Take possibly the worst BBC comedy show ever, staring the least funny woman on British TV, and remake it for the US market. What could possibly go wrong? Another remake of a British show that is doomed to fail. Doubt there will be a second series.

Awful. Awful. Awful. Possibly the worst film I have seen in the last 12 months. Adam Devine is as per usual stealing a living, he is not funny and cant act and ruins everything he's in. Nothing can save this complete disaster of a movie.

Not even mildly funny. Don't waste your time. Was this some sort of contractual obligation? because I cant think of any other reason for this abomination of a show.

God I hate films that don't have a proper ending. When I watch a movie I want to get lost in it and not have to work what happened.

Half decent film totally ruined by some truly dreadful acting, especially from the girls.

Melissa McCarthy cant act, isn't funny and constantly churns out crap like this, why the hell is this allowed ?

IT'S NOT SET IN THE 80'S, THEY HAVE MOBILE PHONES. IT'S NOT IN AMERICA, NOT ALL BRITISH SCHOOLS WEAR UNIFORMS. THEY ARE IN 6TH FORM, VERY FEW 6TH FORMS WEAR UNIFORMS. IT'S A RUGBY BALL, NOT AN AMERICAN FOOTBALL.

All in all I loved it.

Would have been so much better without the Tony Danza caracter. He is just plain annoying and ruins every scene he is in.

A dreadful film, nothing redeeming at all. Very poor acting from everyone involved. Weak story that drags and drags. Cage has made some good and entertaining movies over the years but not for a very long time.

This is possibly one of the most dull films I have seen in recent times, everything happens sooooo slowly. I didn't care even a tiny bit about either of the main characters.

Awful, Awful, Awful, This acting is truly dreadful the story is even worse. Bella Thorn is just embarrassing, Samara Weaving is some sort of poor mans Margot Robbie. Do not bother with this crap. How the hell it has a 6.6 rating is beyond me, its a 2 max. There are so many better movies of this type around so why make this poor copy ?

I've just watched the first two episodes of this utter rubbish and i am left with a very bad taste in my mouth. The Uk version was rough, rude, gritty, believable. well acted, well written, well directed and worth watching, which is why it is now in its 5th season. The US version is none of these, what was the point of remaking Skins and watering it down, it totally lost its edge and the beeping of the swearing ruined it even further, they even changed the bed spread for god sake. the character of tony is not in any way believable, cassy (sorry kate) is no where near unstable enough. i don't understand why the Americans feel the need to change things, they toned down Shamless, gave Life On Mars a completely ridiculous ending and now this, LEAVE THINGS ALONE AND DO NOT MESS, i doubt very much if this will make it to a second season or even end the first.

well where do i begin. i never expected much from this film but i hoped for so much more than i got. the plot is randomly all over the place with hints of donnie darko crow bared in to make it relevant to the original(and probably the idea was to interest fans of the original). the acting is very wooden, the story is totally rambling and the end is stupid in so many ways. it seems very much like the makers have gone way out of the way to appeal to fans of the original, well i am very much one of those fans and i hated it with more than a passion, i only found out about this movie about an hour before i sat down to watch it, i wish i never found out about it.its obvious why it went straight to DVD. so if you are a fan of the original stay away from this one and just keep on loving donnie darko.

this film is truly awful, by a long way the worst film i have ever seen. if anyone gives it more than one star they are truly deluded.

how about with the incredibly bad acting.

the story which jumps all over the place.

the bad direction.

the poor dialogue.

i managed to stay with it until about 10 mins from the end and i just gave up, i had no interest if the young girl lived or died.

i could go on but i am loosing the will to live
