Old Dads
(2023)

Heartwarming
"Old Dads" is a heartwarming and humorous film that delves into the complexities of fatherhood in later stages of life. Directed by a talented team and featuring an ensemble cast of seasoned actors, this charming movie strikes a perfect balance between laughter and tears, making it a must-see for anyone who appreciates family-centric stories with a twist.

The film's central character, Frank (played by the ever-reliable Jeff Bridges), is an aging dad who unexpectedly finds himself becoming a father once again when his much younger wife, Emma (portrayed with grace by Alicia Vikander), becomes pregnant. Frank's initial reaction is a mix of shock and disbelief, which quickly gives way to the realization that, despite his age, he still has so much love to give. As Frank navigates the challenges of changing diapers and sleepless nights, the audience is taken on a rollercoaster of emotions.

What sets "Old Dads" apart is its ability to find humor in the mundane and touch the heart in unexpected ways. The chemistry between Jeff Bridges and Alicia Vikander is palpable, and they effortlessly capture the essence of a couple facing a unique set of trials and tribulations. The supporting cast, including seasoned comedians like Bill Murray and Jane Krakowski, adds depth to the film with their quirky characters and witty one-liners.

The movie explores themes of late-life parenting, the generation gap, and the universal struggle of finding meaning in one's twilight years. It reminds us that, no matter our age, the journey of parenthood can be a source of self-discovery and transformation.

The cinematography is exceptional, with the picturesque backdrop of a seaside town serving as the perfect canvas for the unfolding drama. The score, composed by a talented musician, complements the film beautifully, enhancing its emotional depth.

"Old Dads" is a reminder that life's most precious moments can happen when you least expect them. It is a touching and genuine exploration of the joys and challenges of late-life parenthood, wrapped in a cocoon of humor and warmth. The film's heartwarming and relatable story, combined with stellar performances, make it a delightful and memorable cinematic experience for audiences of all ages.

The Family Stallone
(2023)

A Heartwarming Showcase of Family Values and Sly's Endearing Persona
Wow, let me just start by saying that The Family Stallone has been an absolute delight to watch! As a fan of Sylvester Stallone, I was beyond excited to get a glimpse into his personal life and see the dynamics of the Stallone family unfold on screen. And boy, did it deliver!

This show isn't your typical reality TV drama. Instead, it's a genuine portrayal of the Stallone family's values and their unwavering love and support for one another. It's heartwarming to witness their unity in the face of challenges and the way they always have each other's backs. It's a refreshing departure from the superficiality often associated with reality shows, and it left me with a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

But let's talk about Sly, the man himself. I've admired him for years as an actor, but seeing his personal side showcased in The Family Stallone was something truly special. Sly's charisma and down-to-earth nature shine through every scene. He's not just a legendary Hollywood icon; he's a doting father, a devoted husband, and an all-around remarkable human being. His genuine warmth and humility make him instantly relatable, and I couldn't help but be inspired by his unwavering support for his family.

The show strikes the perfect balance between entertainment and authenticity. It never feels staged or forced. Instead, it feels like you're right there with the Stallone family, experiencing their everyday lives alongside them. It's like being a fly on the wall, witnessing their triumphs, their struggles, and the occasional disagreements. It's real, raw, and incredibly engaging.

The Family Stallone is a gem of a show. It's not just about the famous name or the glitz and glamor of Hollywood. It's about family, love, and the power of genuine connections. Whether you're a longtime fan of Sly or simply someone who appreciates heartwarming stories, this series will leave a lasting impact. Get ready to be inspired, entertained, and reminded of the importance of family values in our lives. Trust me, you don't want to miss it!

PS IMDB plz give a "How you doin'?" to Scarlet from my side :)

100% Fresh !!!
Everything about the series is awesome.

Every frame, scene, lines and shots are so stylish and beautiful yet not pretentious.

You might suddenly start laughing but it doesn't seems forced into the plot. Jella Haase's performance is mind blowing.

I regret not knowing her before, but still glad that this was my first German show and I loved it.

Jella Haase's performance is such a pleasure to witness, I'm gonna watch all of her filmographies now. I was worried that the show might not be able to be as captivating as it'd started but no, it proved me wrong.

Never, in any episode, I could predict anything.

This is 100% fresh and original !!!

Don't miss it!!!

Thor: Love and Thunder
(2022)

Waste of time and money
The movie makes no sense and is terrible. MCU is losing its grip and tries to make everything silly and funny, well, Idiotic if you wanna know the truth.

There's no script and screenplay, it seems, they just went along making the movie and it seems like they had just an outline and sequences to touch as they go.

The story is pathetic, CJI sucks big time and the plot makes no sense.

Instead of writing good stories and making it believable, the movie just goes whacky and disrespects the predecessors with its nonsensical narrative.

The whole thing about being a 'God-Butcher' and not showing any 'butchering' or the origin story where the antagonist says 'Gods don't care about humans' but kidnap kids to trap a god (ie Thor) makes no sense.

Pass this one.

Such movies should be removed from the world, like how Thanos intended to do.

The Batman
(2022)

One word: Disappointment
⭐ Neither a good superhero movie nor a good crime movie

As a lifelong DC and a Batman fan, i just want to say... I'm disappointed.

I really wanted to like the movie but it was so flat.

There were some great camera works and awesome shots but then again, It neither came out as a good superhero movie nor a good crime/thriller movie.

Peacemaker
(2022)

Best show of the decade
When the super hero movies as well as shows are losing its charm and struggling to make sense and relevance; shows like The Peacemaker, The Boys are here at the dawn of a new age for SuperHero shows which movies should learn from.

Freaking best show of the decade.

The Walking Dead: Acheron: Part I
(2021)
Episode 1, Season 11

Very promising- Trying TWD again
I felt like TWD had lost its edge some years ago and had skipped the last season but the opening of the season was absolutely fun.

Well written. Tight. And relevant to the plot.

Looks promising.

Stargirl: Summer School: Chapter One
(2021)
Episode 1, Season 2

Wanted to dislike the show
I've never been a fan of Stargirl or knew her for that matter but the show has changed my view.

I just gave it a watch knowing that it was a teen show and to diss on it but ended up liking the show even more.

Cheers for great acting, script, humour and amazing stunts. But still feels so organic.

Stargirl
(2020)

Unbelievably great 🤘
The show is strangely very good.

The writing, the caste, the humour, everything is so organic and perfect.

I'd have quit watching this show long back if it was not for these reasons.

Moreover, the action and stunts are unbelievable for a TV show.

Mimi
(2021)

Keep your tissues close
Mimi is the best from Indian film industry in 2021.

The story is so well crafted and so organic.

The cast is beautiful and so... perfect.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful journey.

American Horror Stories
(2021)

Teenage Halloween Comedy: Not Horror
Bad script- pure and simple. Nothing horror about this, very hard to define what it really is, apart from- Skippable

I saw some people writing stuff like bad acting but I think the actors aren't the problem but the writing, kid me not it's one of the worst writing I've seen in years in horror genre.

How is this even a horror story? Kinda comedy? Or kinda washed-up, trying to be, Goosebumps ? Riverdale?

One word: Skippable.

American Horror Stories: Rubber (Wo)man: Part One
(2021)
Episode 1, Season 1

I think they got the wrong script
Bad script- pure and simple.

I saw some people writing stuff like bad acting but I think the actors are fine but the script is really bad.

Why even call it American Horror Story ?

American Horror Stories: Drive In
(2021)
Episode 3, Season 1

Such bad writing
How come is it called the American Horror Story? More like cringy teenage drama.

Really disappointed.

American Horror Stories: Rubber (Wo)man: Part Two

Evil
(2019)

Deteriorates with every advance - Pure example of a Sunk Cause Fallacy
The show was good at its inception. The concept was really thought provoking and kind of disturbing in the beginning but as the show advances and now in Season 2 it is almost hysterical.

The show lost its edge in the middle of the show as if they just got confused how to pull it and just filled up the pages. I thought maybe they changed the writers in the middle of the show but apparently it's the same writers.

They're just dragging the character of the protagonist, (great actor though) it almost feels like she's idiot. There's no arc, characters won't share their issues with each other, so there's no growth on bonding but they want us to believe that they're good friends, but shows us just the opposite.

The cast is really good but the writing is just pathetic. Every episode is predictable and the show has lost its grit from its first episode where a man was arrested on a case of murder and necrophilia and slowly it becomes more like Supernatural. If you want to rip-off supernatural, we'd watch the original thing instead.

Pure example of a sunk cause fallacy.

Boss Level
(2020)

Ruined the concept
Never thought a movie with time-loop concept would ever bore me to death. Such lazy writing, such weak screen-play, tasteless direction. If you've ever loved movies like GroundHog Day, Edge of Tomorrow or Source Code then kindly skip the movie.

They've ruined the concept for the me forever, thank me later.

The Party's Just Beginning
(2018)

A great watch- Will change the name though
This is one of the best ones in the topic.

Exceptionally well-written and directed. At the end of the movie I realized that it was written by Karen Gillan. Kudos to her for being able to show the pain, despair and helplessness of the situation and yet not diverting from the subject.

The sensitive topic was very delicately held and beautifully made.

I'd have gone for a different name for the movie though. ;)

The Argument
(2020)

Being smart doesn't means being good- Avoidable
Sometimes someone gets a smart idea and decides to make a movie out of it, but then lacks the substance to fill out the whole picture.

Pseudo-smarts would say, "No, it is a smart take." "Not everyone's cup of tea."

I'll tell you what it is- BORING. Patting urself on the back about how smart the movie is, yes we can see through the flexing.

Update: They've deleted several Google reviews including mine who didn't like the movie.

Man with a Plan
(2016)

Matt Leblanc with some bad actors
Matt LeBlanc is fun to watch and he carries the whole show on his shoulders. His delivery and performance never loses its mark but same cannot be said about other actors.

Just read Jenna Fischer was considered for the role and i believe she would've made the show more watchable.

Some of the costars often do over-act and come out too strong which throws you off the scene, I think they don't understand that you don't have to be too loud or act quirky to be funny.

The supporting characters are very poorly written as well.

Friends: The Reunion
(2021)

Beautiful
I thought how will they do any justice to a show which has touched so many lives, but it definitely did justice to its legacy.

Full of laugh and tears.

Absolutely amazing ❤

Wrath of Man
(2021)

Noiice !!! :)
It was a really good watch. Just go for it. Very gripping story telling and a little bit darker than Guy Ritchie's usual but thoroughly enjoyed. \m/

The Inheritance
(2020)

Skip it, thank me later
Utter waste of time. Watched it by mistake because of a movie with the same name. Disappointed.

Zack Snyder's Justice League
(2021)

Thank you god!
Can't thank enough, restored my faith on miracles. Don't have much to say, I'm just glad. Thank you Zack! Thank you all the believers! Thank you God !

Bloody Hell
(2020)

Unexpectedly a great watch!
Unexpectedly a really good watch. Enjoyed thoroughly. The cast was really tight and was a real joy to see every scene of the protagonist 'Rex', even when he was talking to himself. Needs a sequel for sure.
