We have seen this style movie over and over. The action was serious with the A cast and slapstick stupid with the B cast. It was fast paced with no teeth, it was hard to root for either side. Epic fail for realism, epic fail for comedy. Even jLo could not carry this film into our hearts. PS- jLo what's up with this dark spray tan and heavy bronzer, your heavy make up was distracting to the storyline. It just did not sell the hell you wanted your viewers to feel.

Messy at best, shallow at worst. Scenes were transactional which left no room to engage the viewer on any level of emotional level. I felt left at the bus station with an overwhelming load of boredom.

Factual or not, whether 99% or 9%, this series gets us talking. It shines the light on THESE women who are torn between who we want them to be, who they are expected to be who they choose to be. It is refreshing to have a series take a point of view such as this and wash it thru multiple decades. It is not only timeless it relevant.
