The Boys
(2019)

Inspired by Batman v/s Superman but way better than that.
This is just one of the original and fantastic ones ever made. Fantasy mixed with politics and all. Binge watching it.

High End Yaariyaan
(2019)

High End Yarriyan, but low end movie.
Crappy storyline. Dull acting. Meaningless dialogues. You can predict that the film will be awful after watching the trailer. Punjabi Cinema is experimenting with new stories, but this one is just same story with a different name. Clearly budget was huge but they invested in the wrong script. Ninja is just worst among the three, Bawa is still acceptable in certain ways. May be five years back this would have been successful.

Thugs of Hindostan
(2018)

Something worse than Dhoom 3.
Hey it was Diwali and I instead of fire crackers let's watch this crap and burn money. Trailer made the big revelation that this will be a big flop, but went just for Amir Khan. This was a huge letdown. VFX are millions of lightyears away from the ones Hollywood uses.

Namaste England
(2018)

ALVIDA ENGLAND.
I've stopped reviewing good movies, 'cause they don't require reviews. I wanted to watch VENOM but due to some unfortunate circumstances I had to watch this awful disaster that people assume is a film. The story was just something teenagers come up with in their wild daydreams. I guess Race 3 was still better in comparison to this. There's a new competition, that who'll come up with the most flawed and shitty story and acting skills. Wastage of time.

Loveyatri
(2018)

A serious advice. Don't watch it.
DON'T WATCH IT.

(Adding words, 'cause the review was too short and too blunt).

Manto
(2018)

Superbly well made.
After reading Thanda Gohsht I was mesmerised by the literary style and excellence of Sadat Hasan Manto. This movie has been a good portrayal of Manto's life. Manto was a literary genius who transformed literature forever. Impressed by movie and obviously flawless acting of Nawaz. They could have made it a little more better (but there's always room for improvement and critics will always find something to blame). But overall it was a great journey watching this movie and experiencing a view in Manto's life and his thinking(although it feels like grotesque and abominable). Do watch it.

Paltan
(2018)

The Parmanu effect.
No spoilers(the film is already spoiled). Well first things first, this film clearly screams that it should be given an equal status as of Parmanu. Not that this is similar to that but the overall concept that how India won defeating an intimidating foe(China) is same. The production budget seems quite low and the acting is below average. They just had to add the scene where officers' wives beg them to stay(similar to 'Border'). It's like the filmmakers were debating whether to add the war sequences or just make it a psychological film.

Karenjit Kaur - The Untold Story of Sunny Leone
(2018)

Overhyped and overdramatised.
It's like a phase where everyone is making biopics, and adding too much drama and unrealistic elements hoping they'll be creating something new. And about that dialogue where she says that the difference is guts, that's just awful. What takes real guts is when people work hard and don't find the easy way(pornography). They would rather work minimum paying jobs than go for the easy way. It's like she's trying to gather sympathy and justification for the life choices she made.

Dhadak
(2018)

A flop debut.
If you are a star kid, with experienced people from Film industry to guide you, shouldn't you star in a movie which at least makes some sense(at least script wise, if not acting wise)? It's like a part of a Masaan has been taken and powdered with usual useless waste. The trailer was bad but the film is even worse. Privilege can only take you this far.

Soorma
(2018)

Good but not great.
Diljit has done a fine job and so have other actors as the script presented a great opportunity with a whole lot of things to potray in Sandeep's life. This was missing in Harjeeta. Soorma is based on real life and real struggles of a hockey player who battles the odds to rise again. Diljit has improved a lot as an actor. He should do more movies that offer strong and intimidating roles like Sandeep Singh, rather than doing movies like Welcome to New York.

Hichki
(2018)

Okay.
It's a bollywood remake of a film called "Front of the class". The characterisation is not so good, but the theme was good. If they just kept the view of Indian schools it would have been a better movie. The theme that unprivileged children if given opportunity can also succeed is great. I expected more but still it's okay.

Race 3
(2018)

Why? Just why?
I don't know what kind of mental conditions these people are suffering from, who are rating this movie 10/10. Why couldn't they just make it simple why this whole addition of crap. Just another crappy amalgamation of the movies which had a better script. I just don't think Salman will make any sensible movies in which he just acts good and doesn't just say mindless dialogues.

Veere Di Wedding
(2018)

Don't watch it.
It's just unbearable to watch Sonam Kapoor. The script seems like it has borrowed.. nay.. plagiarised from other Hollywood movies and tried hopelessly to give it a Bollywood makeover. I could go on but that would be equally waste of time.

Baaghi 2
(2018)

Great physique but story is crap.
Just because you add too many action scenes doesn't necessarily assure that the movie will be a great one. Same nonsense story over-hyped action sequences same thing as salman khan but with a better physique. Hopefully Tiger will do better films than these dumb ones.

The Past
(2018)

Terrible.
Just horrible. Really crappy ghost, waste of time. It's like they have borrowed from other horror movies and then added their own despicable script in the mixture. Don't watch it.

Gumnaam
(1965)

Injustice to one of the greatest mystery novel.
As bollywood has done before they've ruined the movie by adding their own element and disrupting the entire story. They reversed the role of the protagonist. Plot was twisted but in a awful way.
