Hazbin Hotel
(2019)

Too much
There's just way too much going on in this show. So many characters and nearly zero character development. We barely know the main cast, and constantly have new characters thrown at us and it doesn't feel like most of them are necessary. I'm pretty sure an 8 episode run would be better served by focusing on the main cast and the threat from Heaven and Adam the entire time.

Star Trek: Picard: Farewell
(2022)
Episode 10, Season 2

Feels good, is good.
There's a saying about music: sounds good, is good. I wish more people could apply this philosophy to TV and Movies. Picard is a great Star Trek show, and I believe that because it feels great to watch it. This season was just as good as the last and this finale was wonderful. Read some reviews complaining about scientific accuracy and realism? Dudes, it's Star Trek. How are we not all getting what this is by now? Anyway, regardless of all that, the finale wrapped up well. We get a very touching farewell to Q and young Mr. Crusher is back! He's old now though. Interested to see where that's going with Kore Soong. Speaking of Soongs, I guess Doc Soong goes on to create that pesky genetically engineered human known as KHAAAAAANN! Agnes getting stuck as a borg queen is kind of a bummer when you think that this all happened just to give JL some closure on his mom's suicide. But then it turns out it's also to save the entire quadrant from destruction, so yeah fair trade! As if all that wasn't enough for one finale, now the borg are searching for the race that's building the trans-warp network because they're the real big threat and maybe the borg are joining the federation? Wild. Oh and my favorite Romulan Ninja is back from the dead. Can't wait for next season.

Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father
(2022)
Episode 10, Season 1

Some will never be happy
LOTS of hate on this finale. I don't get it. This is how Dexter had to end. Dead. It's how it should've ended the first time. I've read 2 reviews complaining that it's out of character for him to kill the coach/deputy. Well, he didn't kill him. It was an ACCIDENT! Also, Dexter has killed good people to save himself. Don't get caught. He finally comes to terms with the fact that he's a bad person, and all the pain inflicted on everyone he cared for is because of him. Of course he had to die. I think Harrison was maybe not the best choice to do it, though it was poetic and the impact of the finale line in the letter was heavy. Might have made more sense to have Angela kill him. Anyway, I'm happy they finally ended Dexter the only way it makes sense. By ending Dexter.

Z Nation: Heartland
(2018)
Episode 8, Season 5

I'm no brain surgeon
But I am positive you can't continue to walk around and talk with half your brain missing. Dude is still talking and singing with one tiny chunk left in his head? I know what this show is, I get it, but this is just too far. Absolutely stupid.

Only Murders in the Building: The Boy from 6B
(2021)
Episode 7, Season 1

Eh, it mostly works but not totally
Great concept and mostly done well, but Charles and Jan's date doesn't work. Having no dialogue in those scenes feels forced and not believable. Everything else is great! Everyone in every other scene is deaf or sneaking around so it's fantastic. Should've left the date for another episode.

Kevin Can F**k Himself
(2021)

Wow, how are some people so clueless?
I'm sorry, but every single one star review here was written by an absolute idiot. If you are even slightly intelligent you should be able to understand the concept of this show, and you might like it. It's clever, but not so clever that it should go over so many heads. They really nail the style for the parody sitcom part, and the contrasting darkness of Allison's reality is also done really well. If you're not a complete moron give it a shot.

Frank of Ireland
(2021)

Hilarious. Seriously.
I really don't understand how anyone could say this isn't funny.

Wonder Woman 1984
(2020)

It's as bad as everyone said
Believe the negative reviews. I figured it would be bad, but couldn't have imagined how bad. The terrible choices just keep getting worse as it goes on. At first you might think it's not so bad or maybe ok. It's not. By the end, it's the worst super hero movie ever made. Hands down.

Stargate SG-1: The Road Not Taken
(2007)
Episode 13, Season 10

Clearly running out of ideas
Second episode in a row centered around the Merlin device and I've lost count on how many alternate universe/dimension episodes we've had at this point. Nice to see General Hammond again though.

Stargate SG-1: Forever in a Day
(1999)
Episode 10, Season 3

Huh?
So, if the end part when he re-joins SG1 was all in Daniel's head then why do we still see Jack and Sam and Teal'c after Daniel leaves them through the Stargate? This episode was a mess, and it's pretty disappointing that after everything Sha're is killed. Pretty crappy way to end that for Daniel's character.

Locke & Key: Crown of Shadows
(2020)
Episode 10, Season 1

If you think ep 9 was bad...
What an insulting wrap-up. And that's how this ends, it's literally a wrap-up. The writers think we're very stupid. It's the only explanation for that ending. A series of flashbacks is just lazy writing.

Locke & Key
(2020)

Could've Been Good, But Meh
Lazy, hacky writing has turned a promising premise into a pretty mediocre show. It's still OK to pass the time. Definitely nothing special, and that's disappointing because with better writing it could've been good. Watch it if you've run out of anything else on your list.

Animaniacs: Bun Control/Ex Mousina/Bloopf
(2020)
Episode 4, Season 1

Subtle!? Seriously, dude?
Another review here is griping about lack of subtlety in an animaniacs cartoon. JFC, my eyes just rolled into my lower intestines. Also, if you think subtlety is what's going to get a message supporting sanity across to gun loving "patriotic" tRump cult members, I just can't even.

Supernatural: Carry On
(2020)
Episode 20, Season 15

Just Pretend It Ended On Episode 19
This is basically the ending of Six Feet Under, but if it were written by 4th graders. Seriously, take out the vampires, and it's exactly the same. Also, Six Feet Under ended 15 years ago, and the hair and makeup used to age people in that episode looks light-years ahead of what they did to Sam here. Episode 19 makes a better ending. Shoulda just let them retire and live out their lives after saving the world from Chuck. This ending was just embarrassing.

The Haunting of Bly Manor: The Beast in the Jungle
(2020)
Episode 9, Season 1

Awful Ending
Truly crap ending to a pretty mediocre show. There were a few good episodes, but the end was garbage. So much Deus ex machina in the finale. You, me, us? 🙄

Adventure Time: Distant Lands
(2020)

"Real Fans" 🙄
So sick of these "Real Fans". Seems like every show's got them, and they all suck. Just because you love something, doesn't mean it belongs to you, or you're somehow more "real" of a fan. These "Real Fans" always think any changes made to their beloved show are an abomination. Hey Real Adventure Time Fan, you know that Fin and Jake story ended right? It was 10 seasons long and wonderful the entire time, up to and including the ending. This is a new story and it's different. Different can be good, and this is good so far. To everyone else, if you liked Adventure Time and aren't an insufferable tool, you'll probably like this. Give it a shot.

Penny Dreadful
(2014)

Nearly perfect
From start to finish, Penny Dreadful is wonderful. It's rare that a show feels like it knows what it is from start to finish, and this one does that excellently. Don't miss out.

Vagrant Queen: Nobody's Queen
(2020)
Episode 3, Season 1

It's still good, but
If Issac and Amae had that Jeep thing, why didn't they just drive the heck outta there in it? Instead he just uses it as a distraction so they can update their robot and try to fly the ship over? Makes zero sense.

Devs: Episode #1.8
(2020)
Episode 8, Season 1

Perfect 👌
I was getting really worried about the ending around 20 min out. Totally saw it going another direction. Garland totally nailed it though.

Vagrant Queen
(2020)

It's all on purpose
If you don't like this show, it's not because it's bad. All the things people seem dislike about Vagrant Queen are by design. It's a campy space opera and the way it looks and the dialogue are what they are intentionally. It's not bad, but it might just not be for you. It's been a long time since a show like this has been on the air so younger viewers probably won't get it. It's fun and funny in a corny way, and if you like weird sci-fi shows from the late 80's / early 90's, you should give it a shot. Yeah, it's not The Expanse, but who cares? That show got picked up by Amazon and it's better than ever.

Haven: The Hand You're Dealt
(2010)
Episode 10, Season 1

Not exactly an anti-bullying PSA
So, kid gets bullied and turns violent because of it. Audrey's solution is to bully him until his head literally explodes? They don't even try to help the troubled kid like they do with every other troubled person. Pretty F'd up.

Brockmire: The Long Offseason
(2020)
Episode 8, Season 4

Perfect
What an perfect way to end an amazing show. This season was hilarious and I usually hate a time jump, but the way it's done here is fantastic. The wrap up is beautiful. Really going to miss Brockmire.

Bones: The 200th in the 10th
(2014)
Episode 10, Season 10

Good Fun!
Everyone rating this badly I feel sorry for you. Such lack of imagination and just grumpy spirits. And the guy complaining about the size of the dinosaur? Seriously? If you've watched this show for 9+ seasons and still somehow think you deserve scientific accuracy, like WTF?

Star Trek: Picard: Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 2
(2020)
Episode 10, Season 1

Waaaaaaahhhhhhhh
So tired of these crybabies complaining about the new Star Trek shows not being "real Star Trek". It's so boring. Go back down to your mom's basement and rewatch your TNG DVDS for the millionth time. The rest of us who can grasp the concept of times changing and story telling keeping up with those times will continue to enjoy Star Trek in all of it's different and wonderful forms. Picard season one was awesome and I really hope for more. If you have an imagination I advise you to give this show a chance.

Medical Police
(2020)

Not quite Childrens Hospital
But still very funny. Almost as funny as the people rating this 1 star who just clearly don't get it. I feel sorry for everyone who has such a narrow and basic sense of humor. It's called satire people. SMH 🙄
