EXTRAORDINARY DETAIL! Julian fellows is a Maestro that has harnessed the talent of so many people in every single detail of this series!!!! I can say I'm not surprised, but this series is nothing short of spectacular and more breathtaking in each episode !

I'm seriously watching thinking how lucky we are to watch this time in history as if we are right there. The detail is really everything! I watch ALL of the extras after the episode etc. I just can't get enough!!!! BRAVO to the ENTIRE TALENTED CAST AND CREW!!!!

2 Stars. Honestly, I came here for the reviews. I had to sit this train wreck through though, because the attempt at this being a serious psychological thriller, has provided me with much needed bursts of gaffes.

I'm a huge Henry Cavill fan, and find no fault with him. But this movie was ridiculous and had so much potential. I love Victorian era movies, and this was just bad acting and plot. Waste of great scenery, costumes, and actors.

I've loved this movie since it came out when I was 12 in 1992! It is endless fun! Beautiful costumes and scenery (same Castle also used in the Showtime series The Tudors), and still holds up with today's movies. The acting is fantastic. You wouldn't think Tom Cruise could pull off an Irish accent, but he does and he's fabulous, as is Nicole Kidman.

If you especially love Gangs of New York like I do, you'll love this too!

I was 19 when the original came out in 1999 and can honestly say I'm super offended. 🤚

-Addison doesn't annoy me, but whilst beautiful, like able, gf can't act.

• I like Kourtney but again, NOT an actress. I was surprised easy lines were sooo forced. 😬 I mean she DOES have 10+ yrs more experience around a camera/crew than Addison, why was it so hard?.

-definitely could have found someone from the original movie that would have fit that role better -I'm scared for the future of our youth.

I took away 3 stars because Brad Pitt and Minnie Driver with fake NY accents should be illegal. They were sooo cringeworthy awful. . (Being from the tristate area I know).

• It was comforting to read in the trivia that Brad Pitt confessed to not doing the role justice.

-Robert DeNiro was flawless. He was a great believable neighborhood priest. Nice to see him and Bruno Kirby (RIP) together after they starred side by side in The Godfather 2. (young Vito Corleone and Clemenza respectively) -also regarding DeNiro and Kirby, in The Godfather 2, they played younger versions of characters. Just like the premise of this film.

-Great OVERALL cast -Great story, suspenseful -I think type casting a should have been used here for the feel of genuine New Yorkers.

-Can't believe I NEVER heard of this EVER!! 1996!!

That's it? Seriously? I notice another review I agree with is that the trailer is as exciting as it gets. We get no answers! No satisfaction. Its just ridiculous. Um, Jills "massive head wound Harry", gash she gets in the beginning, comes and goes. I totally get it, you want to see what the Bleep is up with the selectivity, and electricity. Save your time, cuz we'll never know. Not one obstacle in this film relating to the topic, is ever addressed.

Awful, ridiculous, waste of time! I came here just to agree and warn. There can be a minute by minute critique on this of its nonsense. Worse than a lifetime movie directed by a kindergarten class. WASTE OF TIME.

Very boring lacking in anything substantial. So much potential. Very vague. Only 2 episode so I'll give it a chance and review again.

Grew up with ok'd school Rocky, so the story line was great. OMG Michael B. Jordan Is. BEAST !!!!! He is AMAZING!!!! It was so good! Stallone as a producer/writer whatever, made the emotional connections so stunning and let MBJ do his thing. In wasn't "about Rocky". MBJ is one heck of a beautiful actor and man!!!!!!! This movie is also heartbreaking and heart warning.

I just hit the middle of the movie and it is so boring. Makes no sense whatsoever. Just a lot of Russell Crowe thinking in the dark. I watched because although it's from 2010, it's trending in the US today......why? Beats me...I feel like I've been watching this movie for 3 days

I noticed some other viewers and I share similar experiences. First 25 min I was in. And I too found it confusing af when I've watched these genres of film. And I had to stop watching and find something else. Also why is JGL unrecognizable? I may have missed why because I was like "what am I watching?" Super confusing

What the bleep am I watching?! I thought this was a legit documentary. This could have easily been made on his smart phone. The "narrator" is like listening to Burl Ives and drones on and on. He oddly wears the same outfit for every scene, when this was clearly filmed over weeks. I was expecting a real documentary and this was weird. Like this man made this for his YouTube channel. This is like a school project narrative by someone's centenarian grandpa. Oh and they praise Trump a lot (eye roll & barff).

I watched this because I was waiting for them to identify Trump as the antichrist!! Nope they praise him. This documentary is as effective as tryptophan. It's obviously about religion and politics, but not in a good way. Had some historical potential but was super ridiculous and uncomfortable because it seemed to have an agenda to promote Christianity. I'm RC and it made me uncomfortable.

Ok, I knew this was awful as soon as I saw their version of "Kris Jenner & Faye Resnick". I felt just as bad for them. Their intro was like an SNL skit! And Nicole and Faye getting intimate is a "thing"???? How exploitative and crude to Nicole's friends & family. This is a giant WTF and how it was made on showtime baffles me. Watch it like the train wreck as you must, we're all guilty, but beware. Maybe fall asleep watching this lifetime/SNL skit of a movie so you don't loose legit time off your life.

Seriously so disrespectful for the victims and their families. Even filmed at the scenes. Trash!

This was so bad!!!! It's a tranquilizer with a bad southern accent!! I made it through just to verify the other bad reviews. Christina Ricci plays a better "southern belle" in "Z-the beginning of everything" about the wife of F.Scott Fitzgerald.

I just want to say that as someone who enjoys historical dramas very much, especially in the Victorian and Edwardian errors, I couldn't wait to love this movie. But I keep pausing it because I am SO BORED! And I'm irritated that I spent $3.99 to rent this on Prime Video. I got all my snacks set up ready to watch my favorite type of movie, and right now I am paused at 52:08 and I'm not even halfway through, God help me, there's 59:16 left. But since I rented it I'm going to watch it maybe it'll put me to sleep. Wow I'm super disappointed this movie could've been so much more but it is droning on. This does not contain spoilers because the movie spoils itself.

This movie was dreadful. I was surprised that with that such beautiful scenery in Malta, they couldn't have made better use of scenes. Besides that, it was a drag omg. It felt like it was trying to hard to be "noir" like. I just felt it was very empty for a film that's supposed to be so profound and deep.

I can't believe this was made in 2018/19, and someone thought the acting was passable!?!?!? Omg. I'm 1/4 in, had to pause and write this. But like any train wreck, I gotta watch to the end. Acting is terrible, laughable, inauthentic, omg what is this messsss!!!This movie is disrespectful to their memories. Some of the side characters are good. But Ava, honey nooooo.

He is brilliant! It blows my mind that I work in the heart of Newark and drive past Mosque 25 every single day. And now I know the real truth about, and the deep truths in to Malcolm's life!! What a beautiful man was taken from us. This series is addicting and satisfying and frustrating in so many ways at the same time. I never comment on series but this one just blew my mind into 1 million pieces!!! And I'm so glad I know so much more about Malcolm X. , Although this is terrifyingly so heartbreaking for his family I hope that so many people can watch this now and understand who he really was.He lives on. This documentary alone brings him justice via the validity of your research!! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Mr. Muhammad
