Emancipation
(2022)

It's fine
This film felt like a once in a decade oscar worthy masterpiece one minute and the next it felt like your average survival flick... The cons outweigh the pros, with The film was highly predictable, it used an unneccesary black and white colour shade that worked at first to convey the horrors of slavery, but as the film developed and the characters standards improved the grim colours didn't improve with them so it stopped working and started taking the little life that these characters could have had out of them. And of course a deus ex machina was used to defeat the main villain.

The only pros I can think of is the pacing, the at times decent cinematography and of course Will Smith was alright.

I will however end with saying that It's not a bad film. It's a film which shows a man who was forced to his lowest to fight the power to emancipate out of his chains to freedom... The excact feeling I had when watching this movie.

Don't wait for the big bang
If you excpect a compelling story with twists and turns watch something else, however if you excpect a simple and hearthwarming story that doesn't need any big twists this is it. It's a story most human people can relate too either through excperience or through just being human which makes it incredibly touching and is easy to shed a tear to(especially in that final scene). It's a story about live, about childhood, about family, about loss and about love. It's a story that's human and that's exactly what you need to be to watch this film. If you decide to watch this film, you need to forget about all your worries and your problems and just sit down relax be patient and let the movie do It's magic.

The Witcher
(2019)

They messed up!
I go against the majority, and dislike this because it feels rushed and doesn't feel connected at all. I feel like so many people like this because they only played the games. But as someone who has read the incredible books that suck you into this fantasy world, I am angry that they messed this up. To many plots, and stories from different books mixed together in one giant dissapointment, what is Ciri even doing here already. The books where perfect, They should have just followed them!

The only good things where the actors chosen for Geralt, yenneffer, jaskier and queen calanthe.

It is watchable as a show, just not given by what It's based on:(
