Being one of those who have read the whole wheel of time series, I was very excited and looking forward to watch the TV adaptation. However, when I got through the first episode, I was very disappointed that it was not based on the novel but had a different storyline. Still in the hope that this might be a different story but maybe with visuals and similar adaptation I might like it.

The whole series is poorly written out and made where there is no comprehensible idea of the world and as viewer, we get confuse about story. They should have been made it more coherent. VFX is not the only thing for which one watches a TV series.

The whole concept of wheel of time novels was to introduce a viewer to a whole new world of one power, trollocs and the dark one. In the first season, they didn't even bother to explain that what are "Taverns" which is the main idea in the weaving of pattern by the wheel.

Harry Potter got famous because it was purely based on the novel and thus even the reader for the first time tv viewer like that from the core of heart. But no one will be a hardcore fan of this TV adaptation.
