The Towel Man
(2021)

Terrible
Seriously? What was this filmed with? VHS tape? The camera man has a nervous twitch at times. There is no acting, just amateurs trying to be actors. The rape scenes are quirky, unrealistic, and just down right stupid. The sound is hollow and poorly recorded. The writing is that of a third grader (and I am being generous). I assume this is a self funded film with volunteer pseudo actors. Clearly made by high schoolers or lower. Don't waste your time, money, eyesight, etc. I should also mention that this film is only 69 minutes long and that is 75 minutes too long. If the writer and director thought they had Hollywood careers, think again.

Christmas Lovers Anonymous
(2021)

Not Needed
There really isn't anything of quality that I can say about this movie. The acting is amateurish, the story is weak, the character development is down right non existent, and the fact that the same person wrote, directed and acted in the movie probably means they couldn't get anyone else to do it. The lead actress acts like she is in elementary school not an adult and book author. I'm guessing with the limited budgets that these movies have is the only reason it got released in the first place. If this is what Great American Family channel is going to dole out to us, I'll stick to the Hallmark channel.

Omen IV: The Awakening
(1991)

You can pass on this!
This movie really lacks in character development and plot design. No really good performances.

Backdraft 2
(2019)

An Unfortunate Sequel
Truth be told, I not a fan of most sequels. Trying to recreate a good first film into a second good film is most difficult. This film is no exception. It is underwhelming and a far cry from the original. The action is not as good and the story is slow to develop. Donald Sutherland is an excellent actor regardless.

The Lighthouse
(2016)

Slow and Methodical
This movie, while based on true events, is slow and methodical in it presentation. Yes it is about two lighthouse keepers stuck in a lighthouse 25 miles from land off the coast of Ireland. It basically portrays them going crazy due to months of isolation.
