Without Remorse
(2021)

I hope somebody actually makes Without Remorse someday
If you just want an action movie with some plot twists, this is a fine film. Maybe worth a 6. The dialog was flat. Not sure if it was bad script or bad acting/ directing, but the characters didn't pull me in. I was not at all offended by a black John Kelly or a female spec ops commander in concept. I just didn't find these portrayals credible.

If you wanted to watch Clark's story from Tom Clancy's novels, you will have to wait. This wasn't it in any respect. Given how prominently the tie to Clancy was in the marketing, I think it's quite fair to ding them in this review for disappointing us. If you came here to watch a Tom Clancy story, especially one with as much in it as Clark's story should have, this film was a great disappointment. A four rating is overly generous in that respect. I read and agree with many of the 1 and 2 reviews.

Christmas Coach
(2019)

It gets better, but...
This one goes on the do not repeat list. The reviewers who panned the lead actress but didn't finish the movie may owe her an apology. She changed over time. The script and the directing should share the blame. It had sweet moments and scenery was nice. However, there are much better films out there. Sorry.

A Country Wedding
(2015)

One of the best...
Yeah. We all know Hallmark movies are cheesy and predictable. Some of admit that a little romantic mind candy now and then is a fine thing. This one's so good, you won't even have to feel guilty. When you need one of those feel-good films that warms your heart and makes you feel like an optimist, this is your movie. Enjoy!

Whiskey Cavalier
(2019)

It grows on you
Just read that ABC has canceled my new favorite mind candy. Booooooo ABC! I hope someone else picks it up. Yes, it's lame and annoying. But is lame and anything and lovable, like Pysch. Each week I found myself smiling and getting more into the running "bits." Enjoying the banter and growing fond of these caricatures (not a typo) It's fun, and I will miss it.
