Jack Ryan: Proof of Concept
(2023)
Episode 6, Season 4

This was by far the worst season of them all also a horrible finale!!!
This was by far the worst season of them all also a horrible finale!!! I was sorely disappointed about this season as a whole, and the finale was rushed.

I also cannot stand when these Hollywood liberals push their political agenda on the audience. The other seasons were good because it was just entertainment and they didn't get involved with politics. However; since this was the last show of the last season, they could jam their political jabs in with no consequences of losing audience members. At the very end, it had to be the big bad Republican Senator that was behind the attacks plotted against America because of greed. I could have come up with at least 3 endings that would have been better without the political swipes. If there was another season, they would most likely lose half their viewership. The easy ending is to blame greedy American Republican politicians on wanting to ruin America instead of staying away from politics. Now the writers and directors can get more Hollywood gigs because they towed the narrative.

Friends with Benefits
(2011)

Fun lighthearted movie with an expected ending
Quick review here. I don't usually go for this type of movie but Timberlake / Kunis just work well together. If you have nothing going on and you want to watch a good flick that you will most likely guess the outcome about 2/3'rds of the way through, then watch it. Good acting and as mentioned earlier lighthearted. If you're the type of person that believes in fairytale love stories, this is definitely for you. I hate to admit that I enjoyed it more than I should have and the Alzheimers portion made it more human than most. I have to admit that I LOVE Mila Kunis as she plays her part to perfection. After watching this, I would have loved to have met her character in real life. A very cool, down to earth chick that you cannot help but fall in love with!!! If her character exists in real life, I'm sorry I never got the opportunity to meet up with her as I definitely would have fallen in love with that person and can say for sure would have had everlasting love.

Very sappy review, I know but it comes from the heart and this movie gets you by the feels. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

All Star Shore
(2022)

After one episode, I don't think I'll watch another
This show just seems like a bunch of thirsty people trying to outdo one another to create a contrived me, me, me, moment for themselves. I wanted to like it, but just can't stomach the acts of idiocy. It seems like they chose the thirstiest person from all of the MTV "Shore" shows and threw them together to see what happens. It will not be the ratings juggernaut they think. I enjoyed Jersey Shore and still enjoy Jersey Shore Family Vacation, but this show will most likely be pure garbage and contrived debauchery.

Eternals
(2021)

This is a rip-off of "The Old Guard"
Was not a bad movie, but was about 30 minutes too long and jumped back and forth in time way too much. This could have been a good movie, but the entire time I was watching this I was thinking that I had just seen a very similar movie. I was right, this was a rip-off of The Old Guard. Marvel could have done so much more with this movie. Worth watching if you are an MCU fan.

10 Years
(2011)

Worth the watch, everyone should relate to it.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. We all had those friends in high school, the jocks, the cool kids, the cliques, the dudes dancing hip hop in the gym, etc. I went to many schools growing up and I never attended my prom or any reunions. I have caught up to many of my friends through the years via social media and encountered every type in this movie. Especially the popular girl back then whose life didn't turn out how she or everyone else figured it would.

Bright spots were Chris Pratt, he threw himself into that role perfectly and captured the a**hole bully that thought he has changed but never really did. My favorite parts involved Reeves and Elise, we all had that one person we wished we had the nerve to ask out but didn't think we were either cool enough or were afraid of being rejected by them. When he sang his hit song "Never Had" live on stage at their old high school bar "Pretzels" that she admitted never hearing that song and the moment of realization Elise had that Reeves wrote the song about her was the single best part of the movie for me. Redemption moment right there...

Definitely a must see and for me personally, very enjoyable...

The Little Things
(2021)

Excellent thriller that keeps you guessing
I found this to be a fantastic movie. Denzel Washington is a Great actor, Jared Leto plays an excellent psychotic that you love to hate and Rami Malek's acting chops also surprised me. I find it hard to believe why some people rated this so poorly.

When watching this movie, the best advice I can give is pay attention to the little things (pun intended). I picked up more on my 2nd viewing and the ending leaves you guessing, but to me that's one of the things that made this a great movie. I can understand why that may be the reason for some of the lower ratings, but that has more to say about the people who gave it low ratings lack of intelligence and understanding of a thriller.

The Tomorrow War
(2021)

Not horrible, but not great either. Just Meh
SPOILERS!!!

There were too many holes in the story line for me to get into, but anyone with half a brain will come to the same conclusions I did by the end. Not the worst film ever produced but could and should have went in a different direction.

One big point of contention is: The world has a mandatory draft to stop the aliens and the military spares no expense to try and eradicate them (even gives families $1 million if their family member (draftee) does not return from the future, but by the time Chris Pratt returns from the future (7 days later) NATO is disbanded and the military refuses to send a team to prevent the attack from ever occurring because they don't want to spend the money... So 6 civilians have to take matters into their own hands to try and save the world almost starting this alien war years before it supposedly occurred.

He was broken up about his daughter dying in the future but when he returned to the present he had the toxin to defeat the aliens which would have prevented his daughter from being in that position.

Again, it's good to kill some time and relax for a couple hours with some adult beverages, but I would be VERY UPSET if I had spent money to see this.

Infinite
(2021)

Great concept but the movie fell flat
I wanted to like this movie as I usually enjoy Mark Wahlburg's movies but what a disappointment. It was like a "B" or even a "C" version of the Matrix without the special effects and storyline. I don't know if Coronavirus prevented additional editing and re-shoots, but this should still be in the cutting room. Believe me, my 2 star rating is generous. I just hope this isn't the beginning of Wahlburg accepting bad scripts to pay his bills. The ending was the best part and I can see a sequel being made, but if one is, I hope it is done better.

Without Remorse
(2021)

The 5.8 rating is 5.2 higher than it should be.
Over the top stupidity meets very bad acting. Hopefully this review will save you and hour and a half of your life you'll never get back.

WandaVision: Now in Color
(2021)
Episode 3, Season 1

Getting interesting now!!!
The 1st 2 episodes were a bit hokey for me, but I hadn't watched the Avengers series. Went back and watched them and now this is beginning to make a lot of sense. This is turning out to be a fantastic series and this episode is starting to tie things together. I hope this train doesn't derail later but so far I'm hooked. I keep noticing the Hydra and S.W.O.R.D. Easter eggs and can't wait ti see the tie in.

Wahlburgers: Wahl'king Down Memory Lane?
(2018)
Episode 7, Season 9

Great show
I enjoy this show, Donnie seems like a genuinely kind person, Mark seems self absorbed and Paul just wants to cook good food even though Mark constantly pushes to expand.
