Aside from Steven Segal, NO ONE has hands faster and is better at the azz kicking business like Jason Statham! This movie gave me action all the way through and not one time did I feel bad about all the bad "bees" he put down! They deserved it!

I'm the biggest Statham fan and aside from a few flops (think Crank 1 & 2 and Blitz) this was definitely one of my favorite Statham films! He didn't disappoint! He gave me John Wick, Equalizer all The Punisher all rolled into one! From the beginning till the end, it was fast paced, kept me engaged and really had me rooting for his mission to teach bad people (scammers) about preying on our most vulnerable...the elderly.

Although I hate Phylicia Rashad wasn't in the movie long, it really broke my heart to know that what was portrayed in this film happens everyday....good, hard working people scammed out of their life savings by people who have no conscience! Anyone who scams people should watch this and be scared because they could meet the very same fate! They will scam the wrong person! This is a must see for sure!

Although not as gore filled as the others, I really liked this movie, especially because it gives John's backstory. I was completely lost at first as I didn't realize that the events in this movie takes place between Saw 1 & Saw 2 so after watching this movie, I went back and watched Saw 1, then this movie then Saw 2 and it made perfect sense so I definitely recommend you watch Saw 1 FIRST then Saw X then Saw 2 to fully understand Saw X.

Again, it was a good movie but...

Because it's a prequel, that would put John Kramer and Amanda 20 years younger. However, because this movie was made 20 years too late, John & Amanda clearly look wayyy too old and bad at that. John looks his true 80 and throwing a wig on a 50 or 60 year old woman doesn't make her 20! It was a huge distraction but aside from this, the movie was good! I just wish they'd made the prequel earlier like 15 years ago!

I've had this movie on my Amazon prime for months and finally decided to buy it. WTF? Not really sure why the ratings are ao high but this was a snooze fest! I love Charlize Theron and female assassin movies but this was sooo boring! The trailer was much better! If you want girl assassin, action and a plot you can understand, there are better ones out there. My top recommendations: Ava, Wanted, Columbiana, Salt, Proud Mary or the absolute best bad azz girl assassin movie of all time...A Long Kiss Goodnight. This movie was a decent watch if it's free and a you something to put you to sleep but definitely not worth paying for!

Let me start off by saying that I don't like to watch English dubbed movies and at first opted against watching this but went back to watch it and boy am I glad I did. After setting the audio to English, I enjoyed this movie from start to finish.

There was never a dull moment and the puzzles and guesswork kept me asking "what is the motive behind it all?"

And that twist? Now THAT is what a twist is supposed to be! This movie is categorized a suspense and that is exactly what it is. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this movie! I think I'll find more foreign movies to watch, aa long as they are English dubbed. LOL.

Hands down the best movie of the year! I can only imagine that all the low reviews are from people of the Caucasian persuasion who again whine whenever something positive and factual about Black people is exposed! Stop it already. This movie is a 10!

I was shocked to know that Maria Bello wrote this! Kudos to her for celebrating an enriched African culture that most Black people didn't know of, myself included!

This movie exudes girl power, strength, power, sisterhood, culture and knowledge and the fact that it's based on true events makes it even sweeter! I will make sure that all of my nieces and little black girls I know watch it!

The 1st thing that had me looking cross-eyed at the concept this movie that had me wondering if I was gonna be wasting my time was seeing Cage's character released from prison at NIGHT! Where do they do that at? Then the 2nd thing that made me question my choice was seeing his son "meet" him not only in the dark but walking! From where?!

But it gets better. It really does. It is somewhat slow but is saved by the bonding efforts made by Cages character to rebuild his relationship with his now grown son and to make up for loss time, the potential of him finding love again and the fact that he does knock off a few people. Oh yeah, and of course a twist (who doesn't love a good twist right?)

So all in all, it was good. Not worth watching again not a waste of a rental fee.

First off, I'm sick of remakes being made of classics and being poorly done. This movie, like the new candy man is awful! Zac Effron is barely out of puberty and we're supposed to picture him as a dad? Who picked this cast? Why was this even allowed past pre-production? This movie was such a disappointment! Please don't waste your time or your money renting it or Firestarter Rekindled for that fact.

I watched it free on Peacock and couldn't get past the first 20 minutes. Snooze fest! I'm sure Drew is NOT pleased! If you wanna fall asleep, this is the perfect mo in for you to watch as it will have you asleep in no time.

Instead of the sexy Frank Grillo from the Purge movies, he is as unrecognizable in this film as Colin Farrell is in playing the Penguin in the new Batman with Robert Pattinson (yep, that's handsome Colin underneath those scars and long nose). Anyhoo, this movie was good. Some comedic moments but the action starts about 30 minutes in and the movie takes off from there. Besides Gerard Butler also being in the cast, a shining star of the movie is the bad assery of the sista in the movie. Although the action is good, my favorite part is when the singing hit man enters the scene. He's hilarious! Great movie.

This movie is the twister of all twisters and the absolute highlight of the movie is the performance of Timothy Olyphant who plays the military radical. The vibe between he and his onscreen love is one that we all should want. A survivalist boyfriend who is a protector, hunter and provider and a woman whose personality and survivalist skills compliment his character.

I've seen this movie 3x and each time, it's like watching it for the first time...edge of my seat! Sure the audience is intentionally lied to but who cares? This movie is good and has a great cast. Watch it. You won't be disappointed.

Let me first say, it has a lot of action and I especially love a good female fighter lead. That's it. The only thing that is the same in this movie is the color Ben of their fighting suits.

What's bad? Too much. The action didn't come from Iko Uwais! How do you have him in a movie and he not kick ass like he did in Mile 22? Aside from the fact that the so called "origins" is nothing like the origins that was told in Rise of Cobra where Snake eyes and storm shadow grew up as brothers as opposed to this film, the motive behind their rivalry was also different in rise of Cobra than this film, Snake eyes not only talks throughout the entire film (which he doesn't do in any of the other films) and there is absolutely no explanation at the end of the film that leads to why he took a vow of silence but biggest disappointment in this film is that unlike the other films, snake eyes is not a 100% good guy in this film and that it's really not a GI Joe movie just because of a few similar character name and a cobra painted on a box.

This would have been much better had it not been a GI Joe Movie and just a different action movie. Oh, the female joe? Whack!

This was one of the first movies that every scared me as an adult and when I say "scared" I'm talking about light on the rest of the night scared! Not sure why the ratings are low but this is now one of my favorite horror movies. It has the scares, the backstory, and decent acting so I loved it. If it scared the crapbout of me in my 30s, kids under 12 will DEFINITELY have nightmares after watching this movie!

Not sure why the low reviews but this is actually a decent action flick. I wouldn't pay for it but if you can find it for free, it's worth a watch. A lot of action.

I've seen this movie at least a dozen times and I enjoy it every time! From Samuel Jackson's comedic lines to Geena Davis' kicking ass, you will not be disappointed! The only bad part? There isn't a sequel! Haven't seen it? What are you waiting for? GO WATCH IT!

Not sure why the super low ratings but it wasn't a bad movie. Sure it's corny but there is some merit to the fact that whackjobs cab indeed the use the internet to hunt and stalk us so I found it to be plausible and entertaining. Worth a watch.

Not sure why Ruth Negga was chosen for this part but no white person or black person with eyes could miss that she looked black! A high yella black but she didn't look white no matter the amount of pasty white makeup they put on her! And how could anyone actually believe Tessa Thomas could walk in a white only store and not be seen as a high yella black woman. Are they blind?

I couldn't even focus on the movie whenever Ruth was in a scene because of that horrible pasty makeup. Jennifer Beals, Maya Rudolph or even Rashida Jones would've been better casted for this role because despite being biracial, they actually look white!

The movie is watchable but the casting of Ruth Negga was horrible!

This was a good movie. Not as much buttkicking as Taken but still a great movie that keeps you entertained. Liam always guarantees a good movie so not sure why all the negative reviews. Worth a watch.

Sure the timeline is messed up as the main character should be older since the headstones say it's 2012 but aside from that and that cheezy line "do your thing cuz", I thought it was a good movie. I was entertained.

I got the free trial of Peacock Premium just to watch this movie for free so I can't complain too much but where is a 2021 Cujo, Pumpkinhead and Man's Best Friend when you REALLY need a good ole horror movie?

I have never seen a horror movie filled with so many black folk who don't run! We don't stick around to GET killed but these black folk are a different breed. ALL the folk in this movie, black and white, are just itching to die! No common sense at all! They are shooting out the windows of a car being attacked by Michae but are locking the doors, staying IN the car while he attacks someone inside, running AWAY from a car that has the keys in it, are shooting themselves in the face, staying INSIDE a house that has in it upstairs but instead of going out the door and calling the cops the stay inside and lock the doors and are standing in front of an open door screaming instead of getting the hell on! WTH? I like that some characters from the original 78 film have returned but this film is such a disappointment.

All previous had Jamie Lee's character in the light of a bad ass who was finally gonna get Michael but she is nothing but a frail, gray haired old lady running around and rambling and is confined to a hospital bed most of the film! How do you bring Laurie Strode back and doesn't even make her the bad ass or at least let us see her stab him a few good times? Geez! It's time to hang this franchise up permanently!

The title says it all. This movie will leave you utterly confused. This must've been the part project of someone because it is all over the place and a complete waste of time. WTF was I thinking?

You cab always predict the outcome when a bunch of entitled Americans fail to hear the warnings given by foreign locals about their local legends.

It wasn't the scariest. It wasn't the best but it was watchable. How she got through such cold weather without gloves and only 1 layer of clothing was beyond me but that was just a minor overlook in details. The movie is worth a watch though.

If you are looking for the 2021 Ashley Greene movie "The Apparition", this ain't it. This movie is crap. The 2012 ain't an Oscar but not as frappy as this one that is set in th he 70s.

I loved this movie! I usually don't care for Tiffany Haddish movies, but I enjoyed the girl power theme of this movie. Melissa McCarthy looks fabulous! I love the weight loss but glad she hasn't lost so much that she looks sick. If you like gangster AND crime movies and a little twist, you will like this movie. It's not an Oscar winner but definitely worth a watch.

I really wanted to know like this movie but it was slow and then when he finally appeared on screen, I could no longer stomach watching it. OMG! Why doesn't he know when enough is enough? Mickey Rourke's face looks like something out of House of Wax!

Although dealing with a sensitive issue, this movie AKA Retaliation, was dreadfully long and boring. I watched this solely on the trailer. I should've just watched the trailer 50 times. The only good part was the last 10 minutes of the movie. Don't waste your time.

I don't understand why this movie received low ratings but I am glad I ignored them. I knew I liked this actress when I watched her in Hitman and the November man, She definitely needs to do more action and femme fatale movies. She was NOT to be played with! You will not be disappointed. Action. Fight scenes. Baddass lead! Kurylenko and Shah had great on screen partner chemistry. watch this.
