Magical Girl Friendship Squad
(2020)

Is this Tumblr's idea of an "anime"?
This show seems like it was going for the same approach as Panty and Stocking a la Sailor Moon. We got one hero using birth control and another who happens to be a lesbian stoner. I mean, she has to be a stoner, look at her design. The main issue is that they tried too hard to pander to the progressives, precisely with the villains in some episodes. If you want to make your original works inspired by anime succeed, take my advice, and don't shoehorn your ideologies into your work, to where it feels like you're forcing us to adopt these same ideologies.

High Guardian Spice
(2021)

Feels more like a fan animation than an actual anime
Don't get me wrong. There's nothing wrong with fans making their own clips using characters from their favorite anime. The point is that not only was it branded as an "original anime", it feels like the producers of this show didn't really try hard enough to make their own original plot. A young girl trying to find her mother? Check. A group of girlfriends going to school to practice magic together? Sound familiar? We all knew how bad this was going to be when first announced, mainly because the staff didn't advertise it very well, and boy did it meet our expectations. From a bland plot, to pointless dialogue, to out-of-place voice acting, this feels like a slap in the face to anime and manga, if that's the way it was supposed to be branded as.

Tomodachi korekushon: Shinseikatsu
(2013)

This game is so much fun!
Tomodachi Life is so much fun. You get to feed your miis some good food, dress it up in a cute or cool fashion, you get to make your miis fall in love, they can get married, and have babies, too. Isn't that fun? You can also edit their voices, dye their hair your favorite color, and give then other fun items to play with. When you babysit, it's pretty hard to make the baby stop crying at first, then you get the hang of it. The rocking part is really hard, but the pat the baby's head, tickle the baby's tummy, and play peekaboo with the baby part is pretty easy depending on where the baby wants to be touched.
