Midsomer Murders: Things That Go Bump in the Night
(2004)
Episode 1, Season 8

Storyline ERROR
Tom Barnaby is a Chief Inspector and NOT a Superintendent, as stated.

I cannot see how I can edit and therefore amend entries in the Storyline section.

Hetty Wainthropp Investigates: Fisticuffs
(1997)
Episode 4, Season 3

Storyline ERROR
The car driver is Magda Devlin and NOT Janet Frazer. Janet is the car mechanic who later becomes Geoffrey.'s girlfriend.

I cannot see an option to enable me to amend an error in the Storyline, so have put it here in the hope that it will be picked up, and the error rectified.

The Mind of Mr. J.G. Reeder: The Willing Victim
(1971)
Episode 5, Season 2

Another good tale, with an unusual twist
Excellent story again; where Reeder has to call upon all his usual guile in order to clear his name from an impending charge of murder. Nice to see an early appearance of Geoffrey Hughes, and unusual to see Madeleine Smith, fully clothed AND in a dress with a high neckline...

Vengeance
(1984)

Was it really worth it?
I can only assume this was made as a film project, and cost little.. It was totally predictable after a few minutes from its start. A complete waste of time - which was nearer 30 mins than the 20 stated..... Absolutely nothing positive to say, the Storyline sums it up in a sentence, which equals the Plot Summary.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three
(1974)

I couldn't agree more...
... with ntvnyr30's rating, review and associated comments. This film is certainly in my Top Twenty of all-time favourites - although with my advancing years, I probably need to expand this list to 25 or even more... (I wouldn't want to try and rank the list, as the films cross several genres and therefore are not really comparable). One of my all time favourite lines has to be that when Lt. Garber meets Insp. Daniels for the first time face-to-face. I too find re-makes falling short of the originals, or earlier versions - Assault on Precinct 13, The Fog, The 39 Steps et al. Unfortunately not being a reader, I often wonder how the book and film interpretation compare - even allowing for all the differences inherent in the differing mediums! Certainly in The 39 Steps the Robert Powell version is quite different from that of the Robert Donat and Kenneth More versions. Even the Travolta/ Washington P123 is quite different from the Matthau/ Shaw original.

The Old Dark House
(1963)

I agree with Snake-666....
This film is definitely worth a higher rating, although of it's time, it is funny, not side-splitting or laugh-out-loud, but quaint in it's way, and Fenella Fielding is always worth watching - not quite up to 'Carry On Screaming', but as delectable and sexy as ever...

And in the final scenes, she most certainly says "Daddy" and NOT "Danny", as suggested in Goofs.
