Dave: Harrison Ave
(2023)
Episode 2, Season 3

Firing on all cylinders
The whole premiere was fantastic, absolutely hilarious stuff. But this episode in particular was just amazing.

The constant action and dialogue was snappy and funny and stressful, but worked into all of this was another masterpiece In introspection from Dave. This has everything great about the first 2 seasons and then some.

The writing and directing was just top notch the whole way through and it's clear they're firing on all cylinders this season. I cannot wait to see where it goes from here.

Side note I loved Dave's parents in this one and I'm glad we're still getting scenes with them, they're always hilarious.

Chainsaw Man: Gunfire
(2022)
Episode 8, Season 1

Absolutely perfect
The real beginning of chainsaw man is finally here. Numerous characters are suddenly killed off and it sets the bar for how dark the series is willing to go.

The animation is stunning (as expected), although some of the cgi is a tad janky. For the most part the manga is adapted extremely well, with only one scene which I preferred the manga version of. The action is thrilling and effective, the horror aspects are pretty scary, and the overall tone of the episode is exactly what it needs to be.

I also want to express how brilliantly the shooting sequence was adapted. The music, the atmosphere, the shots of the guns being pulled, and then the sudden bangs all add up to what might have been the best scene animated yet.

10/10, can't wait for next episode.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: A Normal Amount of Rage
(2022)
Episode 1, Season 1

Solid start
Although parts are a bit too corny for me and some of the humor too juvenile, I found myself enjoying this episode quite a bit more than I thought I would.

Tatiana is very likable as she hulk and I'm looking forward to the rest of the show.

Better Call Saul: Waterworks
(2022)
Episode 12, Season 6

I'm not ok
This episode was absolutely superb. I won't get into spoilers but they didn't waste a single minute. The acting was amazing and there were some utterly heartbreaking moments, I can't wait to see what they do in the finale.

Better Call Saul: Nippy
(2022)
Episode 10, Season 6

I am floored
When I first realized this would be a gene episode I was not Entirely sold, having not cared that much about his previous appearances. The rest of the episode, however, proved to be one of the best in the show and I loved every minute once I was used to it.

This episode contains one of the most nerve wracking sequences in the whole BBU and I was on the edge of my seat for at least half the episode.

Spectacular episode that's just the kind of fun stress inducing hijinks that make this show so amazing!

Better Call Saul: Point and Shoot
(2022)
Episode 8, Season 6

A perfect follow up to episode 7
This episode wastes no time continuing the horrific ending of the previous ending, throwing us into easily the most stressful and intense episode of this series thus far, as well as possibly one of the most tense in the franchise.

Not a minute is wasted and every scene has a purpose. Fantastic episode.

I'd also like to mention the cold open, which is one of the most haunting things I've seen on television.

10/10 can't wait for next week!

Barry: starting now
(2022)
Episode 8, Season 3

Immaculate
Every single minute of this episode was depressing, bleak, tense, and hard to watch yet the episode felt like it only lasted 5 minutes it flew by so fast. Bill Hader put everything he had into every single scene and has proven himself (in my eyes) as one of the greatest directors to ever grace television.

Immaculate all around I can't wait for season 4!

Better Call Saul: Plan and Execution
(2022)
Episode 7, Season 6

Absolutely stellar
So far Better Call Saul season 6 has been nothing short of extraordinary, excelling in everything that makes both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul such great shows and feeling like a great mix of both.

This midseason finale is a perfect blend of pitch black comedy and constant anxiety, with a horrific ending that will surely shock all viewers (I audibly gasped).

10/10 episode!

Better Call Saul: Black and Blue
(2022)
Episode 5, Season 6

Great stuff
The first 3/4 of the episode was very fun, that Howard and Saul scene was one of the funniest in the show. Some great fan service as well.

The last quarter was absolutely nail biting stuff and fans will definitely be very pleased (I know I was).

10/10, season 6 is the gift that keeps on giving.

Better Call Saul: Hit and Run
(2022)
Episode 4, Season 6

Nice change of pace
Although it isn't as crazy as the previous episode, this episode was very entertaining and had a lot of great callbacks to breaking bad. Can't wait for next week!

Better Call Saul: Rock and Hard Place
(2022)
Episode 3, Season 6

Stunning
Nonstop tension for the entire episode, with one of the best endings in the breaking bad universe.

This was an amazing episode and I cannot wait to see how they top it in the coming weeks. Stellar writing, directing, cinematography across the board and easily the best of the show up to this point.

That ending man I'm not ok.

Barry: forgiving jeff
(2022)
Episode 1, Season 3

Fantastic premiere
Funny, dark, and very tense episode. Barry is proving itself once again to be one of the greatest shows on television. This premiere was fantastic and I cannot wait to see what happens in the coming weeks!

Shingeki no Kyojin: Assault
(2021)
Episode 7, Season 4

Some of the best action I've ever seen
This episode is absolutely stunning In every way and is imo better than season 3's hero. Probably the best episode of attack on Titan although S4 as a whole is just on another level.

The Batman
(2022)

One of my new favorite cbms
Exquisitely directed, extremely engaging and constantly thrilling. This might be the best live action Batman movie ever.

Robert Pattinson was great as Batman, easily becoming my new favorite and Paul dano was very entertaining.

10/10.

Better Call Saul: Bagman
(2020)
Episode 8, Season 5

Perfect television
An absolutely exhausting experience, this episode is equal parts darkly humorous as it is distressing.

The episode wastes very little time getting Saul into the desert, where he spends the rest of this episode.

Great character work for both Saul and Mike and a very entertaining episode overall.

10/10.

Barry: ronny/lily
(2019)
Episode 5, Season 2

Mayhem
This episode perfectly blends gruesome violence, slapstick comedy, and incredible facial expressions to create an experience that's as equally thrilling as it is laugh out loud funny.

Mr. Robot: 407 Proxy Authentication Required
(2019)
Episode 7, Season 4

Who is mr robot?
After all this time, we finally get an answer to the big question, and it's not only a great answer but it's presented in one of the most tense and excellent hours of television I've ever seen.

This entire episode is a masterclass in every level of filmmaking, not a minute is wasted and not a single shot is bad. The gimmick of the episode also works out extremely well to create a feeling of theatricality in the drama that unfolds.

Every single performance from every actor in this episode are pitch perfect, and you can tell the creators put every ounce of effort they could into it.

10/10, one of the all time great episodes in television history.

Shingeki no Kyojin: From You, 2000 Years Ago
(2022)
Episode 21, Season 4

It's finally begun
This was even better than the last episode, and everything so far has been leading up to this. The rumbling arch has finally begun and i don't even have words to describe how perfect that final sequence was. This is about to get crazy.

Shingeki no Kyojin: Sneak Attack
(2022)
Episode 18, Season 4

Awesome
This episode was very entertaining and the pacing is a lot better than the previous episode as far as adapting the chapter went. I am a little worried about how they're going to do this entire arch in such a short period of time but either way this was great and i'm looking forward to next week.

Dave: Dave
(2021)
Episode 10, Season 2

Best Episode Yet
This episode had everything. Great humor, great drama, great character development, and most importantly: great music.

This is the Dave we know and love, bring on season 3!

Dave: Enlightened Dave
(2021)
Episode 9, Season 2

Reminded me of Bojack Horseman
The way the episode seamlessly transitions into an absurdist dream sequence felt like something straight out of a lynch movie, yet the whole thing is still so absurd that you can't help but laugh.

The final resolution is great and the song at the end is a banger. The episode is also packed with symbolism and some really neat tie ins to previous episodes that might not be very easy to catch.

10/10 probably the second best episode of the season.

Kaubôi bibappu: Cowboy Bebop: Toys in the Attic
(1998)
Episode 11, Season 1

the end
This episode was a great homage to the alien movies, while also being effortlessly hilarious at the same time. The next time on segment is very funny as well.

10/10 great atmospheric episode and i'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Star Wars: Visions: The Duel
(2021)
Episode 1, Season 1

Solid opener
There was not a lot of substance, however there is in fact a duel and the duel is very entertaining and well animated.

Solid premiere and i'm excited to see the other stories.

Sex Education: Episode 8
(2021)
Episode 8, Season 3

This isn't a goodbye, it's a see you soon
And hopefully we do see this show again soon because i am going to miss it. Season 3 was a bumpy ride, although personally it was my favorite season so far. Lot's of ridiculous melodramatic love triangles and a Mrs Trunchbull-esque antagonist made the season very divisive but I personally loved the ridiculousness and drama.

The finale was a perfect conclusion to this season and managed to get me laughing, crying, and smiling the entire way through.

Otis's session with hope was really sweet and the final moments between him and maeve were perfect.

Excited to see where the show goes from here,

See you soon.

Twin Peaks: The Return: Part 18
(2017)
Episode 18, Season 1

Unconventional but good ending
This isn't your usual ending. It doesn't really make sense and almost half of the episode is just them driving, but it culminates in a great scene and overall was a very enjoyable final chapter in this series.

I think I would call part 17 the real finale, with 18 being the epilogue, and that's a good thing.

I hope we get a season 4 (or maybe another movie) but that is very unlikely.

Overall I am very satisfied with this episode and the series as a whole.
