Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood
(2019)

no spoilers
Boring boring boring even worse that the hateful eight. what has happened to tarantino.

Travelers: Trevor
(2018)
Episode 7, Season 3

Fantastic
The dinner between Trevor and Grace was poignant. I really appreciated the backstory for Trevor and his wife. The bleakness of their reality and how they saw beauty in a sliver of sun shining through the dome.

FBI
(2018)

Love Missy Peregrym
Great cast. Tired stories. I recorded on my TiVo. Basically used fast forward through much of the show. I'll watch another episode but if it is as tired and boring I will delete series from my TiVo to do list.

The Post
(2017)

Finally watched The Post
Thank God for fast forward.

Yes I understand the significance of the story but this film seemed to be more about the agony that a few rich people endured while wrestling with the idea that to publish was the morally correct thing to do.

No where in this movie did it sufficiently drive home the fact that millions of people died while rich people got richer and politicians complicity lied to the people to save face.

Bob Odenkirk was brilliant in the portrayal of his character. Otherwise boring performances all around.

NCIS: New Orleans: High Stakes
(2018)
Episode 19, Season 4

Wow I accidentally watched this episode
Felt like I watching general hospital Wooden acting Just horrible

Das letzte Schweigen
(2010)

the name says it all
being a fan of Ulrich Thomsen i knew this film would be good. the story of course is first rate but the cinematography and locations used instantly create a suspension of disbelief.

to me the silence is about obsession and loneliness, not just for the criminals, but every prominent supporting cast member's role. the original crime wasn't just the crime but the obsession with impressing his new friend. of course his new friend was impressed just in an unexpected manner.

years of silence and toil and shame and denial and obsession later and a dark plan is hatched. highly recommend watching a couple of times, even more intense the second time.
