Operation Mincemeat
(2021)

Very good film
A very entertaining film based upon true story. Obviously well researched. Good acting all round. I liked the sub plots they added to the story. This film is well worth watching.

Chloe
(2022)

What a waste of time.
Absolutely a waste of time, convoluted unfathomable, deleted the final episode half an hour before the end of it. No wonder the BBC is going to lose funding if they produce this level of dross. The most forgettable drama inthe last 10 years.

Landscapers
(2021)

Some ridiculous reviews.
Very gripping from the beginning. The journey of the murder are told, it has dark humor that if it was written as a drama would be unbelievable. Sending civil emails to the Police arranging to be arrested, that wouldn't be well written if it was a drama, because it is a real case these absurd things happen. Some people need to be drip fed stuff and don't like the absurdity of reality, they have no understanding of quality.

Gotti
(2018)

Not good really
I found this film a bit disjointed really. Unfortunately I kept comparing this film to the film about Gotti starring Armand Assesnte which was superior.

Bloodlands
(2021)

A good story
My wife and I enjoyed Bloodlands, it is not bad as some of the reviews suggest. Television is to educate inform and entertain. This being a drama it is entertainment, and entertain it did. Certainly some of the critics watch it and then decide at the end it is no good, if they don't like it from early on then turn it off. Screenwriters shouldn't be put off by half baked reviews that are written by those who wish to grumble about anything.

Golden Years
(2016)

A grand story
This film has all the hallmarks of a great British film. A cast that did the film credit. It is a film that you sit and watch and enjoy, it is not complicated at all and that is the joy of the film.

Ice Cold in Alex
(1958)

My favourite film.
I love this film, the story is a strong one and tbe cast exceptional. Although a World War 2 film the story of the relationships between the characters drives this film. It benefits from being a proper story that is believable and not a gung ho American take on the world with a bag of hand grenades and a rifle. The end is so good it's almost unique in style.

Dywizjon 303
(2018)

Highlights the Polish contribution to our liberty.
Poland often a maligned country aided the allied victory in the second world war. 303 squadron is really a great film and shows the significance of our Polish allies in the victory over the Luftwaffe. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this film.

Code 404
(2020)

Daniel May's is genuinely funny
I did enjoy this series. I downloaded all 6 and binge watched them. Daniel May is very funny indeed and along with Steven Graham they make a great duo. I liked the story because it is outside the usual format for comedy. The scene with he tazer was so funny.

Fury
(2014)

Starts on a high and deteriorates.
Started off really well and I thought that it would be in Saving Private Ryan class but descended into farce with a badly damaged tank holding off heavily armed troops with hand held anti tank weapons. I was really looking forward to watching Fury and ended up disappointed with it.

Craith
(2018)

Superb drama
Don't believe the bad reviews, they know not what they go on about. Gripping drama and watching the story develop makes this one drama not to be missed. Well acted, suspense and broodiness in abundance, keeps you transfixed.
