don't know what happened here.. Why did Ang Lee take this project on.. perhaps He should bare some responsibility for this mess. I guess a paycheck is a Paycheck. Why did Will Smith do this project.. Same perhaps. Maybe the machine thats Hollywood should stop insulting the viewers intelligence. I have no idea how this faired at the Box Office... Im sure it was very expensive to make .. But why .. JUST WHY...

Seriously.. This is just really bad television. Some very fine actors on top.. well at least two.. I guess its a paycheck.. This could and really should have been much better all-around. Bad writing .. Bad pacing .. basically cookie cutter Crap T.V. It all starts with the writing.. Even an A-List Director couldn't make this mess palatable

A Million Little Things
(2018)

This could and should be Good
Firstly its a very talented cast. Secondly its a very talented cast, beyond that honestly in My entire life I have never heard any conversations like the ones that are thrust upon Me while viewing this show. Some have knocked its theme as compared to other shows exploring suicide, but all that aside I really think the core problem in My opinion is the writing. Its clever, but every line is clever its a barrage of cleverness. Its just to much. I just watched the 2nd episode and I feel dizzy. With this talented group of actors this could be an amazing show. Its just to manic. Sequence after sequence, scene after scene, same pace. Writers need to give the dialogue and story flow time to breathe. PACING.. The director could play a big part in bringing this production to a palpable level but at the end of the day its all about the words and how they are put to paper.

I have just finished the 3rd episode and I have to honestly say it was decent. The manic pace, ridiculous dialogue and over cleverness of the first 2 episodes seemed to have been cleansed. It was almost as if the writing staff had a shift change and a different director took the reigns. I will give this show a chance, especially if they bring the Lovely Grace Parks character into the mix. All that being said I know good or bad this show will be a major hit. hopefully good.!!

Okay I'm not done .. after sitting through the 5th and 6th episode. My final thoughts are as follows.. the writing is just ludicrous.. its as if the staff tries to throw in every imaginable dilemma that could befall a relationship between a couple a family a group of friends. Its just absolutely ridiculous. I'm old and I have seen a lot of drama unfold in my life, but this is just to much. People just don't behave like this in the real world. Ask Yourself how much time has elapsed from the pilot to the 7th episode and then add up all the earth shattering events that have befallen this group of people.. its just not logical or believable or palatable. Its just to much to stomach. Its such a waste of a great group of acting talent for the most part.

All that being said I'm sure this show will find an audience and will be picked up for multiple seasons.
