I thought Shark Zone was fun. As always Dean Cochran was great! People take stuff too seriously, it's a shark movie and it was fun. There was a good guy, a bunch of bad guys and sharks attacking people. Sharks bad, people good, and don't mess with the sheriff. I'm not going to over analyze a shark movie but compared to 99% of the shark movies out there including that horrible summer vacation shark movie on television recently this one was great. Some people complained about the sound the sharks make - that was one of the fun parts about the movie. Who knows what it sounds like underwater, every time I watch some National Geographic show on sharks there is a voice over taking about what the shark is doing now. It's supposed to be scary so they put a scary kind of sound in there, that's what they pay the sound guys to do. If you want to watch a shark movie, rent this one, you could do A lot worse.

I just got through watching Air Marshal, I rented it after I saw him in Targets of Opportunity. He is hot. The movie was OK, I didn't like the special effects but Dean was great. I don't really understand the people who put down movies the way that they do. They obviously didn't have that big of a budget for this movie and they probably still made a lot of money. I looked it up and Air Marshal played in many different markets and is still on the shelf at my local Blockbuster, the girl behind the counter told me that they rented it a lot and sold a bunch of copies. People are so critical these days of people's hard work and they just enjoy sitting around with nothing to do trying to criticize people who are out there doing it. I'd give the whole movie Air Marshal about 6.5 stars but I'm giving it a 10 because I think a lot of people marked it way too low just to be funny or mean.

I liked the movie, I'm not really into the whole action thing but my boyfriend got a DVD from someone so we watched it. The movie is good but the main guy Dean Cochran is super (maybe because he looks like superman ;o) - I don't even mean Dean Cain either, he just looks like he should play superman)! He's just got an air of confidence about him and I loved the scene with he and his friend (played by Todd Jansen) at the beginning in Vegas. They just looked like 2 guys having a great time but Dean's got a smile like Tom Cruise. I think he is going to be a HUGE star, in fact I'm going out tonight and renting some of the movies I saw listed for him like Air Marshal. All the action stuff was cool if you like that sort of thing and it was all realistic, not like some of these movies where everyone has unlimited bullets and can do all this stuff or they have 10 minutes to save the world or something.
