Worth the watch, everyone should relate to it. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. We all had those friends in high school, the jocks, the cool kids, the cliques, the dudes dancing hip hop in the gym, etc. I went to many schools growing up and I never attended my prom or any reunions. I have caught up to many of my friends through the years via social media and encountered every type in this movie. Especially the popular girl back then whose life didn't turn out how she or everyone else figured it would.
Bright spots were Chris Pratt, he threw himself into that role perfectly and captured the a**hole bully that thought he has changed but never really did. My favorite parts involved Reeves and Elise, we all had that one person we wished we had the nerve to ask out but didn't think we were either cool enough or were afraid of being rejected by them. When he sang his hit song "Never Had" live on stage at their old high school bar "Pretzels" that she admitted never hearing that song and the moment of realization Elise had that Reeves wrote the song about her was the single best part of the movie for me. Redemption moment right there...
Definitely a must see and for me personally, very enjoyable...
